Amazing stay”
We stayed 2 nights. Clean, quite new hotel. Higher up above town, great view from balcony/ roof top restaurant. The woman owner went out of her ways to satisfy our needs: a huge bag breakfast for our bus ride to Moni, set up scooters and the Moni bus…. She is amazing, ahead of the game, planning, generous, wow. In our last 3 months of travel she is the best so far. Fully recommended.

Accommodation with heartfelt hospitality in Bajawa”
We stayed 3 nights at Bajawa Roo Hotel over the New Year period. Our hosts, Moses, Shree and daughter Sandy made us feel very welcome. They helped us rent a motorbike and also organised a very good private taxi to Ende. They had a local map and lots of suggestions on where to visit around Bajawa. The views from the hotel of Mt Inerie was stunning. We also had great views of the fireworks on NY Eve which made it all the more special. We would highly recommend staying at Bajawa Roo!

Excellent place and very friendly”
Moses and his wife were incredibly friendly and helpful. We a last minute booking and arrived on New Year’s Eve, there were no restaurants open in town but they kindly cooked dinner for us. Lovely place to stay.

Nice place”
We like Bajawa Roo. The staff were very nice and Friendly. The food just so so they seemed to run out very quickly. 15 min walk into town centre but this made it a quieter stay. Rooms were clean and bed comfy. We were able to hire a motor bike here for the day

Quiet”
Quiet location away from city center but just a pleasant walk to restaurants. Balconies are a plus. Owner who helps guests plan an interesting time in bajawa. The hotel would not be accessible to physically challenged travelers. Good hot water, no fan or a/c. Cool mountain air is pleasant. Poor WiFi. Large rooms. Farthest hotel from mosque speakers.

Just like home ”
Without a doubt the best place we have ever stayed in indonesia . This is a family run business and the family are all wonderful , so cheerful honest and helpful. The owner Moses was very kind and helped us a lot . We had a bad time in Ruteng with people trying to rip off tourists all the time so it was a relief to meet Moses and his family and ask them for info on tours etc and get clear honest information and advice. We actually ended up doing a tour with the owner because we really wanted to learn something rather than just be taken to places and we didnt regret it , the tour was fantastic. My partner had a bad flu during our stay and Moses”s wife was very sweet and brought him some medicine . We booked 1 night initially but ended up staying 3. I really feel this place was our home away from home and will genuinly miss them and their great hospitality . The food in the restaurant was great also , especially the fried chicken ! Sad to leave !

Very good”
Good hotel, a little more expensive than the guesthouses on the main street, but for the extra price you get a comfortable bed, a big room and a little balcony. Wifi worked well on the third floor. Recommended.

Great elevated views from the edge of town”
The owners and staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was really comfortable with a hot water shower and shared balcony with great views. More great views from the top floor restaurant. Free water refill. It's a little out of town so easier if you've got your own transport. The mosque is quite loud.

Very good”
Room was great and spacious. It was connected to a shared balcony. It was a bit far from the town. No restaurants around. Probably not that far away, but it was so dark outside, kinda scary to walk. Your only option was to order from the hotel kitchen. But food was basic and very expensive (spent 100K for only 2 bowls of instant noodles and 1 fried rice!).

Great view over the city”
It’s located about 1 km off centre but on a foothill which commands great views over the city and surrounding. Breakfast was great, staff and boss very friendly and my room at the top floor was terrific. Very happy and will come back.
