Sunsets 🌅 to cherish ”
Wow we were blown over by the deluxe room size.It was so comfortable & spacious. The meals in both dining areas were great, especially at sunset bar. The hotel staff were always so friendly and accommodating. Only negative was the dirty gym with either no towels or used “rags “ Come on guys such an awesome hotel but awful gym We will definitely return but get the gym in order By the way we really appreciated our Wedding anniversary cake🎂 👍👍
Dear Andre Thank you very much for your great review of your stay at The Camakila. I am thrilled you loved your stay with us . Thank you also for your advice on the gym, which we have been working on improving thanks to your comments. Many thanks and regards Greg
Good value ”
Great value for money, friendly staff and good rooms. The pools and severe lack sun beds could really do to improve. There are not enough beds period, the pool at the top should have an extra row of beds above those currently there. By 8am the majority of sun beds have been reserved, many are not used and the towels are not removed. The pools are over chlorinated enough that you eye get burned after only limited exposure. We like the Camakila and I’d love to see if they could improve both areas as it would make a huge difference to customer enjoyment and we would consider returning.
Dear Kasey Thank you very much for your good review of your stay at The Camakila. Thank you for your advice for the the sunbeds and the chlorine. Both of these we are focusing on now to try and improve more. Many thanks and regards Greg
Great stay at the Camakila hotel, Legian”
We did a 11 night stay. This is our second time we have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is lovely. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good facilities. The back of the resort goes straight onto the beach. Legian is a great location. Does not have the mayhem of Kuta. Also, I prefer Legian over Seminyak. Legian has tons of restaurants, bars and shops. There is a great range of restaurants, so if you want to dine cheap you can but if you want to go a bit more up market you can. The good bit about the Camakila hotel is you can go out the front and be part of the scene or go out the back (which is quieter) and walk along past a great array of eating / drinking places, overlooking the beach. The Camakila has two pools. One in the main part of the complex and the other at the back of the resort. The one at the back is an infinity pool overlooking the beach.
Great Long Weekend”
We chose Camakila based on a recommendation of our accompanying friends and thankfully were not disappointed. Staff were courteous and always helpful. The way we were treated made us feel special. Our airconditioned room was a treat in the warm weather. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Great value for money ”
This is a great hotel for value for money. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very attentive. My only criticism was the chairs around the pool, even though they have signs people still left their towels on chairs and left the resort for many hours. The resort doesn't have enough lounges to choose from so it makes it difficult at time to get s seat by the pool. The top deck Pool has very little shade maybe larger umbrellas would solve this problem. Our room was outside a pond, I'm not sure what animal it was but kept us awake for hours at night, so I would suggest not staying near the pond. Would I stay there again? maybe only for 3 days but no more...
Dear Glen Thank you very much for your great review of your stay at The Camakila. I am very pleased you felt Camakila was great value for money, thank you also for your advice on the sun loungers and the ponds. Many thanks and regards Greg
We couldn’t have been happier staying at the Camakila The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff were so friendly and always on hand. We had buffet breakfast every morning and ate at the restaurant for Indonesian theme night reasonably priced We loved the infinity pool on the beach side of the resort with Cocktails and or mocktails available on the rooftop bar at happy hour prices and buy 3 for the price of 2 Functional gym Location was terrific, chemist and money exchange across the road (front) With beach access at the rear “Brothers Beach Bar” with Joshua was our pick for sunset drinks. Our tour guide was the best, reasonable prices for airport pick up and day trips Nada Kusuma (Legend Tour) email@example.com Phone +6281 338 533 854 We will definitely come again to stay at Camikila hotel
Dear Melinda Thank you very much for your great review of your stay at The Camakila. I am thrilled you loved your stay with us . Many thanks and regards Greg
Great location on Legian Beach front. So close to Double Six restaurants. Nestled hideaway. Both pools were great with one overlooking Legian Beach. Staff were extremely friendly. Yummy breakfast. Beautifully appointed room.
Dear Michelle, Thank you for our amazing feedback, it is a pleasure to know that you had a memorable stay with us. we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Best regards, Yan Sucitra-Executive Assistant Manager
Best Location Amazing Staff Very nice Resort”
Great location Opposite beach, has two entry points which makes a difference. Close to shops and restaurants. Amazing Staff a credit to Management. Good variety of breakfast. 2 pools with lovely grounds Will deffinatly be back and would recommend
Dear Kerri, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. This is brilliant to hear and we hope to see you back soon. Best regards Greg, The Camakila
It has it all”
Very restful with easy access to everything we needed. Staff were helpful and their English was exceptional. This hotel is away from the madness of Kuta and in an area that felt safe with no real aggressive stall holders or peddlers. It is also well away from the crazy traffic of Bali so walking around the streets was easy. Having said that you are no more than a $2 taxi ride to Kuta if you want to shop at Discovery and experience the madness or the High End shops of Seminyak. If you have a sweet tooth I recommend the hotels Coconut Pudding for dessert it was delicious. Hotel offers many discount vouchers on arrival including a free photographic portrait which we saw many couples utilizing at sunset on the beach.
