Wonderful place! Great rooms and amazing facility. The courtyard was a really fun place to meet other travelers and hang out. The breakfast/dinner area is nice and the pub downstairs is a good plus. Overall an amazing place to stay!

Bargain Hotel! Great Location. Would Stay Again”
This hotel is a must if you are traveling alone or in a group of two or more. The rooms were cleaned and made up daily; also much cleaner than most friends' homes! From Jeju Airport, it was a single 80min bus ride (Limousine Bus 600) and less than a five minute walk North West of the bus stop (New Gyongnam Hotel in Seogwipo). Check in was simple, and the hotel offered a cafe, outdoor picnic area, and a basement with lots of tables, dart machines, stage, music, etc. The hotel was within walking distance of several restaurants, bars, coffee shops, orange stands/stores, and shopping. The 600 bus line was a great tool for excursions too far for walking, and taxis were also readily available and usually cost less than $5 for where we went. The hotel offered a daily breakfast (eggs, toast, cold cereal, coffee, milk, OJ) that was more than enough to get us going in the morning. The cafe offered an extended menu that would be suitable for lunch and dinner and included several "western" type meals (bagels and sandwiches), as well as coffees, teas, and beers (for those interested). Additionally, they offered an evening Korean-style BBQ that was worth the money! You were able to socialize with other guests and get an authentic Korean meal (all you can eat). The staff was great. Their English was superb, and they were very helpful in recommending excursions, restaurants, shops, directions, etc. Currently they are renovating to make the hotel even BETTER (it sounds amazing)! This was my first time in a backpacker's hotel, and from what I'm told, this is one of the great ones. I'd recommend that you stay here.

Stay Here While in Seoqwipo”
I really enjoyed my four day stay at Backpacker's Home. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The shower had great water pressure! The bunk beds had curtains for privacy which is an excellent idea. It was close to tourist activities like the cheonjiyeon waterfall and the submarine tour. Great places to eat around town as well. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

A nice place in Seogwipo”
Staying at Backpacker's Home was a highlight of my trip, as the weather was very poor throughout the weekend. The area was very quiet, and staff members were very helpful. They pointed out a nice restaurant to eat at, and helped me find the right bus to get to the Hallasan Seongpanak trail. As with all guesthouses, I recommend bringing a pair of earplugs, as you never know who will end up in your room.

good place for backpackers”
there is a cafe in the backpacker's home which allows you to plan your trip in a nice atmosphere and meet other backpackers at the point to share experience. although the staff may not have good spoken english, they are always welcome and helpful. but it would be abit noisy until midnight because of the music playing at the pub. luckily all my korean roomates are very kind and polite

Good accommodation”
5-7 mins walk from bus stop (600 bus from jeju city to seogwipo), easy to find with google map. Quite modern building with garden, coffee shop, lift and combination lock. The room is clean and comfortable. Good to have curtain and light in bed, and toilet in room. Staffs are willing to solve your problems and suggest you to go somewhere (as we planned to climb Hannasan but it was closed because of snowy weather). 25-30mins walk to Jeongbang waterfall, 새섬 새연교 and 10mins to Olle market(올레시장).

Helpful Staff. Clean Room.”
Stayed for one night at Goodstay Backpacker's Home. Rooms are clean, and the staff is very helpful with directions to nearby attractions. There is a map of good Jeju Olleh trail in the dining room. Breakfast was decent (we were late for it, but they still have some eggs and Jeju orange juice (it was awesome). They hold barbeques at night apparently. We were not there as we did not know about it and decided to eat out instead.

Nice place to stay”
Rooms were comfortable and loved how each bed had their own curtain and sockets. Would be nicer if breakfast was provided. Near to bus stops to go to other parts of the island. Good food options nearby. Recommend to stay here if staying in Seogwipo. Good place to meet other people.

Nice base for exploring Jeju ”
Rooms in the new annex are modern and clean, having 2 power sockets in your bunk bed makes recharging phone/tablet/camera really easy. Lockers are not extremely tall so a big suitcase/backpack might not fit in (but then we're in Korea so risk of theft is really low). The evening BBQ (unlimited black pork for 15000KRW) is a nice way of meeting fellow backpackers (though most people were Koreans when I was there). There is a curfew at midnight but it does not look to be enforced. 5 min away from bus stop from airport and to other parts of the island making access to the different Olle Gil sections easy (hotel is near the end of section 6, start of section 7).

Cosy feel of being home.”
It was a great stay at the Backpackers' home, it really felt like being home. We love the service of having BBQ in their yard, it was extremely cozy when we were able to just laze around, chatting with live guitar and singing with them. Definitely a place to recommend to backpackers!!
