Great!
Fantastic staff and room, only one thing I could recommend is having a safe in the room. Everything else was perfect

Mixed Bag
We are generally mid-range travelers and have stayed in places ranging from $10-$65 per night in Thailand. This place was a mixed bag. I will start with the positive. The Wifi, hot water heater, and air conditioning all worked well. Also, the location was great. However, all of those things were also great in our previous $10/night stay. The decor and finishes in the room were beautiful. Fresh flowers were a nice touch. Now, the negatives. I accidentally knocked over a glass of wine that was sitting on the nightstand while we watched a movie to escape the rain. Some got on the floor, and some on the sheet. I used a towel to clean it up. When we returned from our activities the next day, there was surprise waiting for us in the lobby. The sheet and our towels from the last three days were literally displayed across chairs in the lobby with a sign that had our room number on it. HOW HUMILIATING! I asked the front desk what it was about and I apologized for my spill. I was told that the housekeeper said she couldn’t clean those linens along with several normal use towels from the past three days (They had tinted lip balm on them from washing my face….) They said we had to pay for all of them. I cleaned house for a few years while I was in college so I know that all of those things can be cleaned with some laundry detergent and maybe bleach. After a bit of back and forth, I agreed to pay for the sheet and the towel that had wine on them instead of insisting that I wash them myself. I didn’t want to waste half a day of my vacation to prove a point. Summary: The big things like the bed, AC, WIFI, and water heater were good, but also just as good in a budget homestay, apartment, or hostel that costs less. Or, spend an additional $15 per night and stay somewhere WAY BETTER. It really is convenient to stay somewhere with a restaurant / bar / coffee shop especially when it rains. This place did not have that. If you do decide to stay here, make sure you beh

Great little place!!
When we first arrived, we really liked the décor of the small reception area. Small yet cozy and full of traditional Thai artifacts. The receptionist was extremely helpful and courteous, she recommended several places for lunch, dinner and sightseeing. Our initial room did not have a working AC, but when we brought it up to the receptionist they immediately switched us to a room with a working AC. The Hotel also helped us with laundry services. The hotel also offers complimentary breakfast, and when we had to leave early for an Elephant Sanctuary, the cook even made us breakfast to go. Highly recommend anyone to stay here!!

Great little place and good location!
Stayed for 4 nights July 2017. Really helpful front desk staff - sorry didn't catch your name! But you helped us lots with organising trips etc, which was very much appreciated. When we arrived we were given the option to stay in the main hotel, or round the corner (1 min walk) in their other building. We chose the other building, even though it had no reception, as it was so close to the main hotel, but seemed newer and cleaner and quieter, despite being nearer to some building works (though this was only from about 8am - 5pm so didn't bother us as we were out). Didn't have breakfast as there seemed to be better options close by and we wanted to try different local places. This hotel is really close to the walking street market which has loads of restaurants and a great market on Sunday nights. A great stay which we really enjoyed and would stay again, thanks.

Not as advertised
The rooms with the blue hue, which are predominantly advertised, are not the rooms at the main location, where the lobby is, which is also advertised. It was deceiving to make it look like the rooms pictured and the lobby pictured were at the same property. The blue rooms are a property down the street that has no staff there, so if you wanted anything, you'd have to go to or contact the other location. Very confusing upon check-in. We ended up in the main building (brown rooms). The other way I was significantly disappointed was the cleanliness of our room. There was dust everywhere. I wiped my finger on the nightstand and was left with a patch of dust on my fingertip. Although we are very easy to please, cleanliness is the #1 requirement. I would book elsewhere, unless you are OK with a dusty room.