Location on the beach ”
Enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Camakila resort, the location on the beach is what we really loved, walked on the beach early in the morning and had Bintang at Brothers Bar while watching the sunset later in the day. Very helpful friendly staff, greet you at all times. The resort is very well maintained and clean, our room was large and our bed was extra large king bed, very comfortable with good Airconditioning. The breakfast was excellent with lots to choose from. Two pool areas both clean and well maintained. The gym is small but good and quality equipment. They had Balinese dancers and fire dancers at the restaurant. We would definitely recommend staying at the Ramada!
Nice hotel in great location ”
The Ramada Resort located just across from the beach off JL Padma. Short taxi ride to Kuta or Seminyak (or take a motorbike for the more daring) and walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shopping and the beach. Rooms and Hotel is well maintained and clean. Bathroom is not 5 star but definitely nothing wrong with it - and hey your not paying 5 star prices. Didnt use room service, pool was nice and breakfast was your usual bali breakfast. Would definitely consider staying again if I stay in Legian
Big rooms, great location ”
Had a great stay , staff were very friendly , rooms are a good size if you need an extra bed. Food was probably the only let down , not bad but have had better but there are some great restaurants on the beach like mozzarellas and seaside , loved the infinity pool beachside , would definitely recommend this hotel
good value and great location”
my wife and i arrive from perth on an early flight and were at the hotel by 9am. front desk were very hospitable and made every effort to accomodate us there and then but we wanted a pool access room so they managed to get us in and settled by 12. the rooms were spacious, tidy and the level of service from all the staff was excellent. the only drawback and this has been advised before is the musky smell that welcomes you when you enter the rooms. we ended up hanging an air freshener over the air con vent and this seemed to help. if they could address this one issue that as i said has been reported by alot of people then they would offer excellent value for money. we love the location on jalan padma utara. even though it is a one way road in that area it is no such issue if you have a scooter. it's access all areas...
good clean modern central would stay again”
we stayed for four nights and then had left the final three unboooked to have a look around bali to see if there were better options but decided to stay on for the three here, that says it all really, if you are in kuta and want to be closer to seminyak and a bit out of the kuta crowd this is a good option,,, on the beach, two pools one with bar,,all good
Great location and value for money”
we had a great 8 day stay at the ramada. we usually stay in kuta but found the ramada a much better location. legian is much quiter and it's an easy walk into seminyak. you can walk out of the hotel onto the beach and a pathway that leads to heaps of restaurants in either direction. the room was large and modern with a comfy bed. the bath towels were a bit hard and grey but did their job! water from the shower and bath was a bit smelly but fine if you let it run for a few minutes. the staff were really friendly and always smiling - we'd definately stay again.
Loved the Resort”
Camakila was more than I expected, really enjoyed my stay there wish I could have stayed longer. Rooms are nice and clean. Staff always friendly and helpful. Just across from beach and walking distance to great restauants and shops.
Fanstastic Hotel, best service”
The staff were second to none. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. It is very relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable hotel to stay at. The food from room service was exceptional and the prices were very reasonable. It was also right at the heart of the best part of Bali. Beach one side and shopping at the hotels door step.
This was our first stay at the Ramada....we previously used the Jayakarta. It is a lovely new hotel!! Highlight, is the good start to the day, with a really good breakfast. It was not the "bun fight" which you often experience in some hotels. A great selection every day, and a relaxed breakfast!! Points of criticism would firstly be the poor lighting in the rooms. It is very difficult to have a bed-time read!!!! The pool area is extremely nice, but there is a shortage of sun-beds....age old problem, suffered by most hotels around the world!! Whilst the lay-out clearly restricts where beds can be positioned, it certainly needs more!! Staff were courteous, and helpful. Bottom line...this is a good hotel, which we would use again!!
Excellent 4 days 3 nights stay”
We stayed in Bali for 4 days 3 nights and had an enjoyable stay in this resort. The location was great, very near to the airport and other interesting places. I will definitely recommend the resort to my friends and relatives.
this hotel stated they just opened late October so I expected a rather new hotel. well, the outside (lobby / communal area) are nice and new but the room is slightly dissapointing. One night when I was sleeping I heard noise sounds very much like a group of mice running around behind the wall...i am hoping it's not....but over all it's an ok hotel. The staffs are very helpful and friendly though.
