Impressive Hotel in the South”

Booked Azumi for a weekend staycation with my boyfriend. He said it's the best hotel in Manila we've stayed at so far. Even before entering the lobby, the foyer already impressed us. There were fancy seats outside the lobby that looked perfect for chilling out over some cups of coffee. The lobby was impressive, with decor that made it obvious Azumi is a boutique hotel. The interior of the entire hotel, including the sky bar, the pool area, the lobby, the restaurant etc, was remarkable. Surely the designer didn't take this job for granted. The food in the restaurant also didn't disappoint -- Filipino cuisine done right. Another notable thing about Azumi is that the prices on their menu were surprisingly affordable. This includes the price of mini bar items, cocktails on the roof deck, and food in the restaurant. To give you an idea, they sell Sola Iced Tea in the mini bar for only 50 pesos. That's the same price 711 sells it for. Anyway, the sleeping room was also spacious and exactly how it is in their pictures. I looove the bed, the sheets were thick but really light. The AC was quiet but worked perfectly. The TV was our bestfriend throughout the weekend stay because we stayed in for a TV series marathon. And of course I have to mention the pool, which was really beautiful and picturesque. The staff kept the pool experience convenient. Towels were provided as soon as we stepped in. There were seats and tables that we used for drinks, and poolside mattresses for just hanging out by the pool. The view was marvelous. The only thing I didn't like was there was no bidet spray in the bathroom. This is a big deal for me so I couldn't just not mention it. Overall, kudos to Azumi Boutique Hotel's management and staff for putting up a reputable establishment that's nothing short of amazing. We had a great stay, we will definitely stay again and we will highly recommend Azumi to our family and friends.

Excellent value over price.”

Price, Location, Accomodation

The stay was excellent! We wanted to have a peaceful, relaxing 1 day vacation in the city and we were not disappointed. Azumi Boutique Hotel was located at Alabang, where there is not much traffic; it was easily accessed via SLEX. The Hotel is very near Alabang Town Center, so you will have access to the movie house, restaurants and shopping. They also have ample parking space for their guests. The rooms were very nice, bright and very clean. It has a full sized refrigerator (not a bar refrigerator) with microwave oven. I even read that it is possible to request for a rice cooker and kitchen utensils. The rooms were not we expected for its price, it was not in anyway cheap. TV was big, air conditioning was nice, bed was very comfortable + there is a couch. Our only comment on the room was that it was only surrounded by Glass, no curtains of some sort. In conclusion I would recommend this hotel to anyone especially for its price. This was the best 1 day vacation we had in the city.

Friendly staff, great accommodation ”

Modern, Fabulous Interior, Friendly Staff

When I stayed in Azumi it was just recently 2 weeks opened. The price was very good for the stay. The rooms was clean and new. I loved the modern interior of the hotel and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Once I entered my room their was a personalized letter with my name on it which was a plus since most hotels nowadays don't take the time to do personalized letters. Made my stay very welcoming. The hotel needs a little improvement on the content in the room such as having a room service option? But take note this is a newly opened hotel so I'm sure their in the process of making it better. The room was equipped with a small kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, sink, coffee maker) which is good for business travelers or tourist. The fridge was stacked with different drinks. I would suggest coffee since their was a coffee maker but the grocery and restaurants is just a 5 minute walk literally across the hotel including one of the known malls in the area. So very convenient area. Azumi Boutique Hotel made my one night stay a pleasant one. Thank you and will surely come back when I take another vacation in Manila.

Great Location. Lovely View of Alabang”

Location, affordability, hip and modern

I stayed in Azumi right in the middle of APEC 2015 week. I found this hotel via agoda and heard wonderful reviews about the place. The location being a 5-8 minute walking distance to Molito and Alabang Town Center was what appealed to me the most. The hotel has a wonderful cafe, a nice cozy lobby and even a nail salon open till 9:30 PM. They are one of the few hotels in Manila that offer a beautiful rooftop pool & bar overlooking the city The room was clean, I had standard non Garden view room at the 8th floor. Ordered a nice room service of Grilled Cheese sandwich for breakfast and did a morning swim at the salt water pool. Some Room for improvement Pool Couches does need to be changed, when I was there the canvas couches were stained and I got a bit of an itch from sitting on them Azumi Hotel is great for a girls night out, staycation, wedding honeymoon stay. Unfortunately they dont offer rooms with double beds yet, so if you are travelling with kids or a family of 4, it will be a tight fit in one of their King or Queen Beds I will be returning again to Azumi for sure. The price, location and service was impeccable and would recommend to family and friends

Most practical staycation ever”

