Amazing place to stay in Bagan”
We stayed at the Bagan Lodge Hotel for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located not too far from the airport and within the area of all things worth seeing in Bagan. The hotel is modern, new and very good quality. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and I would stay at this hotel again anytime. The quality of F&B was good. Price wise for Bagan it was on the higher end but it is a hotel that does not disappoint and it's design blends into the local landscape and feel of Bagan that makes it a great stay.

Just Perfect!”
Married couple spent 10 days traveling throughout Myanmar. Stayed in some very nice places but Bagan Lodge was definitely the best experience. Traveled during low season and there were maybe 10 other people max staying there during our 3 day/night stay. Pools (2 of them) are perfect. Villa was very spacious and comfortable with huge bathroom for two. Spa facility and treatment were wonderful, and staff was great! Location a few minute bike ride to old and new Bagan also perfect. Shout out to Tin Tin, who was very helpful with tips and so friendly and filled with interesting information about Bagan, she having grown up there. We looked forward to our conversations with Tin Tin each night at dinner. We travel constantly for work and pleasure, and this definitely rated as one of our best experiences in south east Asia and in general.

Amazing Amenities, Luxury Feel, and the BEST Staff”
My boyfriend and I booked 10 days at Bagan Lodge. The beautiful scenery, and the staff really made our experience here worthwhile. Special acknowledgement to the Morning restaurant Supervisor (she is fantastic), Thein the chef, and Chan the table waiter, and the night manager of the hotel. Amazing hard working people! The facilities are clean and organized. We had a lovely spa experience with experienced staff. They went above and beyond to provide us with daily snacks as a little surprise in our hotel room; small touches such as these made our experience here great. Excellent housekeeping. Happy Hour 2 for 1 was a really nice perk! The only cons would be: overpriced costs to rent a ebike scooter (Rent from Nyo Nyo a few minutes away instead); Book tours outside of the hotel because transport and guides end up being much more expensive. The laundry prices were also ridiculously overpriced. I suppose some of that is to be expected as it is a high end hotel.

Bagan Lodge hotel is really special - stunning safari style rooms in beautiful grounds. Great pool and Jacuzzi and friendly staff. It is a good location just outside new Bagan so you can take a tuk tuk into town for dinner. Bagan lodge is a wonderful oasis and a great place to come home to after exploring the temples of Bagan.

Bagan Lodge Hotel surprisingly impressed us. Location was excellent. It is located along the main road in new Bagan. Not too much traffic which helped with the privacy and security. Room lodge was excellent. It felt like you were in a safari. Service by staff was excellent. Food can be better. I will definitely stay here again during our next visit.

A beautiful lodge and a beautiful garden”
A Lodge in the outskirts of New Bagan within easy reach to New Bagan & the temples. You can rent an electric scooter right there at the lobby, which is our suggested way of visiting the expansive field of temples around. We suggest hiring a guide as well. The tent-style villas are scattered around a beautiful garden setting. The entrance guides you to the front pool and around it you will see the restaurant to your left and the bar to your right. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and decorated in an elegant decor with many local touches. The bathroom is also large, with two sinks, a bathtub and a separate shower. Very comfortable. You can also relax on reclining chairs in your own front deck. We loved our room. They also have a larger pool and a jacuzzi in the back of the property in a more quiet and secluded area. The only problem is that you have to ask 4 hours in advance to heat it up. They never told us this! It was too cold for our taste, so we didn’t enjoy it much.

It was only 1 night stay and we knew already that not so much things to do after sight seeing at Bagan, so we must choose the hotel which provide very good facility for spending time in room or in hotel itself. My daughter enjoyed much the swimming pool, my wife relaxed so convinient in a cozy and big room, and I like the shower. The hotel staffs are very nice and helpful with sincere smile. I was quite surprised and happy for this level of service attitude they have. High appreciation to the Bagan Lodge !. Only one item to improve, the water smell was not fresh (little bit of soil smell).

Amazing new hotel with great service”
After visiting temples and seeing the sites around Bagan, Bagan Lodge offered a perfect end to the day. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the room is spacious and tastefully detailed. The pool never felt crowded even though the hotel was full, and the wi-fi was very fast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend the hotel and will come back any time. The breakfast brunch was great, and the restaurant was fine - but we enjoyed eating in the local establishments more.

