We had booked to stay in Ungasan for our 3 week holiday, and after 4 sleepless nights on an uncomfortable bed we decided to seek alternative accomodation. Bali Life Villas showed photos that seemed too good to be true for the advertised price, but on arrival we were so glad to find the place was exactly as described, the photos didn't lie and the beds are as comfortable as other reviews have claimed. We stayed for two weeks and did not want to leave. Friendly staff were very accomodating and we became very good friends with all. Highly recommend Bali Life Villas for your stay in Sanur. A small paradise with an inviting pool to call home whilst in Bali.

Pleasant stay at beautiful place”
Bail Life Villas in Jalan Bumi Ayu, Gang V 88 is a nice surprise and good value for the money. I visited Sanur in May 2016 with my wife, as we took part in a large event in the area. We chose hotel rather randomly, and I’m happy to say we turned out to be very satisfied with this one. The gate leads into a Balinese garden with a small pool, and the rooms (a total of eight) face this, as does the small annex with a couple of tables (where breakfast is served) and a kitchen. Our room (at the upper of two floors) overlooked the pool and the nice traditional rooftops of the neighbourhood through a large glass front with sliding doors. The air conditioned room (which also had a fan) was fairly spacious, with plenty storage space, and had a nice bathroom with tub and a great hot-water shower. The breakfast was simple but nice, the always helpful staff prepared eggs, sausages and bread to our liking. I was very happy to find a nice wi-fi access (complementary, 10 Mb down and 2.5 Mb up). Not much negative to mention here, maybe that the TV was noisy and the channels only local. Other reviewers have noted that the access to the villa (which basically just is a small hotel, not a group of separate small buildings…) is a bit difficult, and hampered with angry dogs. It is true that it requires a 10 minute walk from the main street with lots of restos and bars, but we naver had problems with finding the place, and the little exersice we got was nothing to complain about. There were several dogs barking at us, particularly at night, but they never attacked, and got used to us soon enough. What’s more important was tha we never felt unsafe walking in the area. So, we liked the place, and would be happy to return. Recommended.

Value for money ”
I got king sized bed, clean linen and towels, even bathrobes. The room has attached bathroom with bath tub! the room ceiling is high, cladded in bamboo. I can't believe what I'm getting with the amount I paid. I was greeted by Agung on check-in day. The night before my check-out, I realized I lost an ATM card, Agung accompanied me late at night to places that I thought I might have dropped it. He even dropped and picked me up from Pasar Sindhu. I am forever grateful with his kindness. The road and alley leading up to Bali Life Villa is not very well lit, but you can ask their staff to help to drop and pick u up at night if you were alone. The address in google map is not tallied as well. That caused my Grab driver going round and round looking for this place. I did ask Agung about this, he explained something that they have two entrance doors and his boss is still making decision about something. Other than that, this place is amazing!!

Lovely place to stay”
We arrived at Bali Life Villa at 2.30am as our flights was delayed due to volcanic action preventing previous flights from landing. Our taxi driver took us to the hotel/villa and we were not able to rouse the staff so that we could be admitted to the hotel, and this is after phoning Agoda and telling them of the troubles we had encountered and the person at Agoda assuring us that everything was Ok. Otherwise the Villa was lovely, clean and well appointed. Staff was polite and attentive.

Our stay at bali life villas was a complete surprise, for the price we paid we were expecting just an average place. The owner could not do enough to make us feel welcome, and the staff were just amazing. The bed would have to be the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Pool was beautiful. It is about a 5 to 10 min walk to the main road but that was fine for us as it was a lot quiter. Would definitely recommend to any one and will be back again soon.

