Facilities really awful. The wörst thing we have ever seen. Our sheets were broken and too short. Nothing under the pillow. Dirty!! The floor only cement not clinkers. The door broken. And we paid 533 bath for that. How you can have this hostel in your list?????
A terrible place with bedbugs!”
A terrible place with a lot of bedbugs! We had to leave at night.
I'm so sorry for this case but I check in the room it not see anything ( I test by sent staff sleep in this room 1 night ) So. I refund money to guest already
Affordable accommodation with service-oriented staff”
A cosy small place surrounded with it's own free parking spand and a garden at the entrance. The check-in was personal and in my opinion professional. Free wifi and a room including all I needed. The room was small and the furnishing was minimal, but I was provided with what I needed for a short stay and I got what I expected for the price (600 baht per night). A very simple breakfast consisted of toast with jam, coffee or tea, but the always smiling prepared fried eggs to my liking. That's usually seen at a lot more expensive hotels!
Relax and paradise”
Quiet, cozy and very nice small hotel with unique atmosphere. Cheap, clean, friendly. 10-15 min by walk to the heart of historical district. 1 min by walk to the 7/11 and amazing street food "Thai noodle soup" - very tasty and only 40 tb cost. It's our 14th hotel for last 2 month in Thailand and only first place where I want to stay for a long time. Highly recommend!
On general it was ok
traditional accomodation in thailand”
Quite and be cool.
Basic - you get what you pay for”
Checked in early, friendly staff at reception, free wireless Internet, and "breakfast" (white bread and jam, and a fried egg) was included even though the booking said no breakfast. But the room (fan room) was old, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was well past its end-date. I put a spare blanket under the sheet I was sleeping on for a bit of padding to protect me from the springs in the mattress! Bathroom was very basic (no soap) and the water never fully drained from the shower - so the floor was always wet. They did provide a pair of flipflops for the bathroom. TV had many channels, including some English channels. Would stay here again if I had to - but one night is enough! If staying in Ayutthaya longer and budget can afford it, I'd choose somewhere a bit nicer. If you want something cheap and adequate, then this is fine......just don't have high expectations!
Cheap - you get what you pay for”
Stayed for 1 night, and it's good if you just need a bed and a shower. Rooms were basic (no soap or toilet paper provided in our room) and bads had very hard mattresses! Despite the booking saying no breakfast, on check-in we were told breakfast is free......but it's just white bread/toast with jam, and they fried an egg for us as well! Tea and coffee too. Right on the main road after coming onto the island - so about 1.5km from the train station. No problem for tuktuks to find it - although we did use the Thai name for youth hostel as well......(baan naanaachaat). Nothing would really draw me back to this place for a holiday though! But LOVE the city of Ayutthaya and the temple ruins......I'd stay at a nicer hotel next time though.
We could not find the hotel. Even when asking people nearby, there was no way to find this place. We were unable to contact the hotel via phone. Very displeased and put out.
ayutthaya is a calm place and this hostel compliments that, the owners are super friendly and eager to practise their english with you, its not the cleanist but with a little bed sheet or towel on the bed you can get through, location isn't fantastic but most people hire bikes which makes it easier (although you have to walk 20mins to get one) overall ayutthaya is a one night stay max with two full days to sight see and for something cheap i think this place is okay (for a mid 20s easy going backpacker that doesn't mind finding used bandaids in the old sheets and red ants on the bathroom)
Cheep youth hostel”
No air con, no ice box, not even a cup. All nightlong there was endless noise from the street, from the trees. Weeping night crows, barking dogs, etc. It's location was not bad. Just across the road was stop for Bangkok bound bus. By bicycle you can visit many temples' ruins. Boat ride and visit to magnificent ruins were arranged by the hotel.
A friendly and affordable accommodation.”
Definitely affordable and my high recommendations to the staff, very well versed in providing assistance for your travel needs around Ayutthaya and buses/trains to your next destination. There is a lovely wooden wide bench good for chatting with family and friends especially during the day when its warm.
Good enough for me!”
I only used the room as a base to see the ruins and for that is was great, convienient. Rustic but that is what I am comfortable with. Staff was helpful. Not sure what else to say here as I am a man of few words and do not go on and on.
The great service staff, helpful with all questions, Patience to answer. Need more maintenance, the place so old and Need to maintenance, the water in shower No pressure and too low. So hard to take shower After the hot day.
Nice hotel and Friendly Staff.”
The Hotel is in a Central location on main road through town.
Perfect place to rest after exploring the town”
This place doubles as a hostel. Rooms were clean. The owner really friendly and helpful. Invited us to join him for his dinner. Perfect place for a one night stop over
Very basic backpacker hostel that is too expensive”
This basic hostel is located on the main road, challenging to cross, into Ayutthaya not far from the ruins. The room was clean, old towels well washed, and water pooled in the bathroom. Breakfast is basic toast, jam, tea and coffee. Staff were friendly but treated me like a walking ATM when assuring me the motorcycle taxi to Tesco Lotus was 100 baht when I knew it was half that. Overpriced for what you get as I have had cheaper lovely bungalows on the beach in other Thai tourist locations with much more provided.
Very good value”
Externally the hotel looks like a hut, internally is cozy like home. The room is clean, very ventilated, the wi-fi works well and the breakfast is convenient. The staff is helpful, kind and speak english. We had a very pleasant stay : )
I hope to see positive changes.”
That day, people came to run or support the international marathon event at Ayuttaya. Usually we know that a marathon event is started at early morning, but nobody supported guests in this hotel. So guests had to climb the high fence to go out. This may be a special case for the hotel staff, but I hope to see positive changes.
Would stay here again without question”
i was very pleased with ayutthaya place. at first arrival, you think that you might not be happy with the place but it is a wrong first impression. the owner and staff were very hospitable and the layout of the facilities was nice. there were several area that you could sit outside to drink, eat or just talk. my room was basic but clean and had everything i want in a room such as: air conditioning, cable tv, hot water and free wi-fi. the breakfast was decent, cooked to order and included toast, eggs and small hot dogs with coffee and tea available too.
