Lovely homestay with great staff”

The family which ownes the homestay was always helpful and extremely friendly! The food (breakfast, Lunch and dinner) was delicious. We had a massage which was very relaxing.

We will definitly recommend the Baifern Homestay to all our friends and family because we always felt like home and very welcome! Yot's family was heartwarming, charming and always willing to help us with any of our problems. Our room at the homestay was comfortable and very clean, with aircon and a cosy bed. In the homestay there were many possibilities to sit down, read a book and relax. Eventhough Ayutthaya didn't have that much to offer, we were glad that we came here, just because of the lovely homestay and its family!

"You feel like family"”

You feel like your part of the family. Huge wood table situated in the common area.

From the minute my girlfriend and I arrived to the Baifern Homestay, we felt like we were part of the family. Tukta and her family made our experience in Ayuthaya all the more better. Bicycle rentals were provided, and allowed us easy transportation to see the sights of the city, including the beautiful temples. The location really allowed us to get more of a feel for the Thai culture, rather than the touristy area - which was only a 8 min bike ride away. Tukta and her family took us under her wing and made us feel part of the family. We would highly recommend the Baifern Homestay, and would definitely stay there again.

A little haven”

nice quiet and very welcoming

My wife and i picked the Baifern on the reviews of other people. Ignore the bad reviews, the baifern is a wonderful little place situated within a stones throw of all the ruins and temples. The owner Tukta and her family make your stay very easy and nothing is too much for them, they help you with everything. A nice family atmosphere, and the place to unwind and acclimatise to the pace of Thailand after our flight. I would recommend the Baifern to anyone visiting Ayutthaya, just to completely relax and unwind.

An amazing stay with all the essentials plus more”

Family-run, very friendly and eager to help, generous sized rooms at low-cost, great food, english speaking

Baifern Homestay is located in a quiet area in Ayyuthaya, but this is in no way a disadvantage while travelling through the region. The hotel offers push bikes with which you have access to all of the sites, restaurants and shops within minutes. One of the most notable things about Baifern is the friendly and generous way in which the staff conduct themselves. The atmosphere is family-orientated and they're always eager not only to help but to share stories and give you a richer experience in your travels.

Lovely thaï style hotel but...”

Kindness of the people, beauty of the hotel and quality of service

Baifern hotel is a great place if you want to keep in a very quiet place in Ayutthaya and if you prefer to visit all sites by feet. Staff is lovely and helpful, food is good and my room was big and clean. This hotel is very close to the historical park of Ayutthaya but far away from any other accessories: the first 7 eleven is at 25 min walking, same for bicycles and motorbikes rentals and except for a few restaurants all the main places are at least 15 - 20 min walking. The hotel offer bicycle and motorbike rentals but they are very poor quality, whiich is really a pity for this really nice place.

Great location, lovely surroundings and the friendliest family in Thailand

we stayed in baifern for 2 nights in may. the accomodation is well placed for all the sights ayutthaya has to offer within easy walking distance. the surroundings are very comfortable and traditional despite the recent flooding. the family were welcoming and would do anything for you, the food was lovely homecooked and all areas very clean. as it was the hot season would have opted for an air conditioned room rather than a fan room.

the family that owns the baifern homestay is very sweet and goes out of their way to make sure everything is okay. the room itself (superior fan) was clean, large, and quite nice. this is a great room choice for the price. we wished we would have had an air-conditioned room and the stay would have been perfect. we would certainly stay here again,

Great location to begin temple forays!”

Clean rooms, convenient location, away from touristy town

Baifern homestay is not really a homestay - it's more like a guesthouse where you see the family in the common room. Still, lots of reasons to stay here. Good location to explore temples by bicycle. Away from main town streets so less tourists around and much quieter. Staff are friendly though if the daughter isn't around, difficult to communicate. Rooms and restaurant are immaculate.

Lovely dining/common area and garden - great place to relax after biking the whole day!

the room is simple, but clean. i felt the homestay was more of a hotel/hostel than a homestay - i didn't even really speak to the owners but to say hi. the staff, however, were helpful and recommended the "must see" wats in the city. baifern rents bikes, which is the perfect way to see the old city!

Absolutely amazing family-run homestay”

Wonderful family, bikes available to see the city

this is an amazing chance to get to know a wonderful thai family. my mother was stung by three bees in the park across the road from the homestay and the family took complete care of her; driving her to the er to be treated, waiting with us at the hospital until she was better, and then driving us back home. the next night, other homestay guests and the family played acoustic guitar, and quiet rolls on a drum kit and sang songs (beatles, rhcp, jason mraz, and thai songs) in the foyer. my mom even cooked dinner for the whole family and other guests (from japan, america, and thailand). such a wonderful and memorable time for such a great price. the rooms are clean and comfortable, but no hot water. hot water isn't necessary since it's so hot, though. free wifi and free mangoes. :)

beautiful garden, very clean rooms, staff treats you like family, good location

tukta and family were so friendly and helpful. my superior fan room was clean and comfortable, and with the screens, no mosquitoes in the room! the location is good... easy access to the ruins. the main building is done up in traditional thai style, and they are adding on a restaurant and massage service, which will make staying at baifern even nicer. the garden is lovely. wifi had a strong signal that even worked in my room.

very friendly and beautyful homestay”

relaxing garden, friendly family, self made thai food

I had a very relaxing time in baifern, and stayed two days more than planned. This family is very fiendly and welcomimg and willing to help and give recommandations. I specially enjoyed the wonderful green garden and public area to sit and read, relax and plan my stay. The best way to go to town or see the temples is by bike (10 minutes to temples) which is easy as there is not that much traffic and streets are lage. The placement is nice as you got the park and rivers just in front. But its not that practical to walk with the heat and as its not in the direct center of the town (what i enjoyed as its calm and mor fresh air). The fresh and selfmade food is delicious...

Lovely family run place”

Best hosts, very quiet, very close to the attractions

It's a bit out of town I had a hard time finding it (like I had to ask 3 times, so not that bad) but when I got there, Baifern greeted me with a huge smile. She is the daughter of the owner and they make you feel very welcome immediately. The owner is a real business woman but in a really good way. I tasted her cooking, it's amazing. As I said, the center is a bit far, about 15 minutes with a bike, but you can rent a bike here. But if you are here for Ayutthaya's sights, they start right there in front of the building. I can highly recommend it to anyone except if you want to party. But if you do, go to Bangkok. :) And free wifi.
