Completely a shock”
when we arrived in evening around 7 PM, we were surprised to find that we were the only guests in resort... The resort look desolate & there was even no one in the reception... Wifi was working only in lobby area... No food & not even tea/coffee were available there... Power cut happened twice & we had to wait in the dark. Only good thing was the diving session in next morning which was good.

Nice low scale cosy resort”
As we were the only guests we were treated like a King, weather was a bit disappointing but still some good dives. All resorts in Anilao are for diving only, so as Bambu. Good facilities. Nice staff and everything is possible for a reasonable price Only bad experience was power problems and mosquitoes, don't know if you can make the hotel accountable for that :)

Acceptable”
try to book a short escape from manila booking at 7pm on saturday to have a day of relax with a probable additional night but when we try to contact them not answers to our calls or repy to our messages, we head them from manila but when we show up there was a close gate and no one attending for check us in, horrendus experience. was already late at night so we could only find another accomodation, not really what we had plan for a short break. Terrible experience, after 3 days we are still waiting for a single reply, i work in hospitality and i find this kind of service completely awful and disgusting

Weekend Chill”
We enjoyed ourselves. The crews are very nice and accommodating. The place well maintained. The bed is soft and clean. We went there to relax and we achieved it. Double check to the music they are playing in the resort. The only cons limited food choice. If you're with family better to bring some ready to eat food. Free breakfast is good though.

Most expensive Buffet with only 4 choices”
600 pesos for 4 different dishes and one kind of dessert?! And one order of chicken sandwich for 500 pesos. Its more expensive that a 5 star hotel in the City and the food isn't that great. No wifi, there should be as posted on the booking details, apparently the owner of the hotel got it for himself and brought it to his room, entire hotel no wifi capability, evern poor network signal, so it was a hassle

Disappointing ”
It s disappointing to come to a resort and not being able to see the sea unless you go down to their terrace where you have only 3 tables with normal chairs , no longers and umbrella , nothing to relax with the sound of the wave . So I did the pool which was nice of you like the screams of the kids. Apart this, there was no top bed sheet on our extra bed ( we were 3) and apparently they could not put one .. The bed lamp had a broken bulb and the hot water was inexistant . There was no Wifi as well . And the meals are pretty basics same for the breakfast . No mangos or salad on their menu . In the end , I found it expensive for what they offer.

Place is awesome but had hidden charges”
Stayed here from Jan 14-15 with friends. Everything was great in the start. Place and rooms look awesome. Had welcome drinks for guest. Crew were friendly and responds to requests immediately. Pool was nice. However, downside is their food, billing and snorkeling fee. Food was priced at 400/plate which is damn expensive! So i suggest you bring outside meals to eat at your room. Snorkeling was P3200/boat that can fit 7 people only. They literally charge for everything like the goggles and tube when I think they shouldn't bec the boat is so pricey already. They offered water bottles and we just said yes thinking it was free (again bec the boat is expensive). But alas, it's priced 50/bottle and i was only informed upon checkout. The boatmen dropped us off and island with an entrance fee of P100 (bakkkeet?!) and there were nothing to see there! A few fish and lots of dead corals and stones. I would even appreciate if they could just make a stop near a rock formation in the middle of the sea and let us snorkel. Snorkeling in other places like Cebu or Bohol was cheaper and was teaming with sea creatures! We had nothing to see in the island. I don't know if the boatmen knew what they were doing. Such a let down when I was expecting to see turtles and lots of fish. :( Billing was an issue as well. Before booking I sent an email to their official email add and asked a couple of things that I need to pay like corkage for food/drinks and charge for extra people in the rooms. I do this every time I travel since I dont like bringing lots of cash. But alas, upon checkout I was being asked to pay for this and that and the charge for extra person was P1200 when I was told it was P1000 only. I didn't budge and eventually won the discussion. I don't want to pay for things not declared upon checkin. Hope the management can work on this things.

Could be good but need a lot of work”
No water pressure on the bathroom, shower barely work, no hot water, we asked to change room and was even worst, rooms are not very clean. The service was good while there was a lot of people on the weekend, once they left it got worse, the restaurant closed earlier than it was supposed to, the billing was incorrect and we were being overcharged (twice). Food at the restaurant is bad and the selection is very limited. WI-FI didn't work not even once during the 5 days we were there. Staff overall was nice and helpful but that is not enough, the whole place needs renovation and more attention to details. We tried the restaurants and facilities of 2 resorts near by and both of them are way better.
