Hidden piece of peace”
You would hardly know that you're staying in the heart of bustling Seminyak, Bali Agung Village is located at the back of a quiet laneway and is an oasis of peace and tranquility. We stayed in the larger deluxe villas to give our small son room to run around in and also to have space for a cot. Our villa was beautiful, the photos on the website do not do the rooms or gardens enough justice. The staff are attentive and considerate, our room was daily made clean and tidy, and breakfast was always delicious. So much so that we had a couple of dinners and a lunch from their restaurant sampling the typical Balinese dishes. Sukirta, our driver/tour guide organized at reception, was wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend staying here, particularly if you have small children.

Excellent”
very good all around, however, staff at reception not completely helpful as they did not tell us where the beach was - it was only 5 minutes from the hotel - they wanted us to spend time at the hotel and buy drinks there!! evening meals a la carte not good value for money at all

Serenity in seminyak”
This was the first hotel of 3 that we used in Bali and it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to completely relax the first days of our holiday but still be near Seminyak to enjoy the local vibes. The Bali Agung did exactly that. The surroundings were beautiful and match the marketing photos exactly so don't be afraid of any photoshop being used. It really felt like we were in Bali. The only negative experience we had was a lizard in our room. The staff removed one on the first occasion after some time but on our last night we had another one enter the room and we couldn't find it. Not willing to stay in the room the staff kindly moved us to a new room and we slept soundly. Couldn't have asked for more. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to try and have the room doors more secure to stop the lizards getting in. Other than that, no other complaints. Many thanks to all in Bali Agung! Was a great start to our trip in Bali.

Beautiful and relaxing resort”
Adi Assri in Pemuteran is a real tropical paradise. We spent 7 nights in our villa overlooking the pool and beach which were a joy. The Super Deluxe Sea View room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff were helpful and contributed to the ease and relaxation of our stay. It is important to understand that this resort is a 3 hour+ drive from the airport in Denpasar, but the drivers organised for us through the resort were safe and capable. We were picked up exactly as arranged from the airport and delivered to the boat harbour for next part of our journey without fuss and at reasonable cost. The snorkelling trip to the marine park at Menjangan Island was a real highlight of the trip with myriad colourful and interesting sea life. This was organised through the dive school located right next to the main resort pool. This team offer scheduled snorkelling and dive tours and are also willing to do customised outings for the more adventurous. The resort restaurant maintained a very high standard for the buffet breakfast each morning and meals served for lunch and dinner. There are also many interesting and high quality waroeng/warungs or restaurants within easy walking distance and across a fairly broad range of tastes and prices. Make no mistake this is not a huge tourist area like those clustered around Denpasar. It is a relatively quiet and much less developed region where you will need to be creative in finding and making your experiences interesting. This is not a party town. If you love Kuta, this is probably not for you. If you want a quiet and luxurious holiday where you can make your own adventure, you will love this place. Shopping for handcrafts or other things you may be looking for in Bali is a little patchy and requires a bit of exploration. If you are willing to poke your nose into a variety of different small and interesting shops, you can find some great bargains compared to prices seen in the more mainstream tourist areas

My stay”
Good hotel for Seminyak. Location worked well. Very quiet which was good. Breakfast was included which was average. This was a combination of buffet style or simple a la carte. It served the purpose of a meal in the morning. Room was very good size. Shower water pressure low. Pool facility was good and well protected. Would probably stay again

Location, style, garden
I had a nice stay (again) at Bali Agung Village. The rooms have been renovated since I was last there and the garden is still beautiful. Breakfast is very generous but I find it somewhat bland. I enjoyed my stay and hope they will keep on going!!
