Really big room for the money paid. Free coffee and water downstairs. Room had a balcony but the balcony had a window on one side of it which saw into another room? I'm not sure who was more surprised when I sauntered past the window, me or the half-naked guy in the room.

          Big Room, Clean and Central

Baan Nisarine at Krabi town nearby night Market and 3 minute and Morning Narket just 2 minute walk to it 4 minute Walking street Located in town. The Guest House is a 15 minutes drive from Krabi Air port and 15 minutes to Ao nang Beach . There are rooms(Mix Dorms) with shared or (Standard Room)private bathrooms, it features a tour desk and free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The rooms are simply furnished, and equipped with either a fan or air conditioning. Each room has a wardrobe and a small dressing table. The good service is friendly. My Standard Double Room are clean, big with a balcony. There is a 7 Eleven opposite the guest house. Wii works well, except some noise from the vehicles passing by because is at the main road. Good for a night transit if you are planning a trip to Koh Tao, Pahgang, phi phi or Samui. Most travel agent will pick you up there for free.

          Cleanliness, Convenience and Comfortable

Stay was absolutely pleasant. The room was spacious and had a homely feeling. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and showed us how to get around. They do not serve food but you can easily explore around the area for food. Besides, opposite the hotel was a convenience store. Great place to stay as you can easily get around Krabi Town as well as access to local transportation. You can always ask the staff for directions. Overall, we were very happy with this booking and would certainly come back again if we were to visit Krabi again.

          Extremely Good value for Money

When we first booked this hotel, we were imagining a typical dirty, small and smelly guesthouse. But to our surprise, this guest house is great. Located near to all the attractions, it is very clean, and comfortable. THe only setback is our room is located at the 4th floor and no elevator is provided. Other than that, this is the best hotel among the 4 hotels i have stayed before in Krabi in term of the value for money. My only regret is i do not tip the employee better. They deserve it.

Very friendly and helpful, cheap room rate, big rooms and amenities like 3 star hotel!

This is the best guesthouse taht I have stayed so far in Thailand. Considering the big room with nice setup and amenities, it is similar to a 3 Star hotel. Except that you have to walk up the stairs there is nothing else to complained about.

Rooms are very modern, breakfast is good

our two nights here while in krabi were very comfortable! guesthouse is 2 min walk to evening market, and central to the pier, the morning market, weekend market and vogue shopping center. the husband and wife are absolutely lovely people, very warm and welcoming. we enjoyed that it was a small guesthouse and not many others there at the time; i could see it being a little crowded when busy. breakfast was simple, tea/coffee, fruit followed by eggs and toast and something extra(maybe a salad or thai crossaint). also the tv downstairs has the fox movie channel. my only issue was the wifi signal didnt reach the room(402 i think) but i just sat downstairs to use it. we did have to get used to no fridge though! i would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone staying in krabi- it was a great deal!

clean room, nice staff, next to the market

We stayed here for a few nights whilst we were using Krabi as a hub to visit nearby beaches and islands. The hotel was very clean and the staff were really friendly. It was quite loud at night though which was disappointing. It seemed like there was a 'local' bar behind the hotel and each night we were there they seemed to start karaoke at around midnight for a couple of hours. Other than that, it was a great stay and was reasonably priced.

Family run business very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location close to the pier for boat trips and close to the night markets. Can book tours and taxis from the accommodation. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Only downside was the drain smell, however this is SE Asia so no problem. Definitely would stay again.

It is a really good guesthouse, clean and with a big lobby to drink the free coffee/tee they offer. Close to the center but not in the middle (3-5 mins walking), 7/11 in front. Wifi works perfectly, room is big, bathroom as well...I would come back!

          Above and beyond”

          good wifi connection, cleanliness, balcony

i dont expect much when i pay $5(180 baht) a night for a place to stay but this place went above and beyond my expectations. i stayed for 8 days and it was one of the best hostels ive stayed in thus far. all i ask for when i book places this cheap is a habitable environment and a decent wifi connection. i got both of these and more. the rooms were extremely clean. For the bathrooms they put mini bottles of liquid soaps after cleaning everyday. there were hooks and shelves to put your things in the shower, which is usually an issue at most hostels. there was also a toilet paper option =]. the sheets and pillows were nice. i got the bed by the balcony which was awesome. each bunk has close access to outlets and a personal light(12bed). it is located very close to the sights and night markets of krabi. there is hot water in the lobby for your noodles and tea/coffee. and the entrance is large and welcoming and there is a place to leave your luggage in case you arrive before check-in. before i booked i read reviews about the staff smoking and watching tv in the lobby, while this was true lol it didnt bother me at all. i did not feel as though i was intruding i even saw some people join them watching tv. there were plenty of places to sit and hang out downstairs and in the common areas upstairs. Baan told me where to find a cheaper ride to the airport even though they offered that service at the hostel, i felt this was very honest and kind. the staff was very nice and didnt seem to care that i hung my clothes to dry on the back balcony. the lockers for each bed had locks build in.the only complaint i have is that there is plenty of space(4floors) to offer female/male/mixed dorms yet they are all mixed dorms.

