Glory days have passed it by”
This place used to be a good secret find right on the beach. We've been there a few times but it's been a couple of years since the last time and things have gone downhill big time but it can recover if they put in the effort. I suspect, like many places in Amed, they sufferred a lot from the volcano warnings but, if they want to remain open, they should at least know how to clean and maintain the place. The floors in the room hadn't seen a mop in quite some time and the bathroom shower the same - really quite dirty unfortunately. The paths around the place were all dirty, the toilet next to the restaurant was filthy, the bath towells were all damp etc - standards have dropped a lot. The girls behind the counter were still trying their best though! There also seemed to be many people (not in uniforms) just hanging around doing nothing. I hope they can recover though.

with a little effort the owner could make this property much better”
The outlay of this property with trees and fish pond, small pool and chairs on the beach is nice though very small. As the hotel is frequented by groups from Eastern Europe at times it gets quite noisy, even until late night. The staff has no interest at all in making the guests eat at the hotel restaurant. Fish was out for several days whereas in outside restaurants you can find it. They just didn't care despite our uttered interest. Pool towels were out as they didn't keep up with the laundry. Breakfast was decent, fruit juices very tasty. The pool is small but clean. We loved the beach sofas. Chairs are plenty.

Short visit to Amed”
I booked this so I could go snorkelling there and see Amed. We were too far out and as no snorkelling as windy etc. Nothing to do where we were staying. Maybe okay if you are a diver but I won't go back again. Breakfast basic.

Great area in Bali ”
Amed is a quiet and beautiful area in Bali the beach was clean and snorkelling was easy with lots of fish to see. Bali Bhuana hotel was very good in a nice position on the beach with several warongs nearby to eat dinner. We will definality return to Amed.

Good location in Lipah (Amed) but a bit old complex”
Very good location right on the beach. Nice breakfast included. Amed is a nice and quite place. We recommend diving at Liberty wreck!

good enough”
For this price and if you don't expect much from the inner territory, it is ok. Directly on the beach with good snorkeling.

Amazing stay, highly recommend ”
We loved our stay here- staff were over the top, friendly, always available and super helpful. Directly on the beach with a great pool and the restaurant was so good! All activities are available on the same beach. This is a much more quiet beach area which we loved although a little bit far from the markets etc. But everything you need is available on this strip and all the restaurants we went to nearby had amazing food. Go see Frankie on the beach for snorkel and fishing, he is a great guy! Rooms were very clean, fridge and free clean water. Also excellent a/c and wifi connection. 5 stars for sure!

Location is the best!”
Although the location is fabulous the rest is fairly mediocre. Air conditioning was too small for room and we constantly felt hot. It was hard to get information from reception as they were often not there and spoke little English. I am amazed at reviews of breakfast being fantastic as it was the normal standard fare, with no bacon, ham or sausages on offer. The restaurant food was ok but nothing great. The staff in the restaurant were lovely. I would recommend to people who want to be right on the beach but aren't fussed about the little things that make a place superb.

Tranquil location”
Very nice bungallows, spacious and clean. Water tank with drinking water in each room. It is a small place and you benefit from direct access to the beach where are no other tourists. There is not much to do in Amed but if you would like just relax with a book by the pool or at the beach, it is ideal. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice a day a they have nice meals and fair prices. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bali Bhuana Cottages and it was one of the highlights of our Bali holidays.
