Perfect for partying.”
We were a little disappointed with our room at first - it was fairly small and dingy, and had quite an unpleasant smell. On that same afternoon we discovered our toilet was leaking (not a great start) and they promptly upgraded us to a bungalow. This is when our stay took a turn for the better! The bungalows are gorgeous - they are rustic, but with a big comfy bed, air con, they're totally private and have a great little balcony. We stayed in a bungalow for three nights at no extra cost and had a ridiculously good time. This is the perfect place to stay if you are in Phi Phi for a weekend to party, as we were. The only thing between the bungalows and the beach is a gorgeous reggae bar, which supplies the soundtrack for a fantastic beach weekend. During the night, however, the beach bars all get cranking and the bass pumps all night, right into your little bungalow. We loved it, it was atmospheric and awesome, and by the time we fell into bed each night we didn't hear a thing. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, all bars, food and shopping are within a few minute's walk (if that). We loved our weekend at Baia Baia!

outstanding nature, nice sea view, loud parties”
we recommend to pre-book this destination online as it provides cheaper prices. within X-mass and NY holidays all the hotels are almost overbooked on Koh Phi-Phi so it becomes much more actual to have a pre-booked hotel room or bungalow before you get there. there are no cars and motorcycles on this island so the air is really pure. the food is outstanding whether it is a restaurant or simple eatery. This is one of the most beautiful islands with unforgettable atmosphere

Really at the beach”
Baia Baia is right in the middle of Loh Dalum Beach, easy accesible from Ko Phi Phi Don harbor. There are some bars and restaurants around but they are not noise after 11pm. The room was nice, but we missed some rack for accomodate our luggage and the wardrobe was full of mold, impossible to use. Overall we had a nice stay.

Right on the beach”
the staff that work here are really friendly and the restaurant serves lovely food. the prices are very reasonable too. the bungalow was good value for the money. we had a flat screen tv and air con. it was made up everyday and was really clean. baia baia is located right on the beach so you step out of your bungalow and you're on the sand. but, there are also 3 huge bars/clubs located right on the same beach, so if you're after a relaxing chilled out escape from the crowds, phi phi is not for you. they often have really loud club music playing until 2-3am. so not for those wanting an early night. so, if you can't beat em, join em.

Lovely Bungalow and great service.”
baia baia was easy to get to, just ask directions to ciao bella, or where the beach parties are held, and you will get there in no time. about 15 mins walk from the pier. after reading previous reviews about this place, i was a little worried about the cleanliness beforehand but i was pleasantly surprised when i came to a very clean and comfortable bungalow! just a few meters away from the beach! very convenient. even had wi-fi and flat screen tv in the bungalow. the light on my balcony was dead for the first 2 nights but they managed to get an electrician to come and fix it, very nice and helpful. they will clean your room every day too. but yes, it can get very loud at night because its right in the middle of the beach parties. it goes on till about 3am. all in all, i would highly recommend this place! ciao bella serves grrrreat italian food too! :)

Lovely hotel, amazing views and friendly staff.”
Only negative is that it is very noisy at night due to the beach parties - the hut was literally vibrating with the bass. So if you're not into nightlife and parties, this is not the place for you! That's the reason we went to Koh Phi Phi though so it didn't bother us.

Good Location if you want to party and not sleep.”
My husband and i stayed at the Baia Baia Resort for two nights. I had read on other reviews that it was very noisy but we still wanted to give it a chance. On our first night it was a shock as to how loud it was. The resort/rooms are in between two bars which plays extremely loud music until early hours of the morning. In the day time this place was lovely, very quiet and the restaurant at the resort serve good food and play great music to fit the mood. When we first walked in the room it smelled fresh and looked clean, however the cleanliness in the bathroom wasn't as good as it all seemed, we found a used ladies underwear in the bathroom right by the sink that had probably been left from the previous guest, everyday we found brown worms on the floor which was not very pleasant but we didn't mind too much. The bed-sheets smelled as if they hadn't been washed and had holes on it which made sleeping that just little bit difficult apart from the loud noises. We also had a few problems with the shower, the water was coming out black! not exaggerating! my husband had to go and call the staff who said they will fix it. Overall this is an ok budget hotel right in front of the beach. Great if you don't spend that much time in your room and looking for party life right at your doorstep!

Cute clean bungalows- Only for party nights!”
We had a great time at Baia Baia. It was very hard to find. We got pointed in all directions from the locals but if you ask where Caio Bella restaurant is, you wil find it! Really nice bungalow (my frends stayed in the rooms which were nice too). If you don't want to be out partying then this place isn't for you. We were out the first night and home when the music had stopped, but the following night it was impossible to sleep as the bungalow is litterally right on a beach bar ..but we knew this from the reviews so expected it!

Lovely place for heaven island”
We stayed one night at the Baia Baia hotel. It's ideally located, just a few meters from the beach, shop and nighclubs. For those who are looking a quiet place, its a bit noice because off the loud music but ideal for party lovers.

