Baler Sunrise Inn is located in the city, it is 5-10 minutes away from Sabang beach which is what we expected. We decided to stay in after we arrived and went to Sabang beach the next day instead. The room is very big since we got the Family room and we are just a couple. It is nice and clean. We didn't expect much since it was just 700+ pesos for a night. There are few stores nearby though so we had to walk towards the highway to look for a bakery shop for breakfast. Overall, we had a great time staying in this hotel. 😊

Our family (we are 16) stayed there for 2 days 1 night and I can that we are really satisfy in the service they provide: 1 . Staffs are friendly and they grant our request. They have concern to our children that they chose to gave us Room 1 and 2 to ensure we don't need to go up and down the stairs and we are just near the communal area for preparing of foods, eating and night drink for relaxation. 2. Rooms are spacious, we arrange 1 for all boys and 1 for all girls. 3. They have water refill cost only 50 pesos . You dont have to bring water from your province to Baler haha! They also have stove and ref cost only 200, you can cook all your meal in their kitchen. 4. Sabang beach is just 8-10 minutes away. 5. Air conditioning was great and comfort room, both were cleaned and spacious. All in all, KUDOS Baler Sunrise Inn. Thank you and till next time!

Clean and spacious rooms and very accommodating staff”
We we're supposed to stay on October 15-16, but we opted to move our Baler trip on October 29-30 due to typhoon Karen. The staff (Kuya Sam) was very accommodating and re-scheduled our stay without any hassle. Upon arrival he let us choose which room to stay in. The rooms were very spacious and clean. It was enough for 4 people but there were only the two of us. The air conditioning was not very effective though and there was no water heater. It was a little far from the town center or the beach but it will only take about 5 minutes by tricycle to get either location. They also offered a tour package of Baler via a tricycle and was very flexible enough to stretch our tour over two days (we went to the the Millennium Tree on the first day and continued the rest of the tour on the second day). The staff was also generous enough to let us extend our checkout a few more hours until after we have finished the tour without any additional fee.

for starters,i really wasn't expecting much because of some not so great reviews. when we got there however, we were pleasantly surprised. we only paid less thank 2k for the room that we got. the room was spacious and clean. the staff were accomodating. for a budget friendly inn, it was worth the price.😊

Peaceful stay”
I stayed here with two of my friends. The room was spacious and has the basics (tv, towels, tissue). The most important factor that would make us comeback is the friendly staff -always willing to give suggestions and recommendations and the private time they give to their guests. We went to Baler to just relax and unwind away from the noise in the city and we got it here. 😊 PS: They also offered a tour which was worth the price as well.

The kuya staff (I didn't get the chance to get the name) was nice. OKAY part: The room was huge. The location is not that far from Sabang beach, market place, bus station and affordable establishments and tourist destinations. The rest of the staff were friendly too. Air-conditioning was great. Overall it was okay. Your money is worth it. NOT OKAY part: The pillows were too soft that I needed to put a towel underneath it. I guess its better if i would've asked for another but there were 6 of us so I has second thoughts of asking. It takes time for the water to go down in the shower drain. There might've been so much sand that's causing it to clog. The toilet doesn't flush very well too. The room lacks chairs. There are no hangers inside the cabinet. No hot water for the shower. I'd look for another place if I'd go back to Baler alone. But for a group of 6 I'd say this is affordable already (20% off during my stay)... considering the cleanliness and the place is fairly new. I guess I said too much.

SunRise Inn Baler”
I describe our 2 rooms as SPARTAN. They were very clean but no table and chairs in my room and no HOT water for shower in either room. The location is "not" within walking distance of shops and restaurants. However, the Manager was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. He used his tricycle whenever we needed. He recommended and arranged an excellent A/C van tour of Baler sites and beaches (3500 pesos for 7 am to 10 pm). I am a Canadian tourist to help you put my comments in perspective.

I do not understand why people always tend to complain on what they got during their stay you should learn on how to like things the way it was given to u learn how to adjust on what u have and be productive on how to make it better. Not enough trash bins - yes it is not enough but u can use ur used plastic bags as an added trashbin in the room. No hot water - u paid for not so expensive room why would u expect that they will have a complete facility? Then bring ur own water heater to make your shower temp hot. Soft pillow-they are letting u use total of 8 pillow bahala kn how to make it comfy The area is just near Sabang beach tryc will only cost u P15 per head. It is near the public market you can cook your own meal with an added gas usage which is fair enough. You can even use their kitchen utensils for cooking and eating. If you do not feel to cook u can even eat out to the nearest restau, they do have this famous eat all u can place for P199 and it is also near the hotel.

The room is great, with cable TV and with fast Wifi connection. Cr is bigger than expected, however, no hot shower but it is fine (not a big deal). You can also use the kitchen utensils. Staffs are approachable and nice. The location is far from the surfing location, about 20-30 minutes walk maybe. over-all, great.

This is a inn and not a hotel so do not set your expectations too high. The room was clean, they provide toiletries and also good service, we enjoyed our stay, yeah they don’t have large space for parking lot.

Value for money”
We stayed overnight 5 adults and 2 children, the rooms are true to its reservations, near in city proper and only few minutes away from Sabang Beach. The staff are friendly and courteous to us they gave what paid for. 2 thousand plus for 5 adults and 2 children what more can you ask. the only set back though is there are no fence on parking considering its in front of the main road. but the rest we are excellently satisfied.

The Inn was fine. Spacious indeed, however the towels smelled bad. Bedsheets had some stains which is fine as long as they were absolutely changed every time there's a new guest. The parking was okay but I guess it's better if they would just put a cement on the whole thing, so dogs and cats won't poop. We had to be careful not to step on it. Actually, this was not the only establishment that had feces on the parking lot. LOL.

Budget-friendly but still value for money”
Rooms were spacious and clean but there were no heaters in the bathrooms. The receptionist was very kind to us even when we lost our key and even allowed us to check out later for not extra charge. The location is slightly far from the beach and the town but it’s only a short drive (or tricycle) away so location is still fine and at least the place was relatively quiet and peaceful.

Budget hotel versus location”
I stayed two nights. the hotel is new and nice itself. expect only to visit your room only. this is not a resort. the rooms were big and accommodated my group of 4 well and spaciously. the cons were its location which is a drive itself to the nearest beach and local shop/eateries. I do recommend this place for budget minded people who aren't worried about the location being away from other hotspots.

Place is good, clean and safe. Only thing was that alittle far to the sites and views that you want for site seeing but place is accesible for the transportation like tricycle and bus ride. all in all the experience is satisfying.

Baler good but not finished”
Great but, no water, breakfast was the same every day, television was in the room but not connected, the rooms were not finished as being fitted out properly and painted, only beds no sitting in the rooms, no wi fi in the rooms only in the dining/kitchen area, I realise it is not finished project but it needs up to cratch if they want to have a market share because word soon travels amongs travellers and public. It has potential to be good business!
