Simply paradise”
The staff at the Ayodhara Village were absolutely incredible. In a nation renown for friendly people they stood out - nothing was too much trouble and they were always there to make our stay enjoyable. I couldn't rate them highly enough. Each room at the hotel was a little teak house and these were beautiful and clean. The grounds were amazing and I enjoyed being out of Ayutthaya town itself but within easy reach via tuk-tuk. The only problems were the really hard beds (harder than anything else in Asia) and breakfast. It was beautiful having breakfast on the river but it was fairly disappointing and a laborious process being waited on.

Brilliant, highly recommended”
I would highly recommend the Ayodhara Village. The little teak rooms were beautiful and the grounds were ideal for relaxing. The staff deserve special mention, they were the best I encountered in 5 weeks in Asia. Super friendly and very keen to help out whenever they could. They were really lovely and genuine.

Ayodhara Village: an ancie Thai village experience”
The hotel is built like an ancient Thai village with typical houses on stilts. It is on a quiet countryside road next to a river and not very far from Ayutthaya. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was very nice. Areas for improvement are the beds (the mattrasses are very hard), furniture (chairs missing inside) and maybe lighting (too much neon, but you can turn these lights off). But the great service makes up for these shortcomings.

Ayohara village”
Well, first of all, i chose to visit Ayodthaya because i'd like to visit old temples and find some delicious food, so i picked up Ayohara Village, nice place and opened just 1 year (i love to visit a new resort), but the most attracted me is this place is unique!!! I can feel the way of life when i spent my time there...very peace and relaxing mind.... The price is not too high. Not too cloudy atmosphere. If you are looking for a place whihc is not too far from bkk and need to rest your body and mind, i prefer Ayohara Village!!!

great stay except of the beds”
My wife and I stayed here over the weekend. The staff really went out of its way in this one year old compound, consisting of 12 old Thai style bungalows. Management is smart enough to cater the food from nearby stalls or a restaurant, which guarantees the freshness and variety. Wifi is freely available, but a weak at the end of the compound. Ayoddhara village is mainly used by locals, so the atmosphere is quite authentic. A tuk-tuk to town can be rented for TBD 100, but this is probably overpriced if one haggles a bit. The massage by local women is hard but they are knowledgeable at a price of TBD 240 for 90 minutes! The big draw-back are the beds, spacious, but with a Thai mattress, i.e. hard like a board. No problem for me, but my wife needed a sleeping pill.

Ayodhara Village. Ayuthaya”
You can borrrow bikes for free at the hotel to go to Ayuthaya. It is 15 minutes and you are in the temples. It is nice to sleep outside Ayuthaya though, because you can also bike aroud the rice fields and villages. It is very beautiful, and the roads are not crowded, you really are in the countryside. It is an excellent choice when you live in Bangkok, you feel far from the noise and pollution. The staff is very nice and professional. They looked for the best way to go back to Bangkok. You can actually go on a short cruise ( about 3 hours)with lunch included.

Living Ayutthaya History”
Driving south on Rt 32, it did not make any sense in how to get to this resort froim the south or north. Just by chance, we called the resoirt and one of the staff actually met us in the city at a designated location and led us to the resort. From then on, it was easy. The setting was great and it made you feel like you were a part of history. The gorunds were covered with beautiful flowers and otehr plants. After ordering room service breakfast the 1st day, breakfast arrived for us without ever asking again. All meals were excellent and reasonably priced.

Loved environment with Thai-style houses and trees”
Need to install emergency lights when there's no electricity available especially during late night. It should not be just a short period of time as mentioned by hotel staff. However, we love the environment with all Thai-style houses located in the village and adjacent to the river. It's good to be away from the city but the location is not far from the city if you drive your own car.

Place for relaxation”
This hotel is good for people who would like to get close to nature. Room is beautiful, however there should be a little more facilities e.g., jacuzzi, or bathtub. Finally, the services is good, the staffs are very friendly and attentive. Overall, it is a nice place to stay for an experience.

Lovely hotel located on the banks of Lopburi river”
We had a wonderful stay at Ayodhara. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were well trained and very cordial. If given a chance my family would love to stay there again.

Stunning out of town location.”
I stayed for two nights & loved the natural surroundings & friendly staff. The first night I had dinner here & was very good. The second night I went in to town & thought to myself "I should of eaten at the village again". The only thing that may be a drawback would be the 15 minute tuk-tuk ride into town.

fresh air/food + room amenities to be improved”
I like the fact that the hotel situates on a great location though it is not right at the center of the historical areas of Ayutthaya, but it doesn't take too long to find it,so it is very quiet and what a beautiful scenery! It has such a great environment ,a view of endless rice fields and the local farmer's houses nearby as well as a view of the Lopburi river. However, I was a little intimidated by the food quality especially the breakfast, no hair-drier, the mattress was too flat and hard, the room amenities weren't that satisfied comparing to how much i paid. I doubted that it was worth the price.

I do love the resort. For me, it is like a hideaway place where Thai traditional living is fulfi”
Morning giving alms to monk is awesome! It is just 10 minutes drive to historic city of Ayutthaya.

Nice hotel but fa away from city”
The village is nice and quite apart from Ayutthaya (about 200-300b taxi ride from the train station). We stayed two nights at a superior villa. The place could do a lot better: the staff is pleasant but the accommodation cannot be rated as "superior". Breakfast is poor, as is the rest of the food offered. You need transport to get into the city - the closest thing is the elephant kraal, 2km away. Internet is only available at the common areas. However, the other services offered: tours, massage, scooter hire, are nice and not overpriced.

Good for a quiet day or two”
It's away from Ayutthaya, so you will have to take a cab (10-15 min drive) or you can expect a long walk (45 mins+). Once you're there it will be a bit challenging to get a cab (unless you are Thai or speak the language and can figure things out). So, if you want a cab try the advance booking on Grab. I had trouble getting a taxi in the evening so I booked advance for the next morning. The resort has one tiny cafe with some noodles, soda, beer, that's all I saw. And that shuts at 5 pm. No one told me that. And after that if you want something from outside there is a number on the reception door for you to call. Challenging if you don't speak Thai, ask someone to translate for you. They can basically get food delivered to you through a motorcycle. Just these minor things to keep in mind, otherwise the property is gorgeous for quiet time, there is nothing else to do. The sun sets on the side of the river/stream so evening is hot, morning is good for views.

Beautiful, peaceful resort with friendly staff”
We really enjoyed staying at Adoyhara Village the chalet was spacious and clean. It is about 20 minutes from town so make sure you bring plenty of games to play in the evening. There is free internet which is useful as we needed this to translate questions to staff as most of them speak very little English. It is definately worth the stay if you want to relax but near enough to visit things.
