Awful, from start to finish. Staff did not speak very much English. Room was awful, bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab, dirty bedding, holes in wall, fan room, bathroom was dirty, you could have a shower whilst sat on toilet. Do not stay at this hotel not worth a penny of your money

I've stayed in some pretty bad places in Thailand and this is one of the worst. We originally had a fan only room, no bigger than a cupboard and unbearably hot, sweating just sitting still, so we had to upgrade to aircon. The room was bigger and cooler, it also had holes in the walls and was full of mosquitoes. HUGE half alive cockroach on the floor and more cockroaches in the bathroom. It was smelly and you could hear RATS scratching and squeaking under the floorboards and walls. Despite there saying there was hot water, there was none. someone came to fix it, and after that there was no water at all. When it finally got fixed the water came out brown.... The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything, and I mean everything. I could hear the guy next door snoring and also going to to toilet. Lovely. Staff are nice enough, but their guesthouse needs some serious work put into it. Totally overpriced for what you get...

Amazing and friendly staff with really good english, good restaurant with beautiful view, just minute to the pier, loved relaxing area in the front, where you can just chill out, good internet also. Didn't like a room at all, old uncomfortable beds, small room, need to change everything in there...

Lovely place”

Very nice place to stay. The location is right next to pier, the ladies that run the guesthouse are very helpful and friendly. They make you relax and feel at home. We booked to stay 2 nights but liked it so much we ended up staying for 5. We did move rooms though part way through as we did not realise that the fan rooms only have cold water (the air con rooms have hot) so we moved into 1 of these rooms. The rooms are fine, could be a little cleaner and the 1st bed we had (in room number 1) was broken so sloped down in middle, but 2nd bed in air con room was very large and comfortable. There is a nice restaurant attached to the back of the building, raised above the sea looking out across the water. We did not eat here in evening as the prices were a little high, we did have breakfast however which was fine.The setting is very nice and relaxing. The whole place and decorations make you feel relaxed. There are many nice places to eat in few minutes walk from baan korakod. For the price, this is a nice place to stay and relax. It makes a great base to explore the island.

The stay in koh lanta was great”

My stay in the hotel was for only 1 night but i wouldn't even recommend it for that too much noise in the morning and you can find much better places in ko lanta not for much more money!

The nicest guesthouse I've ever stayed”

Me and my boyfriend stayed in baan korakod 11 nights over the Christmas, which we thought would be definitely too much in koh lanta what we heard from other travellers, but, nope - we even extended our stay because we loved the atmosphere and the staff in baan korakod and didn't wanna leave at the end! They made such an effort to make everyone's stay memorable, especially over Christmas. They organized free BBQ at the back terrace, fireworks, sisha, music and fishing :) All guests came together and felt like a family, we even ended up going out all together with the staff. Location is really convenient, on a small street with restaurants and little shops, the pier is just few steps away and the market area, lanta market is just 300m away. First day we borrowed korakods bush bikes, rented a scooter (200baht per day), and went to old town and beaches we were recommended by staff. All in all, if you consider yourself as a laid back person and you're looking for a warm and social experience without burning your money, this is perfect. Thank you baan korakod girls, Tecno, Ben (from States so no worries about language barrel) :) Would definitely come back some day.

Guesthouse à 20m du port, bien placé. Qui évite de devoir prendre un taxi ou un tuk tuk. Les parties communes et la façade de la guesthouse sont typiques et jolies. Cependant la chambre est très basique. Salle de bain à peu près propre (si on ne regarde pas les taches d'humidité et le calcaire...), douche froide. Une seule prise dans la chambre, ou les chargeurs tiennent à peine donc impossible d'y brancher une multi prises comme on a eu l'habitude de faire. La fenetre ne se ferme pas de l'intérieur, il y a une moustiquaire (que nous n'avons pas réussi à ouvrir) donc chambre bruyante... Le ventilateur suffit à "rafraîchir" la chambre.(enfin il permet au moins de pouvoir dormir) Le wifi fonctionne parfaitement. Ménage n'est pas fait tous les jours. (Nous sommes ici pour 5 jours, aujourd'hui c'est notre 3eme et toujours rien..) En résumé, pour le prix nous ne sommes pas déçus. Mais certaines petites choses mériteraient d'être revu.

au début on avait une petite chambre ss clim, mais avec un bébé il nous ont donné une grande chambre avec clim, très calme, ducoup nous sommes resté 1 semaine au lieu des 3 jours prévus nous avons sympatisé avec tout le personel de l'hotel, ils se sont bien occupé de nous. le mauvais coté, c'est la mer qui est dégeulasse ,pas bon pour le snorkling.point fort , l'hotel est situé à 50m de l'embarcadere