Wished we could have spent more time in Bagan and at Bagan Lodge Resort. Beautiful resort with an array of facilities - 2 swimming pools, a great Jacuzzi pool, well-maintained gym, pool table at the lobby, etc. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with nice touches at every corner. You can tell that they take the maintenance of the resort seriously with staff up-keeping the place constantly. Would love to return to Bagan and stay at Bagan Lodge Resort the next time.

Nice international mix of staff. However mixed with a great blend of local Myanmar staff who are the majority. All the staff are professional and friendly. Great way to end the gruelling days of visiting all the great sights and Pagoda's of Old Bagan. For such a new Hotel all aspects of this stay was excellent. Well done Bagan Lodge. Highly recommended!

Great base for exploring the Bagan temples”
We were pleased with our selection.. The airport pick-up was smooth as was the early morning departure to the jetty for a cruise upto Mandalay. We liked the layout of the resort and the lodges are spacious and comfortably equipped, similar to safari lodges, with verandahs for lounging on and the shower etc at the back. We were able to walk into New Bagan and down to the river from there; we took a driver and car to Old Bagan for an evening meal and hired a driver for a tour of the temples - rather than using the available e-bikes. It is well worth visiting the Nan Myint tower for a birds eye view of the area, if a hot air balloon ride is not being taken. The restaurant, as has been written elsewhere, is perhaps the relative weak point - it is not at all bad but not memorable either. The staff were extremely friendly and proactive and helpful, whether seeing if we could use the e-bikes or helping rearrange our Mandalay cruise. In Myanmar terms, Began Lodge provides good value.

Fantastic Stay with potential to be Excellent”
We couldnt help but have a relaxing time at the Bagan Lodge. Initially this was meant to be a brief stay, but we liked it so much we extended our time here, The room was large, comfortable, well designed and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist. The pool was large and clean and a great way to cool down. The grounds are well maintained. There is something mix-matched about the design of the place, which would benefit from some further thought and consideration. It was lacking a little love (not by the staff who we commend) this is possibly a lack of direction from the owners? I recommend trying it for yourself however, as we did have an enjoyable stay!

Luxury Stay in Bagan”
We stayed at the Bagan Lodge for two nights in October. I wish our stay could have been longer. The rooms, the hotel grounds, pool area and restaurant were all lovely. The location close to some of the more interesting temples was great as well. The staff were incredibly attentive and patient in handling any request for tour, car hire and restaurant bookings. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful resort on the edge of New Bagan”
The Bagan Lodge is a beautiful hotel just a stone's throw away from the town of New Bagan. I really enjoyed the friendly welcome and the manager, Oliver, really goes out of his way to make you enjoy your stay. The room was immaculate and spacious, with a big, comfortable bed and generous seating area. There is also a large bathroom with shower and bathtub. The grounds are both immaculate and stunning. The staff are extremely pleasant, happy and welcoming. The pool in the back of the resort is not temperature controlled, so the one evening swim I attempted did not last long. The breakfast buffet was solid, but probably not quite as heavy on the Asian options as I would have liked. The internet cut out from time to time during my stay. One of the porters vacillated between being very friendly and unfriendly, which I found confusing. The reception staff were not able to understand some of my enquiries when I called from my room. All in all, a good stay.

We stayed at Bagan Lodge for three nights (Sept 2014) as a treat for my husband's birthday. The hotel definitely did not disappoint - amazing staff, spacious luxury rooms and a great pool area - perfect for cooling off after a day of sight seeing. The staff really make it - they're so friendly and helpful and even delivered a birthday cake to our door when they heard we were staying for a special occasion. The location is ok, slightly out the way but very peaceful and you need a mode of transport to get anywhere in Bagan - the hotel can arrange bikes, taxis etc. We absolutely loved this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

Fantastic, lovely stay,will stay again.......”
We have an unforgetful memory on this visit. The place is quiet with trees around but clean and tidy no insects or mosquitoes around. Wifi is available in good condition not like other places in Myanmar always very poor. Breakfast is good taste although they are not providing buffet style. Sure will stay in Bagan Lodge if we visit again Bagan.

We had three nights at Bagan Lodge using it as a base to explore the region on ebiked (hired at the lodge for $10 a day or $5 for a full day. The Lodge has a three-hour happy hour from 4-7, two pools, good free wifi, and high-quality fixtures and fittings. The food is great, too. We slept like logs in our beautiful villa. Recommended.

Exceptional”
Loved my stay at Bagan Lodge during low season (when price was cheaper). Ebikes available to rent on site. Would give staff 6 stars if I could: my ebike ran out of battery late at night on a deserted sandy road and they came within 20 minutes to pick me up.
