Great location with spacious rooms ”
hotel is located close to plenty of bars and restaurants. the staff is very friendly and helpful. the rooms are spacious and enjoyed the lush vegetation and gardens surrounding rooms and pool. the only thing is that the pool water tended to be cooldish but hey Bali is really hot ! - they were also a couple of mosquitoes bring a spray with you or ask staff.

    Awesome stay!”
The moment i stepped foot into the garden bungalow im in AWE! It totally gives me that tingle! IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL! 💯💯💯 But if u dont wanna be disturbed by bugs, mosquitoes, lizards, then i suggest you to stay in a hotel instead. The little pond/garden in the toilet was cool but it’d be better if they make an effort to clean it everyday as well. Cos its really dirty and u can see that area is being ignored for a quite long time. The pool, ive read the reviews and they mentioned tt they didnt change chlorine as they shd and it caused red eyes n such n it was true n the water was cold because of the shady area for the pool so tt is something they shd consider to improve on. But all and all amazing place cos of where it was situated at n the garden is so huge n prettyyy!

    1 night in Seminyak”
For a short stay this location is great. It came up on a last minute deal which for SGD 150 was a fair price for the space, and convenience of being close to some nice cafes and bars and the beach. At the normal rate it is probably over priced. The apartment is clean and tidy and staff are friendly and helpful.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY, ENERGY AND TIME AND GO ELSEWHERE ”
This hotel looks nice in photos, from the outside and the gardens within are nice. However, upon arrival as we were checking in the staff did not explain to me what is included in the room e.g. breakfast, the facilities, etc. The staff were rude and were talking and laughing at us when we were trying to check in. As we got to our room the air conditioner made a loud noise when in use and in the bathroom the ceiling was leaking from 3 different spots creating a puddle in the shower and around the toilet. When we went to use the toilet we would get splashed with water as it was raining heavy and our feet were in a puddle of water. The staff moved us to another room which was even WORSE! The next room had mold on the walls, the bedsheets were not clean. They had stains all over the sheets and the pillows smelt like sweat and the whole room smelt like mold. At this point we decided to grab our bags and check out and stay elsewhere. Staff = rude, unhelpful, unapologetic, lack of care.

    Very good”
The Bali Mystique is a convenient place to stay it is in walking distance to many shops, great places to eat and clubs etc. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bungalows where we started are lovely, very comfortable. The only problems we found were the lack of exhaust fans in the bathroom/toilet and that the pool was not clean.

Mystique is a box of chocolates”
I have not seen any reviews that shows what I am here. We checked nearly all of the Villa's / bungalows and look to be all different in many ways. Example 108 has a big open to air bathroom with a fish pond and with two wash sinks. I am near sure that 108 has the biggest bathroom of any garden villa. 116 has a small bath with zero ventilation, it's a closed box with no ventilation fan. 107 has open to air bathroom with a small garden. These are all garden villas at the same price and obviously 108 is the best one (except for the old CRT type TV). The other next higher cost is 109D which is a very nice room with a sleeper pull out sofa that can sleep two. Thus 109D can sleep 4 people. Note different means basically everything is different room to room and that includes the TV, the AC brand, room layout, furnishings, and etc. 107 has a clear newer LCD TV, while 108 has an old not clear CRT TV. It's a total mishmash room to room. For a garden villa the best are 108 and then 107. If you unfortunately get 116 ask to move when any other room becomes vacant. The two pools, one is not warm, and the other is even colder. Both are shaded by building and trees and do not get enough sun to get warmer. Quite clean but can be overloaded with chlorine. They do not do any Ph tests and then to add the correct Ph balanced amount of chlorine solution. They toss chlorine pellets into the pool and that's it. Kids and adults can and do get mucous membrane and eye problems as the chlorine ratio can be far too high. This can and does make some get sick with flu like symptoms or sore throat or etc. Breakfast is okay, one that is good is the breakfast package which now costs 55k rupiah. Front desk and management service is not great. The owner is around but does not greet guests. If you have a booking question it is likely not going to get any answer. I wanted to extend and never did get a rate. The manager not around and many other excuses. So I extended online with Agoda as ne

    Bali atmosphere”
The location is good with many good cafes (a very good cafe is Biku) and mini markets nearby. Food at Mystique is also good although somewhat higher cost as compared to the cafe nextdoor. Staff are mostly all friendly and good service. Two swimming pools with one seldom used as it seems always to cold. Overall Mystique is one of the better places as of the cottage / villa design with a thatched roof, and not the typical box room. This design gives more of what a Bali stay should be and Mystique has it.

    The Worst! Beware!”
The absolute literal worst. We stayed in a number of places in Bali and this was by far the worst. Our expectations were already low given the price point and we weren't expecting to spend much time in the room which is why we booked it, but it wasn't worth it. Everything just feels dirty and old. We wouldn't even eat here and barely wanted to sleep here. It's only saving grace is the location is pretty close to a lot of good places. Other than that this is a no go.

    A place with good surprises”
Go through a lobby just like a bar(It is a bar with live music in 8pm-10pm). You will find a lane lead you to traditional bungalows. You will see lovely bed with post nets. Sitting area at door for you to have a breakfast or smoke is good, a small yard with a fish pond is a surprise! You will fidn a walk in wardrobe. Isn't it interesting! Nice coffee shop and bakerys also sea shore in 5 minutes walk. I just love this hotel

Good location but lack of security is a concern”
Hotel is in a good location to walk to restaurants such as Biku and La Lucciola. Rooms are a decent size and reasonable clean. There are mosquito nets over the beds.Towels are good quality. Shower is more a fine mist than a jet of water. My main concern is the lazy staff and security issues. On the day I checked in my passport was photocopied as is usual. The photocopy sat at the reception desk in the middle of the dining area for hours. I went out for dinner late and when I returned it was still on the desk. Anyone could have taken it. The desk is unmanned a lot of the time. I found staff to be very lazy and unhelpful. Simple things like a hairdresser, umbrella, toilet paper, help with luggage were all too much trouble. There are a lot of steps down to the bungalows and they were constantly wet and covered with leaf litter when they could have easily been cleaned. Piles of dirty dishes are stacked up on the waiters station by the stairs and they stay there for hours.

    Convenient location”
My partner and i chose this hotel because it was a short 2 minute walk to potato head beach club. The bungalow was cute and comfortable and i liked the idea of a mosquito net being placed around the bed. My only negative is that it needs a little renovation, as the bathroom was a bit out of date and so were the walls. But we can't really complain for the price we paid, overall it was a good stay!

Great location, close to the beach and eat street. There was building work going on so was a little messy but I'm sure it will make it nicer. Didn't have breakfast here but there are so many great brunch places in seminyak that it worked better for me.
