Romantic Hideaway ”
This is such a surprise find and a lovely one at that. Rooms are small but very cozy. The room was very clean and had separate access through the garden. The hotel is in the old part of Bangkok near the Grand Palace so there is a very different atmosphere here as compared to the shopping mall on Sukhumvit. 500 m to Khao San Rd and 1.2 km to the MRT Station Sam Yot.

Lovely guesthouse!”
We had a wonderful three nights at Baan Noppawong. The house is centrally located—within walking distance of all the main sights and great restaurants—but on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were all so kind and helpful!

Home far away from home ”
Best location all the popular landmark are 10-15 min walk east to grab tuk tuk or taxi and the staff is super helpful. Highly recommended!!!!

The place is nice, as seen on the pictures. The big + is the staff which is very helpful. Even after we left the place and passed around the place, they helped us reaching our destination. we would definitly come back and for a longer time.

Charming”
Small, charming guesthouse. Simple and tasteful. Nice staff, very clean. Lovely mature garden space to sit in. Would be v.good if the property added its food and beverage angles back in—brewed coffee and breakfast. The staff said the owners had ceased that during Covid ... but a proper coffee and some fruit and pastries in the morning, on-site, would be good before you leave for the day.

i found baan noppawong because of their great reviews. this is a small place owned by a woman whose son is the architect of it. it is run by the family. even though there is plenty of new stylish hotels and guesthouses in bkk, i think we found the cutest place there is. some might not like the area around khao san road, but even then, you are a good 5 mins walk away from it, so it is nice and quiet. the only thing you hear during the night is the noise of birds singing (and maybe your aircon, but you will need that one. for breakfast there is a small buffet with coffee, tea, toast and bananas and each couple/costumer gets a plate of fresh papaya and watermelon and a plate with fried eggs, ham and sausage. book it! it is lovely!

Oasis in busy city”
We just left our 5 day stay at Baan Noppawong. Great location, walked to many sites, one block off major road for taxi, tuk tuk and Uber pickups. We added breakfast after we checked in, good value and tasty. Staff very friendly, provided recommendations for the area. Neighborhood was OK to walk in after dark as a couple. Room was small as other reviews have said but it worked for us. Overall a charming place to stay. Would stay again.

staying in this hotel -- only 7 rooms total, i believe -- has a very homely feel to it. the staff are always available, super friendly, and very accommodating. the room was very clean, bright, and comfortable to stay in. for someone looking for a spin on the typical hotel experience, i highly recommend baan noppawong.

The Baan Noppawong is hard to find as it's tucked away down a little side-street BUT it is well worth the effort as it is a beautiful little family mansion, great service, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, wonderful breakfast and the family went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It is very conveniently situated being in walking distance of Kao San Road and the Palace.

Perfect pick”
Great experience all the way! Everything was beautiful and the owner and staff were super nice and accommodating. The hotel is located in a quiet side street (off of one of the super busy main roads) near all the historical sights i had planned to see. There are also plenty of restaurants (including vegetarian!!) nearby. I highly recommend Ban Noppawong.

Lovely hotel full of character”
First night in Bangkok after a very long flight from London....what a good surprise to arrive in this lovely small hotel. The room met all our expectation: a perfect blend of traditional feature with touches of modernity. Our room with a private outdoor (but secluded) jacuzi was simply amazing. The hotel is a small (family run?) business located in the heart of the cultural Bangkok...difficult to find since located in a small hidden street but very peaceful. Highly recommended for a romantic evening in Bangkok!

Adjacent to Protests”
Please be aware that the Baan Noppawong is directly adjacent to the main area of protests occurring in Bangkok. I had to switch hotels because I was kept up to four in the morning by music being blared by the protesters. It is situated on a small alley literally one street away from the main protests, and I saw numerous protesters using the alley to relieve themselves. It's a pity, because the hotel is very well kept, and a unique, quaint experience.

Place for people who look for something different”
hotel is very near khao san road where is many restaurants and also in walk distance to many historic attractions in bangkok. the design and style of the rooms is something what is different from xxx floor hotels with xxxx number of rooms, which you will forget just few days after you leave them. most of these hotels are in business and shopping district so nothing realy to see around. instead you can have special accomodation in historic part of bangkok and stay you will not forget.

Lack of air conditioning”
The air conditioning in our Deluxe Double room was weak and the staff turned it off during the day, so both upon arrival to our room and at the end of each sweltering June Bangkok day, there was no relief to be found returning to Baan Noppawong. Our room did not include breakfast, and there was not even coffee or light refreshments provided free of charge. For a pricier guest house, we expected some more comforts.

A Wonderful Oasis in Bangkok”
A real hide away in Bangkok. Quiet location, beautiful garden with Squirrels, Butterfles and tropical birds! Authentic Thai rooms with fantastic features a real alternative to the high rise hotels and bustling city that is only 10 minutes away in a tuk-tuk. Really helped to make our stay in Bangkok someting special! Thanks to the staff for looking after us so well :)

small charming b&b style hotel”
though the hotel is within walking distance to a number of tourist attractions in a very busy area of bangkok, the hotel is located on a quiet soi. the decor is charming, the showers were great, the staff always willing and able to fulfill our requests. the only con would be the breakfast as it is limited. instant coffee. we walked over to a mccafe for a good cup of coffee. overall, i'd highly recommend this spot for it's convenience, service, and solitude.