Azumi Boutique Hotel is the by far the most cost-effective staycation I ever had. The room was small but it was space-efficient. I liked the minimalist design; the orange hues surprisingly added to the relaxation. Perhaps it was refreshing to see. The pool experience was great too! I liked that for the first time, I experienced swimming in a pool without smelling chlorine. The staff is very kind and responds promptly. The mini bar is great too! Prices don't go overboard, unlike most hotels. Mini bar items just cost a little more than how much you would pay for them in the grocery. The location is great too! If you're the type who doesn't want to get so cooped up in your room even if you're on a staycation, Azumi is very close to Molito complex (where you have a good selection of places to eat), and Alabang Town Center. Overall, my stay with Azumi was great and we'll probably stay there again in the near future.

New hotel, good price, good service”

New and clean, large room with kitchenette, helpful staff

We just stayed for a few days with business in the area. Although I don't imagine there's much in Alabang for the tourist, Azumi is definitely the best option for someone needing to be in Alabang, who doesn't want to spend megabucks on one of the huge chain hotels. Azumi is fresh a new with a very modern feel. The staff (who seem to to be great in number) are as friendly and professional as you would find in a 5-star hotel. The queen room was larg and had a little kitchenette with sink, jug and microwave, and also a large fridge (but no cooker), so we were able to eat at home when we were busy and just needed a quick heat-n-eat snack. The pool was nice, but although we had no trouble using it, as the penthouse was not booked, it seems to "belong" to the penthosue - i.e. the penthouse rooms look out onto the pool. The Wifi was good and usually fast. We only ate room service, but the Romulo restaurant always seemed to have customers. The two cocktails I had seemed very weak. Overall, if ou have reason to be in Alabang, there isn't much better than Azumi for the price (FYI, we had 30% off the rack price on Agoda).

Perfect for Staycation!”

Location, Infinity pool, room interior design and basic amenities

It's definitely a home that resides at the heart of South! We've been here for countless of times and it never fails to amuse us with splendid experiences. What we love the most about Azumi Boutique Hotel are the well-trained and welcoming staffs, the homey interior and spacious design of the rooms, the comfy ambiance, and the complete amenities that not all cost-effective hotels cater. And on the big bonus wheels, you'll absolutely fall over heels with their infinity pool that resides at the top floor of the hotel. Yes! Feel the exciting breeze while viewing from the top the busy street of Alabang Metro! Looking for a superb staycation getaway? Azumi is absolutely one of the finest hotels that every traveler must try!

I made a great discovery with Azumi Boutique Hotel”

Nice rooms; Good location; decent facilities

I was looking for a nice place to spend a 'staycation' within the city and came across Azumi Boutique Hotel while searching online. The pictures on the website looked really nice and enticing and the price was quite reasonable so I decided to book and give it a try. Fortunately, it was impressive in actual as it was in pictures on their website. Upon check in, I noticed right away the intimate but nicely designed lobby. It photographs really well and translates to likeable social media post. Then when I got in to the room, I found it to be very neat with a minimalist design yet very modern in feel. The space is ample and has a balcony with floor to ceiling windows which provide for excellent natural lighting during the day. The restaurant serve good breakfast and also has a good and affordable menu selection for any time of day. Azumi has a scenic roof deck with a small lap pool which is fine for a quick dip or simply lazing with a drink or two. Though I really prefer to just hang in the hotel, the hotel's location is near a big commercial complex which actually give guests more dining and leisure options. All in all I had a pleasurable stay at Azumi. I recommend it if you simply want a nice and quiet place to relax in without all the extravagant frills and costs of a 5 star property.

staycation on a budget”

My wife I together with my 4 y/o daughter spent an overnight stay in this hotel although it's a bit far to where we live (Manila) travel time is a breeze since we took skyway on our way to the hotel. I would say our overall experience is a near perfect 10, since we booked our stay early in the morning on the same day, lucky for us that there still two rooms left and we grabbed it. The cleanliness and the facilities of the hotel is superb, it's like you are staying on a 5-star hotel but a fraction of the cost. They don't compromise the cleanliness for the price they offer, if you are a selfie addict you cab have your selfie post at their lobby, very relaxing. Also, the main feature of this hotel is their infinity pool at the top floor with the view of the alabang skyline (ideal is @ night time). The pool is open from 6am-12mn and it's a salt water pool that's why you need to bring a pair of goggles :) The location is strategically located adjacent to Alabang Town Center so if you need to grab something it's very convenient. Their staff are very accommodating, courteous, and very helpful. On our last day we spent a dip on their pool since it's like "swim at your own risk" kind of thing coz there's no lifeguard on duty only the receptionist. There's this 5 y/o kid who was left unattended by his parent, and apparently he went to the middle of the pool which i guess is already over his height, and you already guess what happened next, I just saw the recepionist ran towards the pool and saved the child from drowning, with his formal uniform black shoes and slacks and radio on his belt clip and wallet and cellphone he didn't hesitate to jump to that pool with his unoform still on. Thumbs up to that guy. BTW we we're on the other side of the pool chatting when this happened, we just saw the guy jumping to the pool. I would definitely comeback and stay on this hotel and also would recommend this to my colleagues. Good Job Azumi 😉