wonderful oasis with a very comfortable bed ”
Wonderful oasis in a residential area with a beautiful pool, flowers and very relaxing atmosphere. The villa is only small, with 8 bedrooms- none of which inceidentally are separate villas, but en-suite rooms within a small villa. Beautiful rooms with super comfortable king-size bed. Very kind and helpful staff- young guys called Ketut and Made were very lovely, helpful and kind. The only thing we didn't like was when the two older bosses arrived on our check-out date and demanded that the young guys looking after the villa had to make us leave our room otherwise we would have had to pay extra just for half an hour! The villa is about 5-10 mins walk to the bech and local highstreet. Other than the issue with the bosses demanding that we left which made the atmosphere in teh villa very uncomfortable, we would highly recommend this place to friends and fmaily for a stay in Sanur.

spend 3d2n at this villa. location in the alley but not to far from the main street. if you rent a car, littlebit difficult to park the car. comfortable room with a big bed and wardrobe. got a problem with the air conditioner but the staff help us to repair it. very helpful staff, good pool, nice view. I enjoy my stayed in Bali Life Villas

Nice inner garden and pool at walking distance from the beach”
This was a great value hotel! The little garden and the pool were beautiful. The room was spacious with good AC. The bathroom floor looked very nice. You can get quite a good view on the sunset from upstairs. The place itself was easy to enjoy and was very relaxing. Its location is a 15min walk from the beach and a 5min walk to the main street. On the way to the main, there is a very cheap excellent value restaurant that offers take away that I definitely recommend. The road from the Villa to the main is very dark and there are a lot of dogs which is a bit sketchy but nothing too scary. The young ones working there were really really hospitable hosts. The older one seemed like he was trying too hard. He often sounded too much like a salesman which made me uncomfortable. A major complaint was the shower drain in our room: the water would take hours to drain and somehow looked very disgusting. Overall, I had a really great stay here and I would definitely recommend. PS: Use the Agoda adress and Bali Life Villa as indicated in Google Maps for location. The location provided by Agoda's Map is wrong.

We came to Bali life once and then came back two weeks later we were so impressed its so absolutely beautiful and well maintained the staff r friendly and do there jobs to the smallest detail every thing was clean and we felt extremely welcome. Our main guy was wisnu putrayasa who was not just a staff member but a good friend he done every thing in his power to accomodate our every need with no expectation of payment plus being a super cool guy just to hang with. This place is not a hotel it's a haven. We will return thanks Bali life

Bali Life Villas was a big surprise a very quiet but quality property. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the local Balinese were a pleasure to run into on a daily basis. The villa is among a lot of local houses and very quiet . Loved our stay would stay here again.

Nice room, very comfy bed and pillows”
Nice stay at Bali Life Villa, with really beautiful garden and pool (even if I did not have the time to enjoy it). the room had lots of space, and I liked a lot the furniture, the bedding was very comfortable, it was a pleasure sleeping there. The less positive point is I think it could be more clean, lots of dust under the bed (I was looking for a button I lost), as well as the bathroom. Big bathroom though, but could be cleaner, less positive point of the overall stay.

Clean, Basic, Convenient (if you can find it) - shame about the water”
The property is about 2 years old and was built / furnished to a high standard for a budget villa. My room was clean, nicely furnished with new, teak furniture, good linen, icon effective, nice rustic bali-style bathroom. Breakfast was basic but good -- about what i would expect from a property at this price range. There are two downsides to the property: 1. Finding it. The location is pretty central for Saner, and 10 minutes walk to the heart of Sanur's restaurants. However, the pin is on the wrong location in Google maps in Agoda (as someone else pointed out), and it's a bit f a walk in Sanur's backstreets to find it. For those used to Bali, it's not unsafe -- but i could see that some guests would struggle a bit at night... 2. The water stinks. The tap water has a very irony / slightly sulphurous smell to it that makes washing or showering a bit unpleasant. (If you are the owner reading this - get a good filter and make sure the tanks are clean)). As a regular in Bali, I would not go back because of the water smell. other than that - no complaints. Food good, staff helpful, place clean...what more do you expect for around $30 per night.

