nice location but bad services
the bellboy / roomboy was very rude. asking directly for tip, and after i gave. he throw it away because he dissapointed with the amount.

worst stay
The air conditioner was noisy, there were tiny crocroach, old furniture, no toothbrush and toothpaste. Dark room environment with fews yellow light, dirty and few socket only. Very strict on people head count, which more than 2 people need exta bed/room. Attitude of night shift staff need to be improve. Bathtub water will leak out till toiletbowl. Overall is bad experience.

There were alot of roaches that came out to roam in the hall & toilet daily. Basically we have to exterminate around 7 roaches daily. Furniture and sofa looks worn out n stained. Tv was very small and channel was limited to only 1 with English language as the rest were in Thais. Water heater only 2 options- hot or cold. There was no way we could adjust to the center of both. Smoke detector in the room kind of keep beeping in the interval of 20secs each and makes it hard for us to sleep on the 3rd night. Safe was old key type and the lady at the lobby counter didnt even inform us that there was a deposit for it. Only found out about it when check in room and went down to the lobby again to get the set. So far its good for its location tho. Really would be a better review if the management could have tidy up the place and kind of replace all the worn out furnitures in future.

Older hotel very hard to find
If you are driving do not go here, almost impossible to find as in the middle of the clothes market. Our driver took 20 minutes to get the van from parking garage to pick us up. The hotel registration is on the 5th floor, cannot drive up to lobby. They charged us 2000 baht deposit and required IDs from all adults (had 3 rooms). While the Suite is big, it is not well set up, for example there was 1 power socket in the bedroom and that was for the lights, cannot set up phone chargers. So basically in the entire 2 room suite there is one power outlet available to use which is at the "kitchen" table. On the plus side the wife loved the shopping literally at the entrance to the hotel and all around.,

cockroach at dining table and bathroom, noisy old-style window type air-cond in bedroom, dirty window and mirror, old and bad conditions furniture, less air-ventilating and smelly bathroom, stucked bathroom's door, dark room environment with only few yellow light, periodically sounded smoke detector, slow response and not helpful staff, very strict on people head count which people more than 2 need extra bed/ room compulsory

Getting from Bad to Worst
I have stayed with Baiyoke Suite a few times, however this was the worst and will never return again. 1. You can see roaches running around. (We have booked for 2 rooms, and both rooms have roaches!) 2. Only 2 bath towels given, when asked for bath mat from housekeeping, never turn up only say ok, yes. After a few calls reception return call to check what we wanted! When informed again, the towels came only after 20-30mins later!! What worst was when i was walking out (half way showering my son), the staff just walked into our room, almost reaching our toilet!! When question why she just open our door, she walked away and then shouted in a loud tone saying she don't understand english. After calling the front desk and spoke to the manager, they made the chamber maid to apologise personally. 3. Aircon was warm and leaking! Keep complaining and nothing has been done, just came over to check, and say the compressor is old. Hence the noise etc. No room change was offered until the last day!!! Why can't they offered at the very first day when so much things has happen? I have stayed for a few times and i do not have high expectation but i do not expect roaches, warm aircon and staff walking into my room!!
