Great hostel very friendly”
I was very happy with this hostel. It is close to northbridge and the nightlife and restaurants of perth. The staff were very helpful even pumping up our flat car tire for us. They hostel is clean and facilities are excellent although the dryer was not working at the time. I would visit again and would recommend to friends.

Cheap, fun and dirty”
I spent a week here but be warned it's a bit grim. Kitchen is dirty, dorm rooms are occupied by a lot of long term guests, which means they have their crap everywhere. It is however the cheapest hostel in Perth and I found the guests really cool, mostly burnouts, mostly french, with a great chill atmosphere and outdoor common area.

Good location & value for money but lack of cleanliness”
The backpacker located in Asian area where you can find various Asian eateries from Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Vietnamese etc. The staff is friendly & helpful and they clean the place maybe 2-3 times a day BUT the place is still dirty, especially the kitchen. I think it's due to the people who stay there. And I think the management must be more stricter on how the residents use the kitchen. There were kitchen utensils that were not cleaned after being used & the table near the cooking gas is very dirty and was not wiped clean enough. The table for eating is dirty too but not as dirty as the one near the cooking gas. There's good news for Muslim travelers like my friend & I. The Perth Mosque is just 3-min walk from this backpacker. So if you get roommates who are dirty & messy (like what we got), then you can always go to the mosque to pray.

Great little hostel with friendly staff. I stayed 2 months in total. Small quieter hostel but close to pubs and nightlife in northbridge.

This hostel is alot more then wath you pay for. It is very clean, cheap, have a great atmosphere. Facilities are good and it is uncomplicated to use the kitchen. It have even free coffee. You can make your laundry for only 4 AU$. In my month staying they took me and other guests to the beach for free. The staff cares alot and doing a great job. Highly recommended.

Great hostel with atmosphere ”
I enjoyed staying here the staff were friendly and it was reasonably quiet.Special mention to Terry and Myrthe for making my stay enjoyable. It was great getting free wifi. Grate location near the pubs and niteclubs of perth. Place was clean. I would come back again.

35$ a week for car park?!”
After 4 month living in 4 room bad (it's not the expensive one but even the chip one) I tried to ask a deal between me(and my car...)and the manager of the hostel for pay at least 15/20$ a week for the car park. He doesn't care,I must to pay every day 5$ for the car park,that's mean 35$ every week plus the amount of my permanence,ridiculous.

Lorenzo further to my response to your first post. I understand your frustration at having to pay for parking however the cost of $5 per day for car parking in Northbridge is extremely cheap. To park on the street it cost $2.60 per hour ($42 per day) with a restriction of only being allowed to park for 1 hour at a time with the added inconvenience of having to move your car every 60 minutes.

If you want to be bitten by bed bugs, It's a perfect place ”
Dirty, dirty , dirty! There are so many bedbugs and I was bitten everywhere. I complained about this , they said backpackers can bring the bed bugs so It's not 100% hostel's fault. They get money from the backpackers and they blame us when we command any problem. They don't pay for washing machine for laundry and medicine too ( but they said "wash all your clothes ".(I was bitten because of this hostel, I have to wash all my cloths paying 4$ per once ) It's cheap but you want to pay for bed bugs bed ? Wanna get hurt and stress ? Then It's the perfect choice. It you want to make your travel the worst then chose this ^^ you will get terrible experience with this choice. They should know If they run the hostel like this, they will lose the custmers and shut down the door. They treat the travelers as money. * there are so many mice, cockroaches. 여기 원래 한국인들 한명도 없지만 오시려고 생각하셨던 분들. 베드버그 온 몸에 물린 다음에 따지면 니가 베드버그 데려왔을수도있지않냐 라고 말하는 곳입니다. 옭넑가 완전 쓹렉기입니다 돈밝엙 몰흠ㅎ 백팩코들 때무네 먹꼬 살묜소 ㅎ;ㅎ 조심하세요.

Bedbugs, mice , cockroaches If you want to get hurt and stress, It's the best choice ^^ I was bitten by bed bugs everywhere so I complained about it, they said I had to clean and put my all stuff outside. Why do I have to pay for medichen and washing machine because of their fault. You guys think It makes sense? But hostel manager and boss they blamed us. It's possible the backpackers can bring here bed bugs. We didn't ask about who brought here bedbugs. We stayed here and was bitten and got streess and pain. It's the point. Who will compensate all of things. They are arrogant and treat us as only money It's cheap but that doesn't mean the hostel doesn't need to be cleaned. The hostel management should know if they run the hostel like this ( want to get only money and don't care of the customers ) nobody comes here and the hostel has to be shut down the door. If the hostel management has a brain , and can think They should be ashamed. Shame on you.

It's cold in the rooms and when we ask to put a heater in the bed the manager told us I don't care, if you're not happy move. The car park is 5$ per day and for the price of the room + the price of the car park you can have a better hostel with free parking. And the best, I saw a mouse in the kitchen.

5$ every day for the car park?! What hell! Plus if you don't pay every day extra 2.50$ dollar penalty...it's insane. Also the gate in the parking is always open,no video camera that makes sure is safe ecc...

Lorenzo I have noted your comments and appreciate the fact that you have been at the Hostel for close to 3 months. However you were aware at the start and throughout out various conversations while you have been staying at the Hostel that parking was $5 per day which for Northbridge is extremely cheap considering it is like $3 per hour to park on the street. As for the extra $2.50 late fee this was introduced (as I explained at the time) because you were not paying for parking when it fell due. At one stage despite our staff continually chasing you to pay you had failed to pay for the parking for close to 2 weeks. Of all the customers we have park at our Hostel you are the only one who (prior to the introduction of the late fee) was consistently late with paying for parking.
