Fantastic Place, Location and Staff”
Really Really loved this place…. You need to have a car or scooter to get along the bumpy road but that is part of the appeal for me… the beach is called “Jungle beach” and that is exactly the setting I wanted … room looked down towards the beach and I could sit on the balcony, even during the rain, and listen to the sea. Cute little beach. Hiking nearby and great foot stalls just by Naiharn lake. Staff were outstanding and I’m really looking forward to getting back there in the new year. My best friend and I went to Baan Krating wanting to experience a very relaxing space. It's near Nai Harn, Ya Nui, and Rawai beach. But the best part is the Ao Sane beach which Baan Krating have a direct access to. We are happy with the place and the staff. I just hope that there are options for more privacy in the restroom as it is built for "couple" not for a group of friends.

I booked this hotel for my mom. She liked it. Very helpful personel, very nice private location in a quiet place with a separate beach. Not minuses, but if you want to stay here, you'd better to keep this in mind: - the hotel is located far from civilization. So if you want to go somewhere, be ready to rent a bike or a car, or to use taxi. Taxi often don't like to go so far, so waiting time may be very long; - the beach is small, but good. It's mostly used by the hotel guests. But there are much stones and sharp corals not far from the shore. Better to be careful.

Very good beach for snorkeling. Very calm place (despite the cicades). Bungalows are older but staff does everything to fullfill your wishes. Coffee at breakfast could get some improvements. ;-)

My husband and I stayed here over Christmas and had to tear ourselves away. It was exactly what we needed. The staff were outstanding and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The lush landscape is so restorative and our room was lovely. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful getaway”
A little bit remote but that's what makes this hotel such a perfect getaway. The rooms are large and we had the most beautiful view from the balcony. If you're visiting Phuket for the people pleasure then this hotel may seem inconvenient but if you're there for the natural beauty & swimming & snorkeling then this hotel is right on the mark.

Great hotel for a quite holiday”
Baan Krating is a great hotel, located at the very end of a tiny road, so you can enjoy a quiet stay. The facilities are great with a beautiful pool, a nice beach and beautiful gardens . The rooms are nice with big terraces. The food is good as well and the breakfast is rather simple (but maybe due to the current situation). The staff is extremely dedicated, polite and helpful. I'd definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Spacious and nicely appointed, location wise Baan Keating has a unique charm in that you are situated along the hillside in forest yet also oceanside, retaining nice water views and access to a private beach. Do consider your daily transportation needs in and out of the hotel in accessing other parts of the island. Twice daily hostel shuttle available however the mighty scooter is one to consider given flexibility and ease of use.

Excellent value for money here. Really feels like a proper holiday nestled into the jungle and away from everything yet a short drive to restaurants and bars. Super friendly and helpful staff. My only negative is that the pool area could be better maintained and cleaned.

You couldn't ask for a better location, if you are a nature lover. However, the lack of vegetarian options at the restaurant was shocking. The fruit was unripe...the French fries way over done....and those were basically the options. They did say i could special request a meal....but, I just went and ate elsewhere. A motorbike is pretty much a must, to stay here....unless u never want to leave, which you may not.

We have some problems with our car that wooden from the tree failed down crack the glass, Manager offer breakfast while waiting insurance company and all staff helpful. The area of resort were end of Naiharn quiet and very nature. This is a recommended place relaxing after hard work.

The beach is in front of the resort where there are not many people, thus you can enjoy snorkeling and swimming like you own the beach! However, the place is a little bit old. The staffs are very friendly, and serving with great service.

Nice villa style hotel in quiet location which makes transport a little more if a challenge. Rooms quite nice but a few things showing marked deterioration (ie railings falling off high decks). Overall very nice but quite crowded.

MY REVISITING AT THIS HOTEL AFTER SEVEN YEARS APART MADE ME DISAPPOINTED. ALTHOUGH ITS PRIVATE BEACH ATTRACTED ME TO COME HERE AGAIN, BUT THE ROOM IS DECAYED AND SMELLED BAD. THE PLUMBING WATER IS SALINE AND UNUSABLE. THE BREAKFAST IS BLAND AS USUAL. I SHALL NEVER RETURN.
