Quiet resort far from town.”
Staff were awesome and very attentive. Room was comfortable and had lovely shower and belcony. Resort was totally empty when we were there. Looked slightly run down and noticed some rubbish about the place. Town not close enough to walk to so needed to pay for taxis if wanting anything except resort food (which was tasty). Pool being regrouted so no swimming and water in sea was too dirty.

No! ”
Don’t stay here if you want a lovely location, surroundings or any kind of service. The owners have decided to let it be managed by people who have no hospitality knowledge, they are not friendly and in the morning we were promised a breakfast at 7am as we explained in Thai that we needed to leave soon after, but even at 7.30 they were nowhere to be seen. The office was closed and no one answering the phone. We needed to check out and collect our room deposit. We eventually found where they live in a shack at the back of the property and someone came to our aid, we decided not to have the breakfast, it was too late and in any case the kitchen was dirty and disgusting. Such a shame, the rooms are ok, but everything else including the feeling here is not ok.

Great location a bit out of Ranong with amazing views over to Myanmar. Food is amazing especially the fresh seafood. Rooms are all bungalows and are clean and comfortable enough.

Great for visa run only”
Visa run only
Great location to do a visa run to Myanmar but otherwise hotel is old, bed pokey and hard, pool very dirty with nail in jacuzzi. Recommend staying in Ranong town and driving to Andaman Club for speedboat to Myanmar if your doing a visa run. Staff was friendly but not worth 1,000 baht per night!

Ranong trip 8-29-15”
AC worked good, Front desk knew English fairly well, food onsite was good & reasonable cost
I was here for a few days, about 10-15 minutes from town. Desk people Tong & O, manager could speak English fairly well, others very little. Tong was helpful with information. Very nice place, quiet & away from town, bungalows were super clean, beautiful inside. AC worked good, bed hard, I like that I slept good. Pool was clean & people were using it. Not much there for kids to play. Food was very good & plenty of it, the dining area was outside, but they gladly bring food to room, breakfast was free, just let them know what you want. Plenty of choices menu was in Thai & English. Don't expect anyone around before 8AM though. Mostly ladies around to maintain place. They did have a night security man there, but not many others there while I was. he was more for busy season times? They also have two large buildings for people to stay in other than the 30 or so bungalows. I moved the table & chair in from porch to have a table in the room. Also, had plenty of lights outside at night. They had info Maps & post cards onsite. I Did not watch TV. The "beach" area was fairly muddy in front of the resort. I would not swim in the sea there. I saw fishing boats though. Had a couple of piers near one for travel between Thai & Mynmar, ferries ran all day & night. If a storm came up late at night the power might go off a few minutes? If you want a quiet place other than birds early morning singing... great peaceful place to relax. There were close other sight seeing places within 15-60 minutes. Note they had several dogs around the place. I used Pons place Van taxi & travel agency to get to & from airport, was about 400 baht, about $11 US dollars for a 30-40 minute ride. Pons offers several things for travelers & a restaurant in town I would stay at BC again, oh the cleaning people cleaned the room every day & would provide free bottled water too. It had a very small refrigerator Ranong Airport seemed to only have Nok air providing service from Don Mueang airport in Bangkok

Isolated and Pool-less”
View, Staff was Okay and Good air condition
Pool was empty and you are on your own to find a Taxi/Ride ...( ask about a taxi, shuttle etc ) but they had nothing ....good thing my wife is Thai cause this would have been more difficult to find a ride with the language barrier !!

Lost in Translation”
Nice balcony and Isolated
This hotel is located very close to Andaman Club but don't expect them to provide transport to there or anywhere. FAR from town center and taxi not keen on picking up or taking you there. Hotel is best if you speak Burmese (Thai translate doesn't work) and arrive with a car and your own food.

Beautiful Wonderful Location”
Friendly and efficient staff, excellent location, price
This is a very quiet location, don't expect to be near the city. Simply beautiful view from the bungalow of the sea and Myanmar across the water. I was there in rainy season which is OK for me. Staff delivered breakfast to my room each morning. Lost my room key, was not charged for that, my bad. Found key when I arrived in Bangkok and immediately sent it back to BC Badin with my apologies, sent overnight. Great place for a romantic couple, which will be my next stay. I recommend it very highly. Internet spotty, but that seems to be the case everywhere, not a problem for me...

easy access to Burma and Visa”
quiet and close to Burma
I just chose this hotel because it was next door to Andamman resort which is one of two transit points to reach Burma and renew my Visa for Thailand. I was more or less alone at the hotel, the staff did not understand english very well. The breakfast was possible to eat in the restaurant but I have to wait until 7.30 before any staff showed up. To renew your Visa you will get at departure stamp at Andamman resort where the Thai immigration office are. Then use the boat (ferry) to the Burma side, enter the Burma Immigration office at the pier and get there stamp and pay 950 bath. Go back with the boat and dont forget to get the arrival stamp at the thai side before you leave this place. All in all it took me 2 hours. First transport starts at 8.45 am.

A low cost bungalow hotel for a brief stop.”
Low cost, easy to check in and reasonably comfortable.
We only stayed at the B.C. Badin Resort because according to Agoda, the nearby much smarter Blue Sky Resort "had no rooms available". We went there for dinner and discovered that there were many rooms available. I now realise that what Agoda says can be misleading. I assume the intended meaning was "there are no rooms available through Agoda". This was dissappointing as we very much wanted to stay at the other hotel and I shall be more circumspect in future when informed that hotels have no rooms available on Agoda or other similar booking websites.

Quiet and relaxing, nice view from every balcony, no English channel on the tv, so you will need a book or your own laptop, etc
