Pricey but cosy”
For the price paid the deluxe room was a bit disappointing no kettle and bathroom very basic.
Terrific location at the riverside”
we were received friendly. Staff performance was good. Room was on the small side and the mattress was covered in plastic which makes for an uncomfortable sleep. If you want to spend a short night and a loooong morning lounching before you continue your trip it is recommended.
Value for money ”
Riverfront location, must have a car to get there. Good value for the money that you pay. Overall a nice stay at this hotel.
Great river hotel with friendly service”
I love staying here, the inside room (villa) is clean and big, away from noise with beautiful sunrise. The location is not really hard to find yet not too easy either. But once you note the location, you'll hardly missed it again. We're using tuk2 to explore the Maeklong area, the staff arranged them for us. Just mention the time and the place, they will do the rest for you. Or you can take the mini truck, walk about 5-8mins to reach the main road and get in to the mini truck to take you to Amphawa or Maeklong railway market Really wish the hotel will soon provide bike or bicycle for their guest
We stayed for two nights. Very clean rooms with fridge but no coffee machine. Very nice balcony/terrace which was great for watching the sunrise and sunset. There is a store on the premises that sells snacks and drinks. Also a small restaurant over looking the river. The staff were excellent. Very tranquil place and great for relaxing. If you need transport, the staff can arrange
Lovely Hotel and Excellent friendly Service.”
great location to the beach, excellent room with good amenities, lovely pool and wonderful service by all staff.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
The staff here is very friendly and nice. Fast respond for our request. And got a convenient store here.
Great location but a nightmare to find”
Traditional Thai accommodation, and really lovely people. We were really surprised though to find that after about 9.30 the owners had gone to bed and locked the security gates so we couldn't leave the property which wasn't really what we had in mind!
Riverside Rooms at a Reasonable Rate!”
baan imoun was a great place to stay! the owners, im and oun, are so helpful and offered to help us in any way we needed! we were in town for the north face race and had to be at the start by 4:30 am, and they arranged a tuk-tuk for us and several other people. the rooms are very well-kept and clean. better than most places we've stayed in thailand! we would definitely stay there again!
The best hosts!”
the place is tricky to find since there is no english sign out on the road to guide you to the street where it is located. but good thing it has a marker in google maps already so i used my gps and with the help of a few locals, we got to the hotel
great location by the maekong river”
lovely thai run hotel, right on the river. perfectly good rooms, beds maybe a little on the hard side for westerners. very clean and very helpful staff. language will only be a problem if you, as a guest, do not make the effort. hotel has a little canoe which they will let you use for a small charge. very nice thai food, recommended.
Nice and warm service. Room is clean.”
there are 7 rooms for this hotel. good for going with family. the room is clean and comfortable. room just beside the river. good for relaxing.
good view of the river view and clean ”
abit far away from the amphawa river market, need transport-taxi to transfer. hotel is clean and peaceful.
Hotel with a nice scenery”
the location is good with a nice view of the river. however, it seems the hotel staff only converse in thai. luckily my partner is a thai, so we did not experience any communication problems. the breakfast is nice. we can actually order local thai food/ noodles from the kitchen that is located outside the dining hall.
quiet clean family run hotel by the river”
Definitely a Thai oriented hotel as even the sign written in Thai script. Most other hotel guests were Thai families. I believe I was the only non-Thai. Location is great as it is in a quiet riverside community only a few km away from the Amphawa floating night market. Clean, large rooms, with AIRCON and hot water. Even a small shop selling some food items and basic needs (toothpaste, shaving cream and so on). Owners are quite helpful in setting up taxi services and taking your breakfast request. Location is a bit difficult to find on your own but show a taxi driver the Agoda confirmation with the address and you'll be fine. Would definitely stay here again!
Lovely location in tranquil setting next to lake”
Very familiar style of resort, small, maybe 10 rooms, and a delicious Thai breakfast in the morning. Neat rooms, that gave a feeling of being in the own private summer house. Highly recommendable, and well worth the price! Road description needed to find it, since the driveway is hidden.
Nice place at the river”
a bit out of the way, but when found.. a great place right on the edge of the river. more or less homestay type of accomodation (thai style hard matrass) but nice and quite. the lady who runs the place will do anything to make your stay a good one and the thai style breakfast was a good one too. amphawa market and others are closeby, do your homework before visiting about things to see or to do otherwise you will just have the river views, firefly spotting by boat can be arranged by the nice owner/lady.
nice and cozy place”
nice place to stay with a beautiful river view. room is clean the breakfast is good too
Fantastic hotel, good location”
we had a fabulous stay here at this very friendly, family run hotel, right on the river. staff spoke hardly any english but this really didn't matter, we mucked in and everyone had a smile. they are not used to (or jaundiced by) western visitors and seemed amazed and delighted that we had found them. i "caught" them giving alms to the monks at dawn a very touching experience. an absolute diamond
