A good trip”
Rooms are clean, service is good. Internet is so so. All room with air-con. ,the price was great you won’t really care because of its price and convenience, they were treated like family, the service couldn't have been better, everything was very clean The position is great, really near the Trang Tien Bridge, within cycling/walking distance to the Imperial City of Hue.. However, I would recommend that you take a motorbike taxi (20.000 VND) if you are coming from the train station as the hotel is a distant walk away. Bicycle rental facility is provided by the hotel and I managed to rent a day (24 hours) at 20.000 VND. The hotel can also arrange for a private tour to Hue's Royal Tombs, but I am not sure about the cost as I did not take up that offer due to time constraint. You can walk around the area with many street food tasty and shopping ! Nearby Pham Ngu Lao St with many pub ! Have room for a backpacker wanting to stay

Greatest hot”
This is the first time i came to Hue and once I've got so warmly welcome from the host! :) He help me out with booking city tour by both boat and bus which is perfectly match with my short visiting time range. He's got motorbike and bike for rent too. When i left for the next destination, he drove me to the bus stop so I can catch the bus in time without taking any extra charge. I really appreciated that! Will come back next time definitely!

Great place”
I stayed here for a week during low season, so I had the dorm to myself for most of the stay! The room was nice and clean, great bathroom and even with me being the only person in the room, it was cleaned thoroughly everyday. The gentlemen running the guest house are very friendly and informative. The rooftop was great to chill out in one of the hammocks with a nice breeze and watch the sunset as well. Great place and great value!

Great place for a few days in Hue”
Extremely friendly staff and great location! Great value for an awesome stay in Hue. We rented bikes and enjoyed breakfast at the hostel each morning. We would stay here again!

Great location close to all the sights, on a shopping street, close to tour agencies”
We stayed for one night, clean double room, shower not exactly warm, wifi working. Location is great, close to everything and 10 min to the citadel. We walked from train station for about 30 min. There's a cute coffee place on the main shopping street 1 min from B&B guesthouse where you sit in a cup enjoying your drink. Staff did not speak English. Great price.

Really cheap and it shows, but good location”
We stayed here for 2 nights during our stay in Hue. Truth be told we overspent in Hoi An so to recoup some of our clothes shopping we decided to do a budget hotel. This place is really cheap. Its what you expect for the price. Rooms are old and dirty. The bed uncomfortable and questionably cleaned. I asked the front desk staff about the cleanliness of the sheets and he advised it was just old. Thats ok however, the walls and floors are really dirty. THe bathroom highly questionable. There was working wifi and it worked well. The location was really good. It was a short stroll to the main market area and river. There's plenty of food nearby( the hotel across the street sells beer for honest prices) The front desk staff were nice I suppose, but rarely seen. The front desk was mostly unmanned. We had an early evening bus to Hanoi, and I didnt trust to just leave my bags at the front if there was not going to be any staff, we just simply paid for a late check out which was about $2.50 usd, worth the piece of mind. I wouldnt say this was the worst. Ive stayed in worse and paid more. It just simple is what it is. Very cheap and you get what you pay for.

Poor Staff”
Stayed here for a day, could have stayed longer actually as I see the property as a really good place, location wise and value. However, the staff is really poor. Let me tell you my story I booked a room with free breakfast and once it was breakfast time (7.30am), nobody was even cooking. Coincidentally, I booked a tour that day for a full day, so I need leave at 8.30 am. I said to myself, never mind about the breakfast, I'll just buy outside and talk to them later since I wanted to stay one more night. 8.30am came and still no people, as much as I wanted to leave the keys to the reception, no one was there. I decided to keep my things in my room. Major security issue. After my full day tour is done at 6pm. At last, someone is there and I told him about the situation. And of course, I demanded about the breakfast. hey, I paid for it. He said he couldn't do anything for me. I was like. Wtf? I asked him how much is the.room rate without breakfast and he said it is same price

Great location and Value for money, absent staff”
Valeu for money is great. The double room was big and the bathroom was good (no hot shower though). Cleaning could be better, but not a deal breaker. Staff, however, was disappointing. They were absent, and the front desk was empty most of the time. They didn't seem very organized or professional. Still, considering the room you get for the price and location, we would stay here again.

