1 night stay at Baan Oui”

The reason why I book Baan Oui Phuket Guest House is that I just want to find a place for a night as my flight arrived at Phuket is very late and hope to find a hotel that closed with my second night hotel. As I have requested a late check in,the hosts waited for us until nearly 3 am.They were very friendly and gave a warm greetings immediately when we arrived.The room is very clean but the comfort of mattress can be improved.The location of this hotel is very closed to Naiharn Beach, it takes you nearly 15mins on foot and you will pass a beautiful lake during your walking. The hotel also provide the service of the rent of motorcycle and bicycle.There are some restaurants closed to the hotel but not so many choices,you need to walk away some distance to find more restaurant and bar.

quiet location with wonderful staff!”

We had quite an issue finding the guesthouse, as they had a different phone number. After finding it though, we were greeted by amazingly friendly staff who went out of their way to help us. Our room was very spacious with a very powerful aircon (which was needed in the Thai heat!). A minibar was available with very reasonably priced drinks, water and beer. The room was cleaned properly every day. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough. They had a bit of a problem with a wifi router so we only had internet in the main living room area, but the owners let us to use their laptop when our tablet pc's did not work on a banking website. They also suggested a lovely restaurant for our dinner date and organised a taxi to take us there and wait for us to finish our date. It was perfect! Baan Oui is a ten minute walk from the gorgeous NaiHarn beach and although it's not in the hustle and bustle of Phuket, it is certainly the place to unwind! I would definitely visit again!

Good location and friendly service”

Location: Baan Oui sits between Naiharn Beach and the main street. It takes a pleasant 10 minute walk along the lake to the beautiful beach and less than 5 minutes to shops, restaurants and bars. You can also walk to the windmill and Cape Promthep but that is a challenging 40 minutes to an hour uphill walk one way. Motorbike or taxi is recommended if you don't want to work too hard during your holidays. To find Bann Oui, look for a Kasikorn Bank ATM machine opposite Naiharn Villas. Room: Clean, spacious rooms with hot shower, safe, mini bar, coffee/tea making facility, comfortable bed and pillows and balcony. There are stairs leading to the rooms. Others: Breakfast is included. They also supply beach towels. The friendly owners and staff can organise tours and transport. If you are an animal lover, the owners have 2 dogs to keep you entertained.

Wonderful place to experience Phuket”

We had a fantastic stay in Phuket thanks to the hospitality of Oui, her husband, and the staff of Baan Oui! They spoke excellent English, even some French and German. The guesthouse itself is cozy and so charming, we felt so at ease immediately. Room and bathroom were super comfy and clean (even though we brought back sand everyday - oops)! Stable and fast wifi was also much appreciated as a modern comfort. It was great that we could rent a scooter directly from them too. So convenient and easy to go exploring!! Beautiful Nai Harn beach and the hidden Ao Sane beach were barely 5 mins away. Kata and Kata Noi are also not far away. We had lots of good local food around Chalong and Phuket Town about 20 mins away. Really this was the perfect place for people like us who wanted a relaxing un-Patong-like experience of Phuket.

Superb guest house close to beach and town”

Baan Oui is a charming guest house offering clean, spacious rooms at a very fair price. It is close to both beach and town. Owners are very interested in their guests well being. I was able to upgrade to the deluxe room with a balcony and it was well worth the price. I highly recommend Bann Oui!!!

Great Stay! Recommended!”

Stayed during the low season and there was no one else but us. Unfortunately the owners were in Bangkok visiting family and although we did encounter minor communication problems with the staff- who didnt speak English, the owners-who did, were easily reachable by telephone when necessary and always helpful with all our questions. knowing that taxis were expensive in Phuket, we conveniently rented a bike from the Guest House. Naiharn beach was a 5 minutes bike ride and Promthep cape was 8 mins. No breakfast or food as it was the low season but plenty of restaurants around. Clean rooms, fairly large bathroom and quiet environment. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful and quiet environment. Away from the hustle and bustle of Patong.

4 night escape from mainstream Phuket”

The owners and staff here are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious and clean, and i love their 2 gorgeous dogs :) The only issue with staying most anywhere in Nai Harne is the distance from the beautiful, clean beach but that is easily overcome by renting a scooter for 200 baht a day through the guest house. There is not so much traffic in the area so no need to fear. This will also allow you to visit nearby lookouts and attractions such as Promthep Cape, absolutely stunning! I'm not sure if food is available at Baan Oui, i didn't eat there, but there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance and its a quick scooter ride down to the beach to buy supplies of fresh fruit from one of the carts, breakfast at one of the ocean-view eating places or for a relaxing massage. I very much enjoyed my 4 nights of peace and relaxation, thank you Baan Oui. :)

Wonderful! Home-from-home”

we originally booked for 3 nights in a deluxe room, loved it so much, we cut short our stay in koh phi phi and returned for an additional 2 nights. the owners oui and tee are such lovely people, making you feel so much at home and most welcome! they helped us organise travel to and from phi phi, and even drove us to a place we could go snorkeling! the room was huge and spotlessly clean - and had the most amazing view of the mountains and jungle-like countryside. we loved sitting on the balcony early evening watching the sun go down. just 10 minutes walk from nai harn beach (the most gorgeous beach in phuket!) - a lovely walk passed the lake - or quite easily pick up one of the local buses that run every 10 mins or so for just 20 baht. we will most definitely be visiting again and would whole-heartedly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a relaxing location and top notch service.