Clean room, good location, big rooms

I stayed in a big room with double bed. It was fan only, no t.v., shared bathroom but after one night having no Aircon and t.v. was quite nice and relaxing. My room had a balcony but I had no access, the access was only from the room next door. I booked 2 nights plus 1 extra. Most people it seems book one or two nights and move on. When you take time to talk to people, it's then you realise how much effort people put into making a business work. The owners of Baan Nisarine put effort and money into the building. Offer ideas and suggestions, they appreciate it.

          Great hostel”

          Nice staff, cheap, clean

Compared to other reviews, staff was quite nice actually! Yes they were smoking in the big opened common area/reception, but that was the only thing that bothered me (everyone smokes in thailand if you haven't notice). I was in a 8 beds dorm (second floor) with two fans and it was ok, the window was opened as well. They changed our bed everyday which is really nice, probably to avoid bed bugs since its humid in the room. Big bathroom with hot shower, but only one unfortunately (there's a toilet downstairs if you're in a hurry). Everyone has a little locker with its own key and you can lock the dorm as well (most of the time we kept the door opened since it's hot out there with 8 people inside). Beds aren't too hard, compared to other hostels! We did'nt have enough plugs for everyone in the room though, but you can go in the common area downstairs. Just outside the room, there are some chairs/tables, an old couch (it was ok to seat on it) and a little balcony. Free soap, free shampoo, free coffee, free wifi, pretty nice! Yes, there are some notes about what you cannot do, but it is not a problem at all. The woman from the reception was really kind, she asked me everyday how I was doing. The staff seems to be a big family that owns the hostel and I felt welcomed. Plenty tours to book! 5-10min walk from the night market and the "local bus" to go to Ao Nang beach. The bus (it's kind of a pick-up) cost 50bath one way and you can take a boat for 100bath one way to Railey beach over there. 7 eleven just in front of the hostel, on the other side of the street!!

          cleanliness, staff , location

This hostel is a bit far from where many travelers stay but close to thai local things and night market. And they clean and make bed new everyday like a hotel . the only problem in my dorm was that the door was broken so no one couldn't lock the bathroom. Hope they have already fixed it.

          staff, cleanliness, good internet

Great little hostel with a nice open common area downstairs and only a short walk away from most places in Krabi Town. Staff are really friendly and helpful and good internet. Only problem is no kitchen area or cafe/restaurant there, so if you want to cook at all then you can't. Plenty of cheap places around though. Get AC room though!! I was fortunate that my bed was directly under the fan, but I can't imagine how horrible it would be id you were in one of the beds that are completely missed by the fan (only two fans for eight beds).

I was only going to stay a couple days but ended up stayed several weeks as it was so brilliant. The staff were exceptional and just so lovely. I stayed in the single fan room, air con dorm and superior air con room, which were all great. The location is excellent, 10mins walk from the pier, night market, and the morning market. I can't fault it at all for the price. I really felt at home, relaxed and comfortable here. They even looked after my bicycle in the lobby so it didn't need to be kept on the street. If I'm in the area I would definitely use this hotel again. Thanks for making my stay so lovely :)

A bargain hotel for passing through”

          Friendly staff, good location, cheap

You get more than you pay for at Baan Nisarine, literally. Free coffee is available downstairs and there's a book exchange - though sadly it reads as though people are just stealing them. Yes it says you must drink all your coffee if you pour it but a) no one is checking and b) why pour one if you don't intend to drink it? The staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in 503, so had to climb five flights of stairs but if you go to the tiger temple those five flights will seem like nothing! The place is a little rough around the edges. We had to share a bathroom, which wasn't mentioned in the listing and came as a surprise, but it was never a problem and the Baan Nisarine had the best power shower we came across in Thailand. The location is good. Very central to what few things there is in Krabi Town (which isn't much). We walked to the night market, which a helpful staff member pointed us to, and also took a long tail to Railay from the pier just around the corner. The place is very secure. Night staff are available but the front door is also locked (you're given a key so it isn't a deadline of be home before x time or else). Room 503 is huge. The fan still reaches the bed though if you lock it in position. There are window grills to stop bugs so you can have the windows open but my girlfriend was covered in bites after night one (I was fine though). Room 503 is at the front so it is loud, busy road below. I slept but I had a broken sleep from what seemed like an all night rave a few buildings along. I'd recommend the Baan to anyone who is staying in Krabi Town. It's cheap, cheerful and has a good location. There's a 7/11 over the road but you're not allowed to eat in the rooms. There's a lot of rules but I guess the Baan is aimed at low cost travelling youngsters. thank you for a pleasant stay Baan.

          A great choice in Krabi”

          Location, cleanliness, comfy, spacious room

Baan Nisarine is a lovely, clean hotel located just a few minutes from the night market and the walking street (Monday's, Tuesday's and Wednesday's). The staff are very kind and greet you upon arrival and departure. There is a gym just up the street that only costs 100 baht for a day pass. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony. Our only complaint was that, being right off a main street, it could be noisy at night. Overall it was a great stay, and we would stay there again.
