Good location and environment (near Tamarind market/Cicada market and Big C mini), the room has beautiful decorations but parking lot should be more to support customer in case of full booking.

Pro: Just right opposite to Cicada and Tamarind market. Ample of space on the room and clean. Room lighting is good. Con: Water heater not consistent, sometimes cold and sometimes hot. Receptionist not always on the desk and so need to call their cellphone for any request. No lift available.

Rude unfriendly staff spoils it all”
During check-in she insist on deposit, I had no change so she took THB1000 instead of THB500 & did not issue receipt. She did not give change either or explain she has no change, so I told her after I buy stuff wld return to give THB500 instead & return me THB1000. In fact, she simply insist her way with an irritated look not bothering to say more even though I cld understand abit Thai if she bothers to at least talk!! When I return in the night after dinner with the change, there was no one at the counter except a barking dog! So don’t expect any help at night if you need!! Next morning she appear so angry to be disturbed out fr sleep when it was almost 8am, and forgot I had given her 1000baht and repeatedly refused to return me till I point to the signboard saying THB500 deposit! She also says no cleaning service given “No no no no...” How cld a room costing THB3200 for 3D2N have no cleaning !? And wi-fi not working at 3rd floor but she insist again yes yes working!! What a bully!!!! So we had no choice but to sit around her counter to retrieve wi-fi messages!! The excitement of the stay closeby Tamarind & Cicada market became a real dampener with such staff experience, she is a real far cry fr the gentle polite patient Thai people that I know. If she is the boss, good luck to her business, if staff a sure turn off not worth keeping.

Lovely stay”
My family and I love the design of hotel, we can tell is new renovated. Everything in nice new condition. The oly things is even we locked the door but due to main door lobby not all the time have people, outsider can actually walk in out easily make us feel unsafe. Overall is a nice stay. We will stay again if we back hua him.

More like home stay than hotel ”
The only pro is that it is directly opp Tamarind Market. The set up of the hotel is sweet but when we flush the toilet, the water is black or yellowish. Drainage system is bad. The 2 toilets in our 2 bedrooms apartment (6 beds) stink. We checked in abt 8pm+. By the time we returned after dinner abt 10+, we realised the towels are missing, shower soap in the dispenser dried up, no toilet papers, lights in the room n toilet flicker. The young owners (believed to be a couple) were not at the reception. We tried to call them but no one answer. The main door to the hotel was not locked. No security. We only met the lady owner the next morning abt 8am before we our driver picks us up. We need to quickly tell her our needs. She can't speak simple English. When she replenished the toiletries, she gave us bar soap and only 1 toilet roll. She only left 1 roll in the whole hotel. BTW the hotel is called Vanilla Summer with no lifts. Not suitable for elderly or with young kids.

good for market lover”
If you are a market lover, this is the place. But be careful if you're having a luggage. There's no elevator, imagine carrying a big luggage to the third floor with steep steps. There's considering when a child coming with you too. I did a mistake not to read the detail of extra charge 300 Bath when booking, as I assumed that it could be the same as the others that a child ageing 0-12 staying for free if using existing bed. Here is not, it considers the height, while my 8 yrs old boy growing up than usual kids, so I ended up paying extra that almost cost me 1,400 Bath in total. It's fine if paying extra, then you'll get breakfast and extra bed. The extra bed here means a pick nick bed sheet for sleeping on the floor. The bathroom is so clean. However, considering this final price, there are some other places offering breakfast, swimming pool at the same price to think about. Parking slot is limited.

Khao Takiab Trip”
Good location although listing parking as available is not strictly correct as the only parking is street parking on a first come first served basis. Did not eat at hotel so cannot comment about food/dining.

Homely n cosy feel”
Feel great, just a bit noisy when sleeping time, should be from neighbor lot as shop terrace type, not stand alone building. Owner has 2 cute small doggies but well trained, my girl love them very much.