The Staff Makes this Place so Worth It!”

I absolutely loved my stay at Baan Oui Guest House! The staff was highly trustworthy and reliable in making recommendations. Yes, this hotel is not right on the beach and it's a brief walk to walk to the lake, but I feel their attentiveness to my needs more than made up for the location and overall had a great experience that made my stay at Nai Harn memorable. Highly recommend!

Pleasant”

Khun Oui, the owner was very helpful and kind. She offered to dropped us off at the beach near the hotel and showed us where to get the mini bus back to the hotel and to the city. Staff we're very friendly. The room was well maintained and clean. And the Wi Fi internet was super fast and reliable. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay at Baan Oiu Phuket Guest House.

Lovely Little Guesthouse”

Chose Baan Oui on recommendation of a friend and simply loved it. The rooms were large and very clean and comfortable. The owners and staff were charming making you feel at home straight away. WiFi was free with very good speed.

Great stay! ”

We had a great stay here. We actually made a second booking (stayed longer). The beach is close and quiet. Much nicer than the main beaches. Great staff, clean rooms! The guest house had scooters available for rent. We paid about 200 baht per day for the scooter. ATM available right outside the guesthouse which was very convenient. There's also a really nice coffee shop about 5 minutes away. The guest house breakfast was simple, but very delicious! I would visit again!

location: it has a good location from nai harn beach in phuket which is the best place if you are looking a quite place to spend your time at the beach. staff: excellent!!!! they will make everything to make you feel as home. we had some issues with the reservation so there were no rooms available on our category so they offer to us an upgrade for the same price. rooms: the rooms are clean, spacious & comfortable. services: free wifi & breakfast, you could also rent a scooter, get some touristic information. price: great price !!! sleep quality: like a baby....

Small , tidy guesthouse with accommodating staff”

My stay at Oui's cozy guesthouse was pleasant. The property is new and clean, and Oui takes great care of her guests. She and her staff show genuine concern that every one enjoy his/her time there. I think the location is nice, being only 1.3 km from Nai Harn Beach or 10 minutes or so by available motorbike to the great seafood at Rawai Beach. Additionally, there are some shops and restaurants within walking distance. As a jogger, I especially liked the proximity to the lake just down the hill and adjacent to the beach. Its 2 km around the lake.

Pluses- as above - excellent staff, clean and accommodating , rooms good size, bidet, free wifi, scooters for rent on premises, restaurants and naiharn beach nearby, but beach may be a hike, free beach towel provided, tv has good number of english channels. Negatives- some rooms quiet, some face street, not girl- friendly - extra 1000baht charge. large windows make it unable to darken room for sleep in morning.

It was only a one night stay but had we not already had alternative accommodation planned, I would have seriously considered staying in this lovely little guest house for longer. It was spotless, spacious with everything in the room that you need. I thought it was lovely.

Lovely guest room”

we stayed 2 nighted in this guest house and really loved it. the staff is really friendly and helpful. the owner are nice too. peaceful environment. the breakfast is rather good but not outstanding. 15mn walk to the nai harn beach, you can borrow beach towels. however, not convenient at all if you do not have scooter because not so many tuktuk (september) and taxi are really expensive.

A GOOD WEEK”

Upon arrival I was told that I had received un upgrade, free of charge. Always nice. The trouble is it was on the road side and received direct sun making it extremely hot during the day. Asked to see another room and shown a room on the back of the house with small balcony for which I would have to pay an extra 200 baht a day. So much for free upgrade and I never saw the room that I had originally booked. Nevertheless, I accepted and had a pleasant week; room reasonable size, wall to wall windows with great view out back. No complaints. Breakfast monotonous, two eggs with ham every day. Coffee instant. Once got a great cup of non instant Staff friendly and helpful. Location: about a mile from the beach, one of the closer Guest Houses to the beach Policies: Upon arrival read policy of being charged 1000 baht for guest in room. The boss said he would turn a blind eye since I was of such good character. lol However, although I understand such policies, I do not like them and feel they infringe on my personal freedom and it is nobodies business who I may or may not bring back to the room for which I am paying a hefty sum. I am a single traveller paying for a room for two. Enough said! I will not go back for this reason but recommend the place to all.

Like staying at a friends house”

Was a very comfortable stay with very comfortable bed and pillows, very clean, quiet and close to the best beach in Phuket! The owners are fantastic and very friendly with great recommendations on where to get a great massage, places to eat etc. Was suprised there was so many things you could use for free like suncreen, filtered water, mosquito repellent and sunburn cream, which was appreciated when I got burnt on one occasion. Great value for money and highly recommended.

About 20 min walk from the beautiful Naiharn beach. Clean and comfortable hotel with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
