very nice clean hotel”
Bahamas Hotel is very pleasant with large no fuss clean rooms, staff are brillant very friendly and helpful anything you need to know about Belitung they are more then willing to assit. The hotel is located about 15 minute walk from the main town area, however its nice to stay at the hotel as its located direct on the beach front, beer can be bought from the Aloha night club next door after 8pm most nights.

Clean Hotel with Good Services”
The staffs are very helpful with my request for transport and extra accommodation in Belitung, they help me with finding good rentcar service, buying ferry ticket to Bangka, and providing pickup service to Tanjung Kelayang beach. The room is clean, the breakfast is simple but still nice. And the staff (including the suggested rentcar driver) are very hospitable.

On the Beach!”
THis is a nice friendly hotel, and I recommend it with a couple of caveats. They are installing a lift just now and when that is finished the upper floors will be more easily accessed. The other advice i give is that alcohol is neither served nor permitted in the rooms.

Could see that the hotel had been recently renovated, but the overall cleanliness left something to be desired. The staff were friendly and the facilities were basic.

A Great Hotel with Slow and Stupid Staff”
Actually its a really great hotel, near city center, big and clean room, beach view, nice restaurant in the beach side. But the staff was so stupid and so slow move, the wifi not working from when i was checked in until i checked out (3 days), and when i asked about the wifi problem, the staf was really really slow to response about this problem and seems so not well educated.

A quiet hotel just beside the beach”
The room is clean and comfortable, the surrounding is quiet and there's almost nothing to bother you if you just want a good rest. There's a beach at the back of hotel but the scenery is so-so. You'd better of going to other beaches which are more wonderful. The food is average but the restaurant is not smoke-free.

Not ready for peak season”
First day, the water didn't come out from shower. The hotel said that they had technical problem and resolved it right away. I stayed at my room in the hotel, at the front door, there was a leek ceiling that make it become dirty. The hotel should fix the ceiling immediately. The hotel did not have enough doormat. So when we asked for it, they gave us bath towel to use it as a doormat. Breakfast just standard, I better choose had breakfast outside, like traditional Belitung noodle.

Waste of money, no maintance, seaweed in the pool”
The beach in front of the hotel is not that nice, but that´s normal in that area. Many other hotels closeby. The hotel looks still kinda new, but no maintance at all, what a pity: When we arrived it rained, in the lobby through a whole in the ceiling. Our first room was kinda dirty and after we discovered the toilet we asked for another room. The water in the toilet looked yellow, so we flushed, but it got even more yellow and really smelled bad. I think someone already mentioned that problem here. I don´t wanna know what it was, but it is quiet disgusting so we changed the room (what was no problem). The new room was much nicer, but still not really in a good shape. Dirt on the walls, the bed sheets not that clean. The breakfast was really basic, almost no choice, but many flies. The restaurant is nice designed, but I think I stayed in backbackerhostels with better breakfast. The worst part of the hotel? The Swimming pool! The water is green, a lot of seaweed? inside. It looks disgusting and noone used it. I recommend to go to another hotel. If you pay a bit more, you get a much better standard. If you pay less, you probably still find hotels in a much better condition. Another sad example how some indonesians hotels have a nice concept/building but not maintained at all and run down really fast.

Expensive hotel room but NO WINDOW”
Our room was very disappointing as it did not have a window so felt quite claustrophobic, but the outside areas were attractive and well maintained. The pool area has a wonderful view but does need to have the surrounds upgraded to match. The restaurant provided late night dining. Only one toaster to toast bread at breakfast resulted in long queue. Breakfast just average for the hotel price.

Great Beaches, Great Island..”
It is a two or three stars hotel. but it is quite expensive, compare to the quality. A very nice untouched beach right beside the hotel restaurant, with soft waves from the sea. The Beach is so great that we could catch some crab, fish, and hermit with our hands. in the afternoon, the sea is really shallow so we could jump in there and find some dead shell..

Basic hotel, don't expect too much”
We stayed for 1 night here because Aston was fully booked on our first night there. We arrived late due to flight delay and when we got into the room it felt like sauna probably due to the heat from sunset. And the air-con is not very powerful, we felt warm the entire night. The room is quite spacious. And for such spacious room, we find the bathroom a little too tiny. Anyway, the room was full of ants so we had to watch our step while walking around the room. There is no wifi in the room. Although we were told that there was wifi in the lobby & restaurant, we were unable to connect. So be prepared to be disconnected if you choose to stay here. There is no food places nearby the hotel so make sure you eat somewhere else before heading back to hotel.
