About Baan Pra Nond Bed & Breakfast

Built more than 70 years back, this former house of a Supreme Court Judge is an excellent place to experience living in Thai colonial architecture. This family-run hotel is close to the Surasak sky train station, making it easy for guests to access several places of interest. The business district, night market, and the Sathorn pier are all close to Baan Pra Nond. Guests can hire a boat for a private tour of the city via the river and the canals for a different experience. Despite being constructed almost a century ago, Baan Pra Nond Bed & Breakfast provides modern luxuries like wireless internet access, air conditioning, and LCD televisions. Though the hotel only provides breakfast at the restaurant, there is no shortage of places to eat a ferry or a train ride away - whichever it is that you prefer.

Not as good as expected
Lovely building. Noisy surroundings. Small room. Not comfy bed and pillows. A little too expensive for what the hotel offers. Breakfast, small portion and too sweet(we had french toast and caramelised apple). Good service, though. Overall average.

Cozzy Hotel in the Center of the city
Best hotel for the price. As soon as you walk through that metal gate, you will be greeted by a small garden. The place looks like what seems to be a traditional Thai villa which has been renovated to a hotel. It has a small swimming pool(I mean very small) and 6 rooms. The breakfasts are great and the staff are very kind and friendly. They even prepared a lunch box as I did an early check-out for departure. This is not a five-star hotel with Olympic size swimming pool and other facilities but it sure was the best hotel for money.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Food is amazing, location only a block from sky train and staff very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay there again!

My stay at the Baan Pra Nond
I really loved the cozy feeling of the place, despite of the main road outside of the villa. Once you're inside it feels like a little peace of heaven. The room was cozy and hospitality was great. Staff were wonderful. It's been a great stay overall.

helpful staff
The staffs in the hotel are very helpful and provide good suggestion as for dinning, tour and etc. The hotel is well maintained in its original deco. The only disadvantage is the noise. Being at the side of a busy road, the hotel can't keep itself from the traffic noise, even at night time.

It's a bad idea for a Chinese to select this hotel by Agoda reviewing rate. Totally a Minshuku
Location is very good, near BTS Surasak. But the facilities is just OK. Break first is very simple. A few pcs of fruit + 4pcs pan-cake. It's a bad idea to select this hotel by Agoda rate of 8.6. For me, it only get 6.0. It's totally a normal Minshuku.

Cosy B&B in Bangkok
location, staff, pool
This B&B is located in an historic residence in a great location near Silom Road and the Sangrila Hotel. This was out twelfth trip to Bangkok and we know this are quite well-easy access to the water taxis, the public skytrain, dining and shopping- you really can't ask for a much better in this huge city. The owners are very helpful and can lead to some great eats- we love dining with the locals and the rustic restaurant across the road was hog heaven for us! Pros: Location, Staff, Price, Small Pool (so hot in BKK), walking distance to BTS and the River Taxis Cons: On busy street, lots of noise but they do their best to mitigate, rooms could use an upgrade Recommended

good service, poor environment
Clerks are kind , Good breakfast, clean room
Good thing: service and breakfast was good. Clerks can speak English well. Bad thing: Environment is not good. A Highway goes right behind the house and a large road goes in front. The room I stayed has no window to open. It only has a window which cannot be opened and facing inside the building. Sun shine can't come in the room. Location is so so. Surassak station is close to walk. But, taxi drivers don't understand the B&B's location. Hard to find this place with a taxi. Overall, considering not cheap price, I would not stay this place next time.
