Gorgeous sunrise and sunsets in well built Bungalows ”
I booked one day and stayed for three more. It’s out of town, therefore you won’t hear traffic noise. The mostly private balcony (with wet bar and fridge) allows you to enjoy your favorite beverage while gazing for hours towards the rice fields and White Buddha in the mountain. I enjoyed the silence very much as many areas in Thailand have barking dogs, but here...none! The staff is very friendly and serves you breakfast with good coffee.
Comfortable place to stay”
I cant forget what this resort bring to me. i love their hotel room very much. it is not a big room or very nice design. but it just bring me a very relaxing mood when i enter the room. definitely will visit them again since my pai travel is not enough for me.
The rooms made me feel very uncomfortable as there was a weird smell the entire stay and some stains on the bed. Staff was great, they would take you into the city and back free of charge anytime before 9pm. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, toast, eggs
nice view but too cold at night.
Pai is very small, so hotels there are always rudimentary. Ban Dalah Resort is wonderful. It is located under the YunLai viewing platform and near by the town. We can enjoy the hotel and also easy to go to the night market for eating food or shopping.
Great overnight stopover”
I booked here on a recommendation from a friend. Not disappointed at all. Staff very accommodating, room clean with a breathtaking view. Lovely quiet setting away from the vibrancy of central Pai. You need transport to stay here. Walking Street area in Pai is 3.3km away. I would definitely stay here again
Gem of a place but without transport or Google Maps - maybe impossible to find? The bungalow rooms were big and clean with balcony views of the fields and mountains. I didn't know if the hot water was working or not...so I had 2 cold showers...yes, freezing! The staff there were wonderfully hospitable. Will definitely go back there again if stopping through Pai.
A great place to stay! I'm back for second time! love the mountains view from my room. u need a bike to the hotel as it is not close to walking street, but this hotel kinda close to yun lai chinese village.
Stunning Veiw at Baan Dalah ”
We had a wonderful stay at Baan Dalah. The staff was very lovely and helpful, the accommodation was very clean, quiet and serene. It was tucked away from the city center which was very majestic. I recommend this to any traveler! The Veiw was absolutely stunning, one of the best views I've seen and this was my second time traveling to Pai. Overall we had an amazing stay and will be coming back again for sure!
Relax in a beautiful setting. ”
We stayed a night here as a special treat and it really fit the bill. The staff are lovely, the room was very comfortable and the view from our balcony was serene. It's got a quiet, secluded location but is only a few minutes ride to town. This place is excellent value for money and we really enjoyed our time out.
Amazing hotel with beautiful view.”
Request for later checkout and staff approves immediately upon knowing our schedule, staff do their best to accomodate, there was nothing left unanswered or unsatisfactory, everything about this hotel is EXCELLENT!
Relaxing and memorable”
We enjoyed our short stay in Pai from the moment we arrived to this quiet oasis away from the bustling town of Pai. It's a just a short trip into town when you want to explore with no directions needed - just a straight drive to the walking street market. We loved the breakfast and a highlight the trip was our in-room thai massages after a day of exploring! We'll definitely be back, the staff and owner were very friendly and took great care of us during our stay - even their two dogs kindly greeted us as we returned from our various trips via scooter :)
Peaceful serenity ”
Just what I needed to relax and de-stress after a hectic end of year at work. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The best part was the large terrace at the back of the room that overlooks rice fields and mountains in the distance. For me it was the perfect combination of peace and quiet and glorious views. The owner is friendly and relaxed. They provided me with transport in to town (less than 10 mins away) on the first day so I could rent a motorbike. They even gave me a pair of brand new flip flops to use the first day as I had forgotten to pack mine. The gardens are well-maintained and the staff are polite, friendly and discreet. This is a great place for someone to chill out and just hang out on the balcony. The owner understands the needs of those who like to chill and they just leave you be to enjoy your own time. It's located a few minutes away from town so probably not for those who do not have their own transport or do not want to rent a bike. Perfect for me. If I had to mention anything not 'perfect' then I would say the electric shower heater could be more efficient as I like to take really hot showers. That said though, I should add that I was there at the coldest time of year (coldest 'winter 's over 20 years) and if it were any other time of year then the temperature of the water would be more than adequate. Do not be put off by my shower comments if you are going any time other than the beginning of Jan. It really is a great place to relax and I will most certainly stay again.
Very relaxing. Great view of new year sky.”
Only had breakfast there which was good. Staff were great and helpful for any enquiries about the area. Tuk tuk was available to go to town or sightseeing viewpoint. View of the night sky on new year was great. Would go back there again.
The staff was beyond amazing at Dalah Resort and extremely friendly. Best hotel I stayed at in all of Thailand. I will definitely return to Dalah resort when I am back in Pai. The part that blew my mind was that the resort owner lent me money for the deposit of my scooter. So amazing!
Favorite stay in all of Thailand! ”
This was perhaps our most pleasant experience in the 6 weeks we have been traveling in Thailand. The owner was a lovely person and spoke English very well. She was extremely helpful to us in literally every way! Our motorbike got a flat tire and she not only sent someone to come pick us up, but got the motorbike fixed and delivered back to us. The rooms were beautiful, new, and perfectly clean. The view from our room overlooked stunning rice fields with the mountains in the background. It was peaceful and quiet, breakfast was great, and the overall layout of the resort makes this place extremely charming and quaint. Wish we could have spent more time here!
Very relaxing resort next to the rice field”
This outskirt resort is perfect for a couple, looking for a quiet place in the Pai area. It is a 5 minute drive to the Pai night market. You can rent a scooter for 300 baht a day and drive to the Pai downtown. The best thing about this resort is the clean air you will experience as soon as you arrive because it is in the middle of the rice paddies and the road leading up to the resort is not paved. Luckily, the road is only 500 meters off the paved main road.
We stay for 3 nights. The room is comfortable and the view is good facing the rice fields. The site is about 4 km from city and you need a motor bike or a car. No free transport to city. After staying 1 night, no one clean the room. We tell the staff to clean the room and change the towels. They did but not cleaning the toilet. Frastrated.
Beautiful and serene spot to renew the spirit!”
For those looking for the fun of Pai, but not wanting to stay downtown, this is a perfect spot! That being said, renting a scooter is a necessity, as it takes 5-8 minutes by scooter to get downtown (may also require some juggling on the way back, I took the free shuttle and luggage to bus station while my husband drove the scooter in). The hotel is a row of spacious duplexes, all looking out over rice paddies with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Worth getting up early for the beautiful sunrise view from your porch! The owner speaks English very well, but we arrived when there were no English speaking staff, so check-in was a bit comical- be patient if this happens to you, the open air lounge and garden are gorgeous, and you're on Thai time :) I rated dining a 4 based on what we experienced otherwise, but we did not eat there (Agoda won't let me skip question).
Good Hotel in Pai”
I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Pai. This hotel is 5-10 min drive from Pai city area. The hotel looked new. The room was clean and hot water was very stable. I like to have a breakfast in the balcony. Very nice garden and farm view. I saw cows from my window. Staffs were very friendly and spoke good English.
