We’ve stayed in many guesthouse in Bali and this is easily one of the best. Very clean, comfortable, homely rooms. Best free breakfast we’ve had. Exceptional service, the family here are all lovely and you feel very welcome. Nice thoughtful touches/free extras you’ll see, they go the extra mile with everything. Definitely book an extra few nights if you are transiting to Gili Islands. Will visit Bagus Homestay again!!

Good stay for good money”
We stayed in a deluxe room. Furniture was a bit older but staff was really nice and helped is with everything. It was very clean and breakfast was very nice. Internet was quite temperamental and more a joke and right next to the homestay is a loud school or kindergarden and twice a day the muezzin „breaks“ the silence, actually it was even really annoying in the evening.

Ok for 1 night”
The bathroom, especially the toilet was dirty and the door was broken (impossible to close the bathroom door). The staff cleaned the toilet after telling them the problem! Only 1 wall socket for 2 people. The table on the terrace in front of our room was messy, full ashtray...and we had our breakfast there as well. Good for 1 night due to the very good location and the friendly staff.

Close to the port but very basic ”
This would have all been fine if the room was super cheap but in comparison to other local places it was quite pricey. We are backpacking so don’t have high expectations for places. The family who hosted us were nice, it’s super close to the port so we hardly had to walk a few hundred metres before we found it. But the location is probably the best part. The room was mouldy and small, the bathroom was really run down and old, the bed was broken, the breakfast had flies in. Not the best but fine for a few nights in transit.

Gave us wrong room and overcharged us. No hot water, aircon, flushing toilet. Did have lots of cockroaches and rats.

Sehr nettes Personal, super Frühstück und gutes wifi. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Der Wasserdruck für die Dusche ist, zumindest in dem oberen Zimmer nicht ganz so stark, was aber nicht so tragisch ist.

Perfect spot to stay before ferry to Lombok!”
Not only is the location perfect for those who want to stay prior going to Lombok but the service was excellent. We were boarding the public ferry at 3am the next day and Nuluh offered to serve our breakfast the night before so we don’t to miss out. The location was very close the the port and the facilities are basic but perfect for this staying for a short time.
