I like this hotel, even if there’s no AC and the elevator is not working we have to carry our luggages when we go down coz we left the hotel early. I also booked airport transfer, and it’s already pick up time I called the driver and the driver said Avenue Hotels didn’t inform him that he have a booking on that day. So I waited for an hour for him to arrive. Well on the bright side, the staff gave us free breakfast when we check in on our 1st day and there’s a very cute receptionist too. Lol

I was late check in after the official check in time of 12am...they sent me email to show how to do check in but I did not notice it and waited at the building while the reception is at the 1/F. I do think they would wait for you and but you need to call them before 12am to ensure you could meet the reception face by face. I saw a couple who is late check in and waited at 1/F reception till 2am. A kind reminder to call them for late check in. The location is perfect and the bed is comfortable. But it was a bit hot during my stay as I stay in a room without air conditioning. Other things are good.

Was very confort my nights there. The staff is very pleasent, although they didin’t speak portuguese, and that was kind of not helpfull cause i was with my mother who didin’t speak english. Even though they were awesome. My privite room was clean, it didn’t have a heat, but thank god nights wasn’t too cold. Bathrooms were clean too. The best was the breakfast, they had breads, iogurt, pancakes, fruits... everything you need for a very good start in the morning. Definitely would stay there again.

Our room was supposed to be a “superior double room” and literally nothing about it was somewhat acceptable even tho our expectations were pretty low due to it being a hostel and comparatively low price. - the smell in the room was horrible; a mixture of mold, humidity and dust - it was ridiculously cold even tho we got a small space heater provided (which didn’t heat up anything) - there were a lot of big stains on the curtains as well as a bunch of hair on our bedding sheets - we only got provided one towel each and there wasn’t even soap in any of the bathrooms, let alone body wash or any other commonly provided toiletries - the shared bathrooms had bath mats in them which were supposed to be used by all guests together and are highly unsanitary - our room had no facilities to hang up our clothes, not even a simple rack for jackets Overall, it wasn’t really clean and pretty inconveniently designed. the only thing good was the free okayish breakfast and the staff being nice.

Solo Traveller in a single room with shared bathrooms. There were 5 bathrooms so never had a wait. Breakfast was great for only €6 and cooked fresh for you. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Space to work with extension plugs too. 6 min walk from the metro and a 20 min walk into the town centre. Great stay for budget friendly if you’re spending most of your day and night out

Very charming hostel with nice staff, an excellent breakfast, and clean room and shared bathroom for a very reasonable price. The location is perfect to get around Lisbon and I really enjoyed the young and friendly atmosphere with good music at the coffee place and i was lucky to get a free chocolate pizza for "gouter". I definitely recommend this place! The only bemol is the lack of accessible information to reach the hostel in case of delays with the flight (the phone number was outdated and difficult to get an email address) but apart from that, everything was perfect!

Look no further. This placed is well located and very comfortable with a lovely atmosphere and the friendliest, most helpful staff ever. I had a private room with balcony on the 4th floor and it was awesome. Shared bathrooms are stylish and clean. Try the breakfast at least once-- it's a work of art. The only negative thing was the elevator-- it needs a complete overhaul.

직원분들 친절하고 상냥하고 샤워실도 많아서 불편함 없습니다. 위치는 좀 위쪽이긴한데 교통권 끊으면 괜찮아요. 근데 제가 묶은 방은 바깥쪽 창문 커튼이 없어서 쪼매 불편했어요 그것 빼고는 좋습니당