If you want to sleep..don't stay here.”
This was our second time staying at this hotel. We had stayed here about 4 years ago and it was fine. The bungalows are cute. The water in the bathroom trickles in and don't expect a fresh towel until 6 p.m. the next day, due to the outsourcing of laundry services off of the island. The location is beach front. All of this is manageable, however, in the 4 years since we've stayed here, Koh Phi Phi has built up A LOT and there is way more going on. This has made Baia Baia a horrible place to stay. At night...the tranquil beach turns into a throbbing, bass pounding, beach rave. Baia Baia is right in the middle of all of the beach clubs and party scene. We didn't sleep at all. The bass pounding, club remixes stop at 2:30 a.m. The music at the near by beach cafe, which also blasts into your room, starts at 10:30 a.m. After the first night, we asked if we could move hotels, well with pre-paid, sure, we could leave, but we couldn't get a refund. We now know why this hotel won't give refunds. If you want to sleep, you would have to leave. A lot of people must try and get refunds. We decided to buy earplugs, which did little to stop the blaring Katy Perry music at 2:00 a.m. I actually cried one night, I was so frustrated by the noise. After this, I decided to suck it up and pay for another hotel. Unfortunately, we were also there during the high season and every hotel went to was full. It was another night "sleeping" in da club. After 4 nights here, I was ready to get off of Koh Phi Phi. It's really sad that most of my time on Phi Phi was spent sleeping during the day on the beach because I hadn't slept at night. I still have a headache when I think about "sleeping" here. So...stay here...unless you want to sleep.

No hot water and pretty average room”
i was expecting a decent resort, but was disappointed. the reception was just a small table and staff weren't very helpful. outside toilet was gross, thank goodness the room toilet was better, though the hot water shower wasn't working. the room was average, but i guess we pay for what we get so we weren't complaining. brought our mosquito coil so mosquitos weren't an issue for us. but there's a safety box in the room, which i recommend you not to use. i usually don't trust safety boxes in rooms because you really don't know if the housekeeping staff have tampered with it (this has happened before to a friend in bali). but my travel partner wanted to leave our stuff there while we headed out for drinks. there were no instructions on how to use it, and when it closed, immediately locked and wouldnt open with our password. so we got the front desk lady to help us with it, she took out a box of keys, found a bunch and walked with us to our room. she used the key and opened the safe with ease saying "key in 3 numbers and an alphabet next time" and walked off... 1stly, i dont think the safety box is very "safe" if they have such easy access to it. although i am indeed thankful she had the key and we didnt have to go through a big trouble to open the safe. 2ndly, there were no instructions on how to use the safe... so... that was a shock and a good learning lesson. as most reviews will tell you, the resort is next to the crazy beach party, it really is quite loud and lasts till the wee hours of the morning. it's feels like your room is next to a club. not an issue for us as we had a few drinks, and were tired from the day of snorkelling and kayaking. we slept through the music. i'll probably try another place next time. unless you're italian, cos the owner is an italian guy who runs the restaurant, ciao bella, next to the resort and he seems to always have his rooms booked out for his italian mates.

Depends”
If you want to get really high/drunk and party all night this is perfectly located between two of the loudest bars/nightclubs on phi phi Island. If you don't think this sounds good I advise either skipping Phi Phi altogether or staying on Tonsai bay instead. Full of 1000s of drunk kids fighting and getting messed up like a college party.

Pleasant Hotel, Unpleasant Location”
Stayed in a standard room for 4 nights. Everything about the hotel is sufficient. Friendly staff, clean place, good location by the beach. Unfortunately, everything you read about the noise is correct. The bass from the nearby bars doesn't stop until 4am. I managed to sleep through it, but it did take some work. I recommend the hotel based on its quality and service, but the noise is an issue.

Nice hotel in Phi Phi”
We stayed for 6 nights. Upgraded to Bungalow chalet, it was nice location as facing directly beach and the bar restaurant, we like the view. They have own Italian Restaurant & Bar facing the beach. The hotel location is perfect as very near to go to the street shop, beach and happening area on the night, as next to the bar that having party every night. All the staff provide good customer service, we happy with them. Everything was good only the housekeeping need to be improve in term of cleaning the bathroom. We were happy to stay here, thanks.

A nice idea of a hotel but a let down otherwise”
We were 4 girls in our 20s looking for somewhere close to the nightlife and activities and we Definately got that! In the description it says you can hear club music but this literally blared in our ears as if we had a stereo on full volume inside our room Untill 3am every single morning. Our amenities were not good at all with the sink squirting all over the place, rooms short circuiting and the showers working temperamentally. The wifi was also shocking having to sit in certain areas of the room and resort to get any sort of reception and connection that continuously dropped out which sucked! Lastly the customer service was terrible, one friend was very sick so stayed in bed one of the days and so we asked the housekeeper to just drop off some towels and toilet paper so we still could use them instead of cleaning the whole room, we came back hours later and had no towels and when we asked they said sorry we are finished for the day come back in half an hour there may be more and sure enough there were no towels, it was the same story with putting in our clothes for washing, they said it'd be ready by the same time the next day but that wasn't the case, we dropped it off at 12pm but did not get it back till 6pm the next day, usually I wouldn't care but I had no clothes left to wear! It was an alright resort and I guess they did say it would be noisy but if you like sleeping comfortably just don't bother

Relax during the day, but noisy at night”
Except for the noisy night which we knew from other comments, the hotel is quite good. Nice garden - it is connect to the pub in front of the hotel, very convenient for beach swimming and drinking. Room is clean and very nice.

other reviews were correct, loud music, all night”
WARNING, this place is right in the middle of all the late night clubbing of PHI PHI, you may think that this island would be peaceful and quite, but its overrun by young kids drinking all night long with each club/bar blasting music well into the night. Music was supposed to stop at 1am, however it was going to around 4am. The hotel itself that has a bar with music, the speakers were pointed directly at out bungalow and shook our cabin. I normally am a pretty passive person, and I understand how the partying scene goes, but this was way beyond anything I have experienced. We asked the hotel to turn it down, but they said their friend was a guest DJ and he would finish his set in a few minutes, he kept going until around 12am. One perk was that he was streaming songs from the internet so I we were able to download large files to slow the internet down, thus periodically stopping the music, eventually some old 90's jams were the only songs they had on the computer, we gave in and left to find a quieter place.
