Too many rules”
- Very strict with check-in time -- 2.00 p.m. sharp!! So at 2 p.m. the check-in queue was tremendous long. - During waiting for 2 p.m. check-in, the receptionist encouraged us to visit the Cafe and buy some drinks. However, after checking in at 2 p.m., we received discount coupons for using at the Cafe! Can't they even give us before. Seemed they wanted guests to pay at full-price once. Not good impression. - There were signs of "No food or drink from outside" everywhere. Guests should be able to bring any food or drinks they want to enjoy their stays, like other hotels. - Breakfast starts at 8.00 a.m. It was very late since we had to go to another place in the early morning.

It's a really quaint and spacious resort. The place is as you see in photos, full of antiques and photo spots everywhere. You are free to snap away. Plus I verify with all the other reviewers here that their breakfast food is very good. Simple porridge/ noodles / fried rice but hits the spot. Their desserts are stellar ;)

I was only here for 1 night but it was a lovely little place to stay. I wish I was staying for longer because the facilities are great - pool, cafe, restaurant, but I wasn't spending too much time on site because I was in Khao Yai for most of the weekend. I did not know that this place was actually a showcase for vintage items and it is great fun wandering around the labyrinthian style property checking out all the different pop culture artifacts. The cafe has a great deck over the river (though a bit pricey for a coffee I thought). My one challenge was understanding what all of the available facilities were and when they were open. And unfortunately, breakfast only begins at 8 AM so if you're taking an early tour, you may be out of luck. Loved the proximity though and that I could walk from the train station instead of working about taxis. The roads are a bit confusing to navigate but Ban Mai does have signs in several helpful places to get you where you need to go. Enjoy!

Lovely hotel. A lot of the deco are done by the family that runs the hotel. There are provably more than 10000 items on display. If you like vintage deco, that is the place to go. They run the restaurant that caters to walks in guest. Seems to be popular with walk in guest during dinner. There is a suspension bridge over a river that links the lobby/rooms to the restaurant. There are so many benches and tables all over the hotel that guests can chill and have a good conversation. The cafe is lovely place to chill. There is also a vintage arcade that can cater to family fun time. Looking through the items on display is like travelling back in time. Lovely place, cannot say more. With so big a place and too many items on display, it is impossible to keep the place perfectly clean. That is the only thing that did nit score well.

Ban Mai Vintage is like a vintage wonderland in a forest. All the memorabilia decorate the whole place. The resort connects to the restaurant through a beautiful rope bridge over the river. It is in the forest so expect to see insects, birds etc being so close to you. And it is hard to get without a driver. The staff is amazing. They would go extra mile when you need help with a smile.

Nostalgia overload - very interesting”
We stayed one night on the way to Khao Yai. The location doesn’t have much to walk or see close by but the hotel and sister hotel are full of things to see. There are old video/arcade games, hollywood nostslgia photos and figures. Easy to get lost while admiring the vast collection of things. Staff was nice but because a bad one language American it was hard to communicate - luckily my wife is Thai so all was good with assistance. Room was nice outside the pool with a balcony area overlooking the river. Would stay here again

The place is nice especially for children. My complaints are: 1) Shower water only luke warm, 2) Small comforter for bed, 3) Things close at the hotel early even the soda machine. But yes, it is very vintage/kitchy and the larger rooms are very nice. Would I stay again? Maybe.

Es ist ein sehr originelles Resort. Etwas kitschig aber mit viel Liebe zur Details. Das Zimmer: Gute Betten & Kopfkissen, leise A/C und Kühlschrank. Sehr gut. Einrichtung: ok - aber Top für das Preis/Leistung Pool area: klein aber gemütlich und fein Restaurant/Coffee Shop/ Lounges: Sehr gross und weitläufig mit viele lustige Dekorationen - ein ständiges kleines Erlebnis inklusiv Hängebrücke zum Frühstück/Restaurant! Man fühlt sich wohl.

ประทับใจทุกๆอย่างเลยค่ะ ห้องออกแบบได้ใกล้ชิดธรรมชาติ แต่ละห้องก็มีเสน่ห์ในแบบของตัวเองไม่ซ้ำกัน พนักงานให้บริการดี เจ้าของที่พักอัธยาศัยดีมากๆ nice สุดๆ อาหารเช้าอร่อย มีส่วนคาเฟ่ และร้านอาหารบ้านไม้ชายน้ำ อยู่ในบริเวณเดียวกัน สะดวกมาก เข้ามาพักที่นี่แล้วไม่อยากออกไปไหนเลย รู้สึกได้มาพักผ่อนอย่างแท้จริง เอาเป็นว่าคืนเดียวไม่พอ ต้องไปซ้ำอีกแน่นอนค่ะ

ห้องพักกว้างกว่าที่คิด ขอติเรื่องพื้นห้องน้ำที่มีคราบสกปรกอยู่บ้าง ช่วงดึกช่องเสียบคีย์การ์ดพัง ไฟดับทั้งห้อง แต่แจ้ง พนง.ไม่นานก็มาทำการแก้ไขให้ ตอนแรกจะเปลี่ยนห้องให้แต่มีช่างมาแก้ไขระบบไฟให้ในเวลาไม่นาน ตอนเย็นข้ามสะพานไปทานอาหารที่ร้านในเครือได้เลย อาหารเช้าอร่อยแต่อาจจะไม่หลากหลายเท่าไร แต่รวมๆถือว่าโอเคครับ ก่อนกลับแวะคาเฟ่ที่อยู่ในบริเวณที่พักได้เลย เรียกได้ว่าจบในที่เดียว ไม่ต้องขับรถออกไปข้างนอกเลยครับ สระว่ายน้ำเด็กๆชอบมาก มีอ่างน้ำวนให้แช่ด้วยครับ
