"The place is huge. The taxi driver dropped us off at Bldg 5 and it was a half-mile walk to bldg. 1. The room was clean in general, but the pillow and sheet smells a little, possibly due to the humidity of the area. But the hallway really smells, like the dumpster of a Chinese restaurant. The other drawback is the hotel locates in the middle of nowhere. It's right at the foot of Baiyun mountain, but far to the entrance of the tourist area. The surrounding area is still under development. To walk to the nearest subway station, we had to walk through muddy road. There are a few restaurants within the hotel, but they are all pricy, comparing to places in the city. We ate at one of them and the food was not good. Overall, this is an OK hotel, convenient and generally clean. I can forgive the pricy food and the little trouble in getting around from there."
