After 4 nights in very crowded place in phi phi n phuket i was looking for a quite place like baan mook anda hostel. it was low season so in the hostel no one was there except me and owner's family.Its very near to saladan pier n main market.i have got nice welcoming behavior from owner n his family,descent room,good toilet n stuffs.In the morning he gave me breakfast also in free of cost although it was not included with charge. I felt like home. Its good for solo traveler ,couple n family too.I would strongly recommend this.Thanks.

Great value for money, good location”
Really enjoyed my stay at Baan Mook Anda! Its located near the pier, so easy to get to and near lots of markets and food stalls. At night the place is really quiet so orovides a good night sleep. I stayed in the 4-bedroom dorm and had the luxury I was the only one there. It's a bit dated, but clean and has an en suite bathroom. Staff is really friendly and helpful. You can rent scooters at the reception (150-200bht) and book tours. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

It's good but nothing special”
I have stayed in many hostels and when reading the good reviews on agoda about Baan Mook Anda Hostel I had high expectations. Long story short, they were not met. Don't get me wrong, the sheets and towels are clean, the outdoor area behind the house is okay, the bathroom is alright and clean, each bed has a power plug-in and a light and despite the fact that it's a 24-bed dorm, it was more or less quiet. However, the hostel has no special or homely vibe. So, Baan Mook Anda is a very basic but good budget option to stay in Koh Lanta.

Exceptional”
I stayed in the shared dorm. There are 2 sets of bunks, 4 beds total, bathroom is attached. It’s clean, quiet, and the staff is very kind and can help you with anything you need. You can also book transportation at the desk. There is free coffee and water and a refrigerator for guests. It’s located at the top of Koh Lanta (Saladan) by the ferry, convenient to restaurants, 7/11, and some street food vendors. Highly recommend!!!

Best hostel in koh lanta”
We were in low season but we still enjoyed our stay at baan mook! The dorm beds are comfy, the showers/toilets are clean and the staff is friendly. We also rent scooters from there, and it was safe and at a very low cost. ++ Free breakfast :)) highly recommend !

This Hostel is located very short distance from Saladan Pier in Ko Lanta. Guests can choose from an air-conditioned private room or a dormitory-style room with a fan. Shower facilities are in a private or shared bathroom. Free toiletries and towels are provided and you will find a lockers and a tour desk in front reception. Arrangements can be made for excursions, ferries and motorbike rental. There is free public parking nearby. Is about 20mins walk to the nearest beach. On a short stroll there are many from seafood restaurants and a convenience store 7 Eleven. Pra Ae Beach is 5 km away(Rent a Bike). WiFi access is good. A friendly owners with friendly guests staying. Pivate room is small but clean and the place is not noisy Overall, Great one!

Was in a 4 beds room, much better than 20 beds dorm. Air cond ok. Towel. Paper toilet. Snorkeling material available. Sun cream also. Good breakfast even if I'd like to have some biscuit. Basic bike to rent. Will come back to this place if I go back to Koh Lanta. Nice owner by the way.

Great hostel”
Towel is provided! I was in a dorm with fans (enough fans for everyone). Safe: you have a key to lock the room and you also have your own locker with a key provided. Soap & shampoo in the two showers. 3 toilets: all clean. Lots of things to book at the reception and scooters to rent as well. The hostel is at 30 seconds walk from the pier and 3-5min walk from a 7 eleven. Lots of restaurants on the same street. Staff is helpful! 10min drive from Long beach and probably 20min drive from klong nin beach. You can take the "pick-up car", it is the cheapest option (50bath one way for long beach). There is a common area behind the hostel: it is kind of a balcony with tables, chairs and coussins. If you walk on the road behind the hostel at night, there is a little food night market (from 16h30). You can also take cars/tuk-tuks in this area.

Perfect value for money, really close to saladan pier (less than 1 minute walking). They provide all facilities and have scooters for rent that is a really good base to start the visit of the islands. Close to supermarkets and good restaurants, I really suggest all to stay here. The staff also is available for everything and it is really kind!

Best hostel I've stayed in so far! Staff was super friendly prices for tours, motorbike renting, transportation etc. are super cheap and it's only a 2 minute walk from the pier!! Would definitely recommend you to stay there!

Great value”
The hostel was alright. You get what you paid for. The AC doesn't get turned on until the evening though so it gets pretty steamy if you're inside the room. Other than that, the staff was pretty helpful. Also, they provide a nice light breakfast in the morning!

So peaceful - super clean”
We were there during low season -thus the "peaceful" . In a dorm of 16 beds, we actually were alone (three of us). Everything is so clean, one of the first hostels in thailand that i don't look suspiciously at the bed. There are small seperations between the bunk beds, so it's rather intimate. Plus the location is perfect, 2 min away from the pier

Fantastic stay in Koa Lanta”
The Hostel was fantastic! 100 meters from the pier. 100 meters from 7-11. 200 meters from the dive shop. Great breakfast with coffee, tea. Watermelon and bananas. Toast with butter and jam. Very clean. Respectful guests. An easy walk to the beaches. Great restaurants nearby. A great place to stay!

The hostel was one of the best we had during our trip through Asia. The owner was so friendly and helpful we couldn' t wish for more he even brought us to the pier when we left! I would totally recommend this hostel😀

Pretty good ”
My first night there, the hostel lost my booking and sent me to a not-as-nice hostel for the night. After that I stayed here, and it was good. Clean, comfy beds, decent bathrooms. Good location. Fine staff.

There are free coffee, tea and the towel is free. The place is quiet, clean and very close to the pier so you dont need to pay for taxi or transport. In the same Hostel, you can to rent a motorbike and know all the island.

Decent if majorly discounted, but intensely perfumed.”
We booked our room online and it claimed to be "72% off" bringing our private room with a double bed to $14/night. When we arrived, we were relieved that we weren't paying more, as the intensely perfumed smell of the room gave both my partner and I a head-ache and was impossible to air out. There wasn't much asthetically pleasing about the rooms - they were simple but had everything you need (fan + A/C, hot water on demand, a little desk, free water). The beds were hard and the walls were thin... We had the unfortunate experience of waking up to a gentleman puking in one of the dormitories shared bathrooms down the hall and couldn't fall back asleep as it went on for the next 2 hours. I imagined the guy had closed the door behind him, but perhaps not in a drunk stupor... If he did it was hard to tell. Apart from that, the hostel is conveniently located less than a 1 min walk from the Saladin pier, for those using the island as a transit point (like us) or seek island shopping.

Affordable stay”
Affordable stay with tea, coffee, banana and toast for breakfast. You stay for the price and for it being in Saladan next to the pier. Common area is very basic and it's hard to meet people there. Reception staff isn't very friendly, helpful nor caring. Cleaning staff is friendlier, smiles, says hello and keeps the dorms clean. Tickets are more expensive here than in other places. Scooters were in good shape, 200 baht a day. Agoda offers you the best deal on this place. You won't be able to pay the same price at the desk so book it online.

Nice, clean place ”
Very close to the pier, nice and big rooms and it's was very clean, laundry service and you could rent a motorbike for a good price. It's close to many restaurants and overall a good place to stay in.
