Awesome resort”
We stayed in a Jungle House the first few nights but we were not comfortable there, and the distance was inconvenient. We asked for something closer and they moved us into a Deluxe Garden View room at no extra cost, which we loved. While at Ban's, My GF took the Open Water Diver course and I did two fun dives. The facilities were excellent and the staff was highly professional. There are multiple convenience stores within a short distance, and countless restaurants which appeal a wide variety of tastes. We loved the local food, and even rented a motorbike for a day. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Koh Tao.

Perfect location and amazing services”
The hotel is quite big and probably one of the most popular on the island. It’s 10mins from the pier, the beach is just down the reception. Rooms are clean and spacious. The garden is beautiful and has 3 pools. You can find all amenities just outside the hotel (convenient store, restaurants, massage salons, cafés, bars,...). They propose many activities. I went snorkeling based on the recommendations of the lovely lady that welcomed us at the reception. I definitely recommend

Convenient for diving! Great value!”
I stayed here to do some fun diving. I stayed in the Jungle Room. Just an FYI, this is a decent walk (5 minutes) from the main resort, although there is a free golf cart shuttle on call via FB messenger or call/text. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and there were multiple pools across the resort. The resort is located near a 7/11, restaurants, and bars.

Exceptional”
This resort is somewhat alicart. I liked that very much. This is an eco friendly system. The waist water (not sewer) is used for the gardens etc. they have drying racks on the patio for your gear. We have been diving for about 20 years, so we did not take classes, but what we did observe, were quality skill classes. The food is well done and should provide something for everyone. Overall, we love this place, that is pretty much a village with everything you need. I recommend Bans to all ages.

Everything you ever needed”
As a diver/traveller, this resort offers everything you ever needed. Ban's Dive Resort is probably the largest resort on the island. It has 3 swimming pools, Spa, Largest Fitness on the island, two big restaurants, convenient stores, coffee shops, dive shop and of course fishbowl bar is always fun. Everything else evolved around here. We stayed in Deluxe Hilltop Room which was quite far up the hill but the view was good and they provide golf cart service. Room was nice and very clean and spacious. As a diver, Ban's Dive Center is probably the best in Koh Tao. Very professional dive operation and I felt that their dive boats are one of the most comfortable dive boats (I've tried several dive centers here). However, the overall quality of day dive boats on the island could improve (compare to Phuket or elsewhere in Thailand).

Bans is ideal for traveling divers. They have everything you could possibly need and offer well priced dives and diving classes. Otherwise the accommodations are nice, the restaurants are great, the location is great, and the staff are all very helpful. We didn’t want to leave.

We stayed in the ‘Jungle’ rooms. They are a 10 minute walk up the hill from reception and the beach. The walk is well worth it if you want new facilities away from the party scene on the beach at a great price.

Fantastic hotel ”
We stayed in a jungle house. The room was clean and tidy, there are 5 pools all together and our jungle house pool was lovely, and had a great view, slight issue with ants around the pool and the pool bar wasn’t open either day even though we were told it would be. Great service from staff, the hotel grounds are lovely too.

Perfect place for specific clients ”
Pros: thoughtful place perfect for the diving community, party goers and lazy couples that want to be close to the everything without walking too much. They care about the environment and the restaurant on the beach is great, we ate there everyday. Cons: these didn't bother us because we knew this going in. Very loud until midnight from the bar by the beach. Steep climbs to get to the hilltop rooms (we had garden view which is close to the beach and easy, but hard to know that unless you read comments before booking). A bit understaffed when we went to the restaurant, so takes time to get your order, esp when the place is full during obvious hours). Pools are used for diver training (it's a diving hotel :) but they usually have a free one for non divers available. Not many cons if you understand why. Great place, will def come back.

Really fantastic staff, great food and dive training was excellent! Some problems with illness of one of my sons meant we had to rearrange course and also a ferry trip. All sorted with no drama and with a smile!
