If you travel to Suan Phung and need the cheapest rate for a room I recommend Bann Chom Jan. The accommodation not far a way from the local attractions. The resort no have restaurants but there is one opposit the resort.

Modern, clean, but bad odor in room.”

The motel was modern and had ample off-street parking. The A/C worked well. The rooms were large enough not to feel cramped. As for the cost, I have stayed at places that were of same quality but for less money, so I feel that the price was a bit high. This is a very tourist active area at times of year so the higher costs seemed to be reflected in other motels and resorts I looked into and also the restaurants were more costly to eat at. The room had a very strong chlorine odor. The first night there was terrible and I woke with a bad headache and sinus burning sensation. This cleared in about 30 minutes of leaving the room. The second night was not as bad but still the odor in the room was unpleasant and caused a headache while there again. The third and final night the headache was less and the odor had subsided somewhat. It smelled like I was sleeping by a swimming pool. There are motels on each side and one held karaoke signing at night which could be heard in the room. The TV was flat screen and high quality picture but as the army had shutdown most TV stations (May 2014) there was nothing to watch. Would I stay there again? No, unless there was some way to confirm ahead of time that they were using a non-chlorinated cleaner to do the rooms.

This hotel is quite clean. It is easy to go other place but you must have own car. Room is a bit expensive compare with location and room type.

The room was worth its price. But the breakfast was disapointing- only bread, jam, and coffee.

Only 1 night, satisfactory, slightly overpriced at bht 1,000 for this standard. The mattresses are hard as stone ! Parking needs some shade.
