Beautiful resort but a little outdated and overpriced.
This hotel is massive and it really depends what kind of holiday you want to have. If you want your choice of on site restuarants, the beach, big pools then this certainly has everything you need. It's also very close to bali collection for a spot of shopping, also not far from the airport. Kids club is excellent. We felt as though the rooms were outdated and the resort was so massive that it lost that personable aspect. We prefer a more authentic balinese hotel. We had a late checkout and on the day on 3 occasions we had staff come into our room, then apologise that they got the wrong room etc, was a little invasive and we had a young baby sleeping so was disruptive. Nusa dua is known for it's resorts and an easy style holiday. ALthough the staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt that doing anything in the resort eg eating, transport, activities and spas were very expensive compared to the rest of bali itself.

Nice hotel but lacks soul; everything ok but has no wow factor
+'s - close to beach, generally everywhere was clean, no bad smells and everything worked. Good selection for breakfast and good quality food. -'s - Over priced for drinks and food. If you didn't want to eat at over priced restaurants in the hotel you had to take a taxi out. Wasn't what I'd call a safe area for a couple to be walking alone at night. Some staff were lovely and others just didn't understand customer service. If you wanted a drink at the pool 9/10 times you'd have to go and order it as they didn't have people coming round often. Restaurants didn't have everyday selections; I can't eat a fancy meal every night so found it hard to eat there every night. Balinese night was ok but the food was like slops; not good! We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere around the pool but there's lots for them to improve on as a whole.

Ayodya was fantastic!!
I've never stayed at a resort so equipped with everything you would need. From The friendly staff and generously sized bedrooms to the pools and extent of restaurants. Close walk to Seminyak collection and amazing spot in the beach. The capirinhia was a gooood cocktail!

We stayed in the Palace and we were very happy with our room.
Our stay was so relaxing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, we could choose from dining in any one of 5 restaurants. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in Bali. Beautiful!

Just right
Staff 5/5 Services 5/5 Restaurants 4.5/5 Room 3.5/5 Pool 4/5 Beach 4.5/5 Price vs Quality 5/5 Hassle free 5/5 The resort is an excellent choice if you are looking for top service attention, good food, a terrace to relax during sunset and an excellent well serviced beach. The only lowlights are the swimming pool and the rooms that need to be refurbished not to feel outdated.

Large hotel but quite dated cold showers and pricey
Loved the location but was not much help on first night due to was just asking for a glass of milk for a baby's bottle so she could sleep and the best they could offer was a $5.00aud for a glass of milk when you buy a litre for $2aud
