THE place to stay in Du Gia”
This is a great place to meet new people over a great meal in a well set out garden. The host is very welcoming and really only wants you to enjoy yourself, and also went out of his way to help us with a personal crisis. The happy water was abundant:)

What a homestay should be”
We slept in a private bungalow which gave us privacy. Even though the curtains weren't fully covered. Everyone eats with eachother that evening, the perfect occasion to meet your fellow travelers. The dinner was good, drank a lot of happy wine and ate different kinds of food. When the electricity turned off due to a thunderstorm a light show was given by one of the guests. The breakfast was a lot and the price all included was very low. There aren't a lot of bathrooms for that many people, but for us that was not a big problem. We even were able to book a bus ticket back by the staff. Really recommend everyone to go there if you want a bit of fun, good food and a private bungalow.

Kind and friendly”
The staffs are so friendly and kind. They have a gathering space, billiard table, coffee/beer bar. Cleaness is the only reason that I concern, but I think it stills okay for mountain’s facilities

Central spot of town, big comfortable bed separated from others by wooden wall and courtain, so it look a little bit like small room. Nice. minus: there is no light in your "room", and i had problem with charging devices, because of spot and quality of electrical outlet.

Everything is nice except the bathrooms and toilets. Needs amelioration. I love the two helper boys, about 8 and 10 years old. Very polite.

Can be a bit noisy when there is a lot of people as all the rooms are actually in the same room so, no intimacy at all for anyone even for the double rooms Breakfast included was long to arrive but was good with 3 crepes and bananas Staff was nice and smilling There was no family dinner like the other homestay I did on the loop so it's just dinner on the menu

Hostel not a homestay”
This is a hostel not a homestay for a start. Rooms clean with hot shower, ( no a/c) owner friendly enough and can speak a bit of English, was low season so not another guest there. I was told they couldn't do a family dinner because I was the only guest and had to order off their bar menu. ( noodles and fried rice) Although the whole family had a lovely spread together pretty in home stayish in my experience. Any way don't order food. Easily one of the worst fried noodles and spring rolls I've ever had, no herbs, no veggies, no flavour no dipping sauce. Couldn't make one when I asked. Just onions and msg coated chicken in the noodles. May be a different vibe in a busy period but heaps of other options in town.

Crazy wild punk place, don't expect any quiet”
We don't have a lot options as we came early in the evening on motforbikes as the most of people there I guess. We slept in a futon on the floor which is not problem at all, the thing was the noise from the bar (people, music). Another thing was we needed to start early next morning so we got up after 6am but the owner slept til half past seven and the place was closed and our motorbikes was parked between others inside. On the others hand it was really nice he parked that inside to hide them from the rain. We asked him if we can get a breakfast and leave, he said yes but nothing happened, after another 20 minutes maybe some other lady came and asked us if we want to get a breakfast :D. The guy was still just going around doing nothing....so we actually got stuck for maybe two hours in the morning just because of his laziness or how to call it....

This was the worst place I stayed in all of Vietnam and it wasn’t close. At check in the host took our info and said he would be right back. After 20 minutes I went looking for him. He completely forgot who we were and I had to remind him we were checking in. Alright, get to the room, hurray! Now he can’t find a key for our room and we never did get one. Just left it unlocked and hoped for the best. Now we’re in the room, great! The running toilet and shower promised in the bungalow is not hooked up, let alone running. Leaving us to share 1 toilet between at least 20 people. Good times. Ok, at least we can sit on the bed and relax. BOOM, bed breaks. I shit you not!!! It just disintegrates as none of the bed’s joints have been glued or screwed together. I don’t even bother telling the host at this point. Decide to go to sleep and just sleep this shit show off. Oh wait, they hold dinners and drinking late into the evening for groups right outside the bungalows. Thank god for ear plugs. Get up in the morning. The place is gated shut with no one around. We open the roll down door ourselves with beautiful views ahead and this disaster behind us. Unless you’re an 18 year old backpacker looking to get drunk just keep biking!!! You’re better off sleeping almost anywhere else.