Great guesthouse but poor location”
This guesthouse is as good as the pictures show and is incredible value for the price but it is quite a little walk from the main road and the beach and there isn't much nearby. Also as anyone who is familiar with Bali knows there are stray dogs everywhere and walking to and from this property at night or early in the morning brings all of them out barking their heads off. My wife was charged by one but luckily wasn't bitten and every time we left the place we were tense and waiting for another attack. The staff were sympathetic and came to our rescue when the local pack had surrounded us outside the guesthouse entrance. If you don't mind dogs (or they tend not to mind you) then this is a truly great place but if you're more of a cat person then you might want to avoid the night time back alley roams.

A real paradise in the most quiet place you could find”
The clear water pool, the luxurious flowers and plants, the statues... Everything is made here to make you feel like you're staying in a villa from Antique times. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the mattresses comfortable and the staff nice. One bad point though: the strange smell from the sinks and bathtubs that really don't make you wanna take a bath. Overall a great deal for the money we paid.

Stunning Villa, Highly recommended!”
This place is so beautiful, as beautiful as in the pictures! Beautiful Balinese blue pool sits in the middle of villa... Rooms are stunning and bed is the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Very clean, safe box in wardrobe, room cleaned everyday. Western breakfast is simple, toast, eggs and sausage and jam if you want. (You might want to bring your own sauce). Shared kitchen - you can cook if you want and a couple of shared fridges. Relaxed and quiet atmosphere, very romantic, as it is a stunning place. Worth to find down the back streets, it is a slight walk, not nice in the heat of the mid-day. Get a bicycle it will turn a 10-15 min walk to the beach into a 2 min ride. Great value for money! And much more comfortable then some of the beachside resorts. Highly recommended!

good area of Sanur. the rooms are pretty nice. the linens are high quality, but some holes in them. the ac was good. the wifi repeatedly dropped the connection every few minutes. I had to tether to my data plan for most of my stay there for sanity. The staff were very nice and helpful, although there is no reception area when you first arrive. There are roosters next door that go all day, and dogs that bark at anyone they don't know coming through - make friends with them so they know you.

Nice Litte Inn but smelly bathroom”
I choose this place because I got a good rate (less than $30/nite) and I wanted to be in that part of Sanur. My friend and I had a short stay in this place. We arrived at 3 PM, left our bags and went out. Came back at 9 PM and checked out at 6 AM. There was a bit confusion coming to this place. There’s Bali Life Villas (plural) in Bumi Ayu Road Gang V and Bali Life Villa (singular) in Kejari Road and shown in Google Maps. So I went and stayed in Bali Life Villas; a small compound with 8 rooms. The place is quiet and about 15 minutes walk from the main road (Danau Tamblingan Road). The road going into the villa is really narrow, only fits 1 car. The compound is cozy with beautiful garden, a dip pool, small dining area and kitchen. The room is quite small, but we only had small suitcases, so it’s OK. There’s a desk and cupboards to put your clothes. The floor is a bit dusty, I guess you can ask the staff to mop the floor, but it was already late so I just don’t bother. The bed sheet is white and clean. The bed mattress is nice and comfy. I don’t see any water bottle in the room. There are several electric plugs but not on each side of the bed. The main issue is the stinky bathroom. It smells like ammonia or bad drainage system and it won’t go away. I turned on the exhaust fans and closed the bathroom door and the smell was even stronger in the bedroom. Fortunately I was really tired and was able to had a good night sleep on a comfy bed despite the smell.

four villas (studio type rooms)large size ours had open air bathroom. Only one other couple in the complex at the time so quiet and relaxing. Wife cooked some meals in shared kitchen available and staff where very helpful.

nice place, but often get lost”
this villa is hidden in deep small roads, taxi eill surely enter the wrong road. the gps got the location too near to next street, it should be another street. take a look at the map closely you will get it. but overall the place was cool and clean. have a kitchen and and we can make some drink. the staff were very kind.

Very comfortable villa away from the main road ”
Quiet location situated 10 mins walk from the main road... Great yellow beaches with some local shopping,bars and restaurants... Villas very modern with staff there at your call...the only down side was there was only local tv stations...other than that I would return again
