I could not be more complementary of the Bagan King hotel. The staff was exceptionally helpful and professional. The hotel was very well appointed and clean. The rooms exceptionally comfortable. Just a 15 minute walk to the train station, but in a good part of the city. The staff was very helpful in arranging boat tickets to Bagan, making the whole process seamless. In particular the wait staff, particularly the young gentleman who served me at happy hour, was articulate, sweet, polite, and made my stay even nicer. The Hotel is fortunate to have him in their employ. The front desk staff was also, exceptional. To a person they did a great job. When I return in the future I shall stay no where else!

Great hotel with great service.”
Spent two nights here on our holidays and everything was perfect! The location is convenient for touring Mandalay and it is a walking distance to many good restaurants nearby. The entire hotel is uniquely designed, which makes us feel like staying in ancient times Myanmar. As for the room, it was clean and comfortable; the toilet is just wow. Staffs were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Best of all, they have a rooftop bar to view the entire town and free cocktails are served at a certain hour of the day. We would definitely return in the future!

This newly built four star hotel deserves a five star review. Hardwares are perfect and stylish. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds, spacious bathroom, lovely balcony for chill out, nice garden. Great breakfast with choices. But the most impressive thing is their well-trained staffs and outstanding service. I love this adorable hotel and would defiantly come back.

Quaint hotel with lots of nice extras ”
This hotel is huge in character with lots of old world decor and furnishings in the rooms but with all mod cons as well. It is well located in walking distance of the royal palace. There are great views from the bar/restaurant on the top floor - in my opinion the hotel’s greatest asset - along with the staff. Included is free snacks, free happy hour sunset cocktails and a puppet show. The bar and restaurant staff provide excellent service and the food and drinks tasty and reasonable value.

A great place to stay in Mandalay”
We started our trip in Myanmar in Mandalay and this hotel was our first experience. the stuff was great and very helpful, we asked for a double bed and when we got to the room we found 2 twin beds' after notification to the reception, our room was immediately changed to our stisfection. Breakfast and dinner are served in a beautiful terace and we enjoied the food there. The hotel is located in the center and very close to a lot of good restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel for stay in Mandalay/

Caring Staff and Excellent Rooftop Restaurant”
I was very well taken by all staff particularly the F&B staff who attended to me when I was feeling unwell. Kudos to the F&B manager and his staff including the trainee who were on duty on February 20, 2020 for dinner. The rooftop restaurant is a must-go stop for cocktails and meals - sunrise and sunset!

Good location ”
Overall the experience was good, but we were there when they are doing painting and flooring maintenance work, the “toxic smell” was super strong, gave me a big headache, lucky it almost gone at night. The place is super convenient, near food and massage, walking distance to the famous restaurant Minglabar. Grab a car to attractions are cheap.

Pros: Staff is really helpful. Shower is really hot. Nice 6th floor to have breakfast although it's almost the same fare every morning. Free tea snacks, free happy hour and puppet show is nice. Nice decor at lobby and nice room. Room has multiple multi sockets to charge your gadgets. Wifi is strong. Location is near sites and you can easily and cheaply go with Grab Thonebane (which is like a tuttut). There are convenience shops and pharmacies within walking distance. Cons: My room was facing the main road which is an intersection and every driver there honks so you can imagine. Shower doesn't have a curtain so the WC and floor is all wet. Basin is nice however, it is splashing everywhere. Location does not have many shops, restaurants or money changer.

Nice little hotel , but”
I love this stylish hotel, with every little artistic details throughout the whole building. The only criticism that I have is the bathroom. The design is so weird that the rain forest shower is right in the middle of the bathroom. Everytime you take a shower, you have to remove everything, like toilet paper , your own personal items outside of the area because it's going to be wet everywhere and very slippery afterward. And you can hear very clearly when your next door neighbor is flushing the toilet. It could be quite annoying in the middle of the night while you were sleeping. Otherwise, the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not fancy , but you will get what you need, eggs, bread, fruits and juice.....

They have the best guide in town!”
The best experience this hotel gave me was that they sent me a very good guide for my ancient cities' tour. Kyaw Ye Aung is very knowledgeable. he drives very safely. He was very friendly all the time too! Appreciate so much his passion towards his own country! He managed the time very well and he brought me to the perfect place for a perfect sunset! thank you so much :)

Very nice breakfast and staff”
The breakfast is on the top level of the hotel which you can have the city view of Mandalay. The options are decent with Myanmar food and western style food. Of course, also the fruits. The staff keep refilling the food. My husband love the fried pork with vegetables so much that he had 3 plate of it. The staff always keep an eye on what we need. We have flight in the evening, the staff even let us check out late without letting us to have any hard feelings. All and all, we recommend this hotel so much!