Best value for your money”
Excellent cheap guesthouse to stay. For the price we paid we did not expect much but the place was really good. They let us take a shower after we checked out, before we took the night train. Excellent value for money!

Exceptional”
Staff at the hotel was really nice, room was clean. We forgot a camera lens at the hotel and they sent it to Hanoi by bus, where we could puck it up. Really great, we recommend this place

Great value for money”
Saw very mixed reviews, but our room was cleaned and fine. However, the air con stopped working in the middle of the night. The staff is indeed sleeping a lot and not very motivated, but they were friendly and allowed us to store our bags until 11:30 at night when we had to catch a night train.

Cleanliness.Location. Staff”
Bathrooms are shared so were not always that clean but you can't expect staff to clean every time someone has a shower leaving hair all over the floor. Staff were excellent & my room was clean. Located in the heart of the old quarter it's near the night market, restaurants bars & places of interest.

Fine, but don't expect anything remarkable”
This guesthouse is perfectly satisfactory for the price, but it's nothing special. The room was large, but a bit run down. There was a hot water heater in our bathroom, but we couldn't get the hot water to work and couldn't find any staff around when we needed it. Staff is pretty disinterested and doesn't really acknowledge your presence as you come and go; no offers of assistance or information.

Excellent for me!”
My room was so big with double bed. Room is not cool even though the electric fan is working. It doesn't matter that's enough.

Good location, friendly owner but bad hotel”
Arrived in midnight, when I came to the hotel there was no one so I had to call the number on the sign outside, the owner of the hotel picked up and said sorry because his hotel ran out of room but he forgot to lock Agoda account. He turned up 10mins later and took us to another hotel which is his friend's I guess, with the money I have paid and the photo I have seen on Agoda, the room I got was pretty bad, old, dirty, lack of facilities, and the reception staff was not really friendly. The next morning we ended up paying more money for the room as they said that room costs more than what I paid on Agoda, so I paid like 2 or 3 dollars more, it was nothing but I feel like they don't know what customer service is. The experience was unexpected but that is ok.

You get what you pay for”
For 5 dollars a night, you really can't beat the price. However, some of the rooms with a 'window' are simply ones that look out into the hallway. So, if natural light is something you require, make sure to put your request in upon arrival. Construction currently happening next door so expect to hear hammering and drilling from early morning. Lobby area is more representative of a dungeon. 20 minutes walk to the Imperial City area. Some good places to eat within 5 minutes walk of the 'guesthouse'.

Cheapest room for a reason”
Location was perfect but the room is not worth it. TV barely worked, walls were moldy, no one does house cleaning and we were not originally given the room we paid for. After several complaints and room changes we finally landed in a room that had minimal mold, a TV with 4 scratchy channels, and hot water that only lasts for 5 minutes. This place will suffice for short stays.. but if booking a week or more.. check out Hue Boutique homestay, much better option in the same price range and includes breakfast.. this place kind of sucks.

Very basic”
It's a cheap hotel, so we didn't expect much, but there are things that don't cost much and still can make your experience better... Like clean bathrooms and windows that actually close. We were there on a very cold and rainy day and in our first room (top floor) the wind was blowing through the room and rain was making everything wet. We could change our room without any problems though and got a warmer and drier one (without windows). Bed is the hard kind. Hot shower was on and off. It was nice that they allowed early check-in. Wifi was quite good, there were a lot of nice restaurants, cafés and streetfood places around - it's not the super touristy area. The citadel is like a 15 minute walk.

Dirty! Bad wifi! No sheets! ”
I am not one to leave a bad review especially with a family owned business... however, it was dirty, the soap had pubes, the bathroom shelf hadn't ever been washed. The wifi was 1 mb speed- slower than 4g and didn't work. There was a blanket provided but no sheet on the bed, we literally slept on the bed skirt which I highly highly doubt is washed between guests. Another thing to complain about is the AC can only be controlled by the super disinterested computer game playing dude. You literally have to go down to the reception to have them turn it on/off or change the temperature. Who thought of this ridiculously silly way to control an AC?