Nice, clean and very accomodating staff”

We stayed at Azumi Boutique Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days on the 9th floor. We occupied 3 queen rooms and 1 King during that time. The staff, from reception to doorman to housekeeping were all very nice. Facilities were good, unfortunately we couldn't use the pool for two days as one day was for maintenance, another day had a function. Other than that, I've got nothing bad to say, wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel is close to everything, they have a nail spa where you can have your hands or feet massaged and it's open till midnight so one night after a wedding we treated ourselves to a 45 min session of foot reflexology. The ladies in the spa were so chatty and nice! The rooms are spacious enough and beds are very comfortable. Catching taxis to the nearby malls is easy enough and if in a metered taxi going to festival mall (less than 10mins drive) it was only about 70 pesos. You could walk across the road to a Puregold supermarket or a few eateries like Jollibee, but pay extra caution when crossing the road - use the pedestrian crossing and only cross when traffic is at a standstill (doesn't take long). Ask for rooms with the view looking out to the city, it is absolutely stunning, especially from the penthouse floor where the infinity pool is. Only thing is, the hotel doesn't have a gym but it's ambience and friendly atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Weekend Staycation”

infinity pool, refrigerator, mini sofa

[11:30:24 AM] .Happy Pill.: It's a newly opened boutique hotel located at Madrigal in Alabang. We decided to get a room on this hotel since we attended a wedding at Alabang. I booked it through Agoda since the price range were so cheap. The location can easily be found and near the Madrigal entrance. The parking is located on the second floor and you had to go down the lobby to check in. It's a newly opened boutique hotel located at Madrigal in Alabang. They have a Filipino restaurant (Romulo's cafe I think) beside the lobby so you won't need to leave the hotel to get some food. The room was okay, it includes a mini sofa, big sink and refrigerator. The bathroom is small but for me it was okay. The one thing that I really like is the infinity pool on the penthouse. I could say that they got the concept in MBS in Singapore. I would really recommend it to my friends to try and will definitely stay here once again if there's a party to attend to in Alabang.

Cute clean comfortable hotel”

The staff was excellent and very friendly, the decor was very beautiful and trendy, and the shuttle service to the 3 malls in the area

PROS: I really liked the décor of Azumi. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I loved that it had hot water in the showers and that the elevators were super fast and quiet. They had shuttle service to the 3 malls in the area every 4 hours (6a,10a,2p,6p). I liked how their airport service was set up with a car service already at the airport so that if your flight was early or late, you didn't have to wait. And at a good rate too compared to prices of other airport services in the area. I liked the security on the front of the hotel and the parking garage. It made me feel safe and I got help whenever I had heavy things to carry. I liked the kitchen area with microwave and the refrigerator. I also liked the Filipino food restaurant. That is just the food I was craving. CONS: I smelled cigarette smoke at midnight one night and the maintenance guy said he smelled "kulob" and couldn't smell cigarettes and that the vents were closed. That was a bit weird because cigarette smoke is very distinct and I was told that vents in the bathrooms don’t close but he sprayed my room with Lysol and the smell didn't come back again. The infinity swimming pool on the penthouse was nice but it didn't have a security glass enclosure on the long side. Not very safe nor sanitary. Pool water splashes down to the 5th floor garden room veranda. It happened one time while I was eating breakfast outside. It was a small, if a bit icky, inconvenience. The hotel is half a block from the busy Alabang-Zapote highway that separates it from the nice quiet Filinvest area but it is nothing that an expert Manila driver (like me, haahaha) cannot handle and with their Shuttle service it is not a big issue. All in all I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to my friends.

