"I was a bit worried about the shower water after reading the reviews and was totally released after arrival. I stayed in 2 rooms in 5 days, the first one is a smaller room on 2nd floor, the second room is on the top level. Both of them have strong steady hot water for shower This was a beautifully designed boutique hotel sitting on the hill side a few minutes drive from the downtown. Slightly remote location gives the whole property a peaceful environment. All rooms are surrounding a beautiful courtyard with dinning terrace and swimming pool. Lush greens, oriental landscape and blooming flowers are embracing every corner of the place. Chilling out on the king size beds next to the pool after swimming became the daily routine during my stay. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The premium room is way too big for one person to stay. Bed is very comfortable and pillows are the best I’ve every had. Each room have a terrace facing the courtyard and the pool. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They were really trying hard to meet all the requirements you may have. It was also a pleasure to chat with the waiters at the restaurant and to know more about the life of local Laos and Luang Prabang young people. The manager is a nice humble guy constantly looking after the place in person. You can feel the tone was set up that in this place you were taken good care of by these people here. Lastly I have to mention the SPA at the top level of the hotel. Wensy was the masseur I fell in love with. Her massage released all the stress in my body and mind before and during my travel. I went 4 times within my 5 days stay for her treatment. If you stay here, the SPA is a must try."

"Noone was in the reception to help us check in. After waiting awhile I went to search someone. One girl was sitting in the restaurant and when I greeted her she said nothing and just stood up and walked to the reception. Then she couldn't find my booking although I showed her my booking confirmation and name. Ofcourse she didn't speak any English. We waited 20min until we finally got the key. Room was not what we expected from the pictures. It's okay but not that nice. Bathroom and shower door need fixing. Carpet was dirty a bit. But the worst part was that when we were having our breakfast (and it wasn't buffee like it shows in the photos) the same lady went to our room. My partner went to our room and he saw that she was looking under the matress. When I talked to the owner, he explained that my boyfriend had asked toilet paper from the lady and she only went to toilet to put it there. That's not true and there was no paper after that too. So it's a very weird situation."
