Don´t look for other places, book this one! ”
We stayed one night. After having hiked Adams peak the night/morning before and before taking the early morning train to Ella the next day. This little guest house located 5 minutes to walk from the train station is absolutely a catch! We were greeted to warmly by the family. They cooked us an amazing dinner and offered to sere the breakfast (also cooked fresh in the morning) at 6 o clock as we were taking such an early train. There was supposedly hot water in the shower, though we did not use it. We stayed in a budget room which for one night was perfect! I have nothing to complain about this property. There is an amazing view to the hills and you can see Adams peak in clear weather (which we had the morning we were leaving). Most people have only a short stay in Hatton, and if you are considering staying at B.Rose house, don´t hesitate. Book it!

Definetely the best deal in Hatton, walking distance from the train and bus station, very clean rooms, comfortable mattress, super friendly and helpful landlords. Really a positive experience, highly reccomended.

Disappointing”
Simply, there are far better places in the area. The biggest disappointment was that when we were leaving we noticed that there were two other bigger rooms with queen size beds available (we were the only ones there at the time) yet they gave us the smallest room with a single size bed for two of us! On top of that, the shower dripped out hot water. Barely enough to take a half-decent shower following a long 7 hour train ride. Additionally, the had a driver for us but never advised that we had other (far cheaper) options. It was our 2nd day in Sri Lanka and would have been nice if the owners told us to take a tuk tuk to Adams peak for 2000rupees - round trip - instead of paying their guy 6000. Felt like a rip off. On top of all that, we were stuck staying a second night, since we missed the train after hiking Adams peak and the second morning they charged us for breakfast even though it said "breakfast included." All in all, go elsewhere and stay closer to the base of Adams peak anyways for ease.

Crowning jewel at Hatton”
Without doubt the owner of the property and his spouse are the top attraction of this property located in Hatton, which apparently is in Nuwara Eliya district.Both Mr.&Mrs.Raja are Indian Tamils and have a strong affinity for Indian tourists, although they are are good with every guest and carefully look after the later's need to the details.Its a wise move to stay in this picturesque guesthouse that overlooks the rolling green hills, directly in front, and travel to Nuwara Eliya for a day's visit to cover all major touristic spots there rather than book in an overpriced property and fork out precious resources on inflated costs of essentials like food and travel.Further, barring the Gregory lake and Georgian architecture of buildings there isn't much to see, as is the disappointment in every other part of Sri Lanka. However, while leaving on the way from Hatton, do drop in for a crisp cup of plantation tea in Somerset cafe at a highly reasonable price.You can purchase some packets of this hand-plucked tea along with fresh strawberry jam bottle and a plate of ice cream laced with fresh farm strawberries. You can ask for arranging the car/van hire services of Mr.Taufeeq who is a senior driver with roots from Kerala, enjoying a safe travel to Nuwara Eliya and back to the international airport in Katunayake.Unlike other tourist drivers,Mr.Taufeeq wont be stopping at the commission paying tea factory, spice garden, handicraft emporium et al. Also, the food at the guesthouse can be prepared in accordance with your taste by Mrs.Raja.You can opt for both lunch, dinner and tea at reasonable prices.There's no virtual advantage in eating out in Hatton over the homely cooked food offered by Mr.Raja.The price built-in breakfast can also be altered for continental or south Indian.A must recommend stay!

Awful staff and a hard bed! ”
When we arrived the staff was friendly, when we saw our room we tought it was okay, but the bed is hard as a rock, and there is no warm water at all! The day after we climbed adam's peak we really didn't like to go outside, and the other guests had ordered dinner at the house, so we wanted to do the same, but she said that we could eat in the city and that she was to busy. So we walked down to the city and bought some food, when we arrived we tolled the lady we wanted breakfast at 10 o'clock because our train was leaving at 11 to ella. She tolled us no and that we could take the train that left at 7! Because she needed the room at 8! We then said that we needed breakfast at 6.30, and she got angry about that, and said it was very early. (Breakfast is included in our booking). The breakfast we got in the morning was two slices of bread with honey and 2 bananas! This was a awful place and i would not recommend it to anyone!

Charming Hatton family home”
We had a perfect stay at B.Rose house. The place is run by a charming, welcoming family that made us feel at home from the first minute. The room was equipped with a double bed incl. Mosquito net and was comfortable and clean. The adjoining private bathroom room was clean and shower had hot water. The guest house is walking distance from the train station and the centre of town, but still in a tranquil area. The owners were very helpful setting up a visit to a nearby tea factory, which was excellent. The best asset was the owner's 9 year old daughter, who provided the most endearing and fun evening entertainment program. Overall I would heartily recommend this excellent guesthouse.

Great views”
This accommodation is just up the hill from the train station. It was clean and comfortable and perfect for resting prior to climbing Adams peak. The owner speaks good English and is very accomodating, dinner was cooked by his wife and it was delicious! I can't speak highly enough of the owners, it was fab!

Schone en vriendelijke accomodatie”
Zeer nette en schone kamers. Ontbijt en avondeten is erg goed! We hebben een heerlijke middag gehad op het balkon. De familie is zeer vriendelijk. Jammer dat Agoda veel van het betaalde bedrag voor de kamer achterhoud, hebben hierdoor discussie gevoerd over de kamer en uiteindelijk nog bij moeten betalen.

wifi勝手にOFFで、全く使えない。 電源をつけるように言うと、非常に嫌そうな対応。 水シャワーで昼間浴びないと気候的にきつい。 ごはんは一人５００ルピーでまぁまぁ。。。 総合的にあまりコスパはかなり悪い。

Tempat yang bagus untuk istirahat menuju delhousie”
Sampai di stasiun Hatton jam 20:00 lebih, tidak disangka ternyata di jemput tuk2 dan free (di assign oleh owner) Saat tiba di hostel disambut dengan ramah dan tempatnya bersih sekali, udaranya dingin, dan saat tiba mandi air panas, jadi bisa tidur nyenyak. Pagi hari pemandangannya bagus, terlihat Adam Peak dan disekitar hostel ada kebun teh. Sarapannya enak.

Милые и гостеприимные хозяева, сэкономили нам прилично денег своими советами. Всегда готовы помочь. Хорошая домашняя еда, хозяйка сама готовит. Все по-домашнему. Комната опрятная и чистая. Хоть и немного влажно, но это нормально для Шри-ланки. Пешком от станции идти далеко. На агоде точка местоположения не соответствует действительности. Вид из окна сейчас неочень, так как там идет стройка.