Getting away from the city within the city”

First up, it's my very first time to use Agoda and my very first time to book a hotel EVER. So far it was a very smooth experience! hoping to have more bookings this year with you guys! Second is that, the hotel stay was truly awesome! We celebrated my spouse's birthday and our 3rd wedding anniversary here @Azumi Boutique Hotel. Majority of our stay we were not disappointed. Well mannered and great customer service, the food was great and the cleanliness was impeccable. i really love the well-lit room and the view of the city. although we did not have breakfast in our room thats fine, it did not bother us at all since they did allow to bring food from the outside. I just cant really help but to promote this hotel! and lastly just to share. i forgot my USB drive still plugged into the back of their LED tv and i just realized when we got back home. i immediately emailed the staff anf within like 1hr they replied letting me know that i could just drop by there again and pick it up! i got my usb thumb drive back with ease! we will definitely go back here over and over again! #Promoter #Verysatisfiedcustomer

Clean and cute hotel”

Points that I liked about this hotel: - really good value for money - great location; near restaurants and mall - staff is very accommodating; really efficient as it took me less than 5 minutes each to check in and check out I was there to have some good bonding time with friends (like a slumber party) and Azumi Boutique hotel was the perfect place for me and my girl friends! Too bad I was not able to check out the pool as it really seemed nice in the photos! Also, I was not able to sample food at Romulo Cafe so I can't really give a review about that.

EXCELLENT”

My husband and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary at Azumi Boutique Hotel. Hotel staff were very accommodating, facilities are nice & clean, our room doesn't have a nice view because it is being blocked by a building, but our room is very clean. Puregold/Mall is just across the street. The rooftop pool is very lovely and stunning. However, we are only allowed to swim starting 7pm til 3am because it is under renovation. So, it was very dark. (I think they should add more lights). But overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Azumi Boutique Hotel.

It's a great hotel for staycation, specially the feel of it being a Boutique hotel, it's more like a 'industrial' themed hotel, with corridors looking more like a dormitory. The room we took was surprisingly large with a nice sofa bed for an extra person (i slept there, while my wife and little boy slept in the bed). The mini bar is also stacked with grocery-priced items, so it was a plus. Rooms are clean, probably because it's still new. Romulo restaurant is a big yes for the theme of it being a boutique hotel, the food is really great! The only 'minus' to this hotel would probably be the pool area, where it's not that large and quite scary for 'praning' mommies watching over the kids take a dip. It's an infinity pool that drops right of the edge of the building. Overall, if you're looking for a bang for your buck, Azumi is really good hotel.

New clean hotel, warm staff, great price for area”

Well-priced, good location, great staff

We planned to stay at Azumi just for 2 days, then ended up staying for 6 because it was in the perfect location (near family and friends in Alabang, supermarket, mall and restaurants just across the street), had an awesome rooftop pool that we relaxed in almost every day, and the (Filipino) breakfast each morning was delicious. One thing that would've been good is a roller/privacy shade for the see-through bathroom, as it was hard to use the bathroom when we had guests (we hung towels over the shower door for privacy). We'll definitely stay at Azumi when we come back, and hope that Management will maintain the cleanliness and quality of the hotel and its staff. Great job Azumi! Thanks for the perfect stay!

Wonderful Stay”

Location was easy to find, near shopping malls, comfortable bed

Had a pleasant stay at Azumi Boutique Hotel. It just opened last jan 23, 2014. It was very clean and the ambiance at the lobby was very cozy and relaxing. Staff were friendly. I really like the fact that You need a key card in order for you to go the floor where your room is located because that is added security. They also call you in your room to let you know that you have a guest waiting at the lobby. I really like the sofa in the room. And the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had a very good sleep. Breakfast at Romulo Cafe was also good, the Tapa was delicious. I would definitely recommend Azumi to my friends and I will stay here again.

a great place for relaxation”

the mangement and staff, the bar location and the pool and the restaurant

We had another great stay at Azumi boutique hotel, and indeed the service is so overwhelming. They have a consistent good service in attending to all their customers' needs. Thank you to all the staff, they are all very accommodating. At this time, we had an opportunity to dine in at Romulo Cafe, we loved their boneless crispy pata and their pakbet with bagnet and kalkag rice is definitely worth a try. Still the bar at the penthouse is really a perfect place for chillin' out. For the management of Azumi & Romulo Cafe thank you very much for the immediate actions to all your customers feedback. For a great peaceful staycation within the city, we highly recommend this place.

Awesome”

Hotel Room, Location and Outdoor Pool

Our stay at Azumi Boutique Hotel was amazing. It didn't take long to check in. The rooms are amazing (I like that it's really modern). The staff is really pleasant (great customer service). The hotel is not far from the malls. The outdoor pool is my favorite part, the view is amazing. Me and my husband have been to a lot of hotels but we will definitely recommend Azumi Boutique Hotel. All in all, I love the hotel. ❤
