A very nice place to stay Wish I had stayed longer”
I can only tell you what I like about this place. The View! This is the best thing, but the staff comes in a very close second. Very nice people and a nice place. The nicest thing is you never have to go any place else once you arrive here, they provide meals, guides and advice on how to accomplish your travel goals. I had not planned on going to Sagada, but really wanted to and found out while staying there a small van can take you there from Bunaea. The views and the ride on that van are worth the ticket price alone. You will need half a day to get to Sagada and then to ride the bus back to Manilla. The bus leaves Sagada in the morning to 3 A at night from Sagada, so it is not for the easy chair type traveler. I would recommend an extra day in Banuea post Rice Field Tour (more climbing than tunnel, but not as slippery a path as the tunnels) to recover before pushing on to Sagada and more hiking and tunnels (very steep climbs in and out of the tunnels).

Wonderful hotel with an amazing view of the rice terraces ”
For our first night, we had a room with the view of the rice terraces.... just beautiful. And the room was comfortable. Clean and quiet. Shared bathrooms are clean and hot shower after a good trek is always appreciable. The staff are lovely, very helpful. We extended a second night. They have breakfast menu and dinner as well. Vegetarian options!!!

I used the facility as a rest stop, did not spend the night but i was very satisfied with the greetings from the one in charge, her staff, and overall experience.They gave the room with the rice terraces view, for the same price i paid, the shared bathroom is very clean , and although i only used the bed for a few hrs. it was very comfortable and the room is very clean. Wish i had stayed longer, but next time i go back to Banawe this is the place i'll stay.

I highly recommand this guesthouse ! It's only 10 minutes walk from the tourism center. The rooms are confortable and very clean, and so are the bathrooms. Beatriz and her family are lovely and helpful. She arranged a trek with a very good guide for me. Also the food is delicious and you can have it with a beautiful view on the mountain and rice terraces

Best option in Banaue ”
The sweetest women run this operation and I enjoyed staying there so much I came back again after visiting Batad. It is clean, comfortable and great value. Don’t hesitate to get meals cooked here. The fried fish and French toast were both delicious. They also provided free tap water refills which gave me no issues.

Pros: - I arrived by bus from Manila at 4.30am and was able to check into my room without extra charge, which was great. - the room was comfortable and very clean with space to store your things in a cupboard - view from the room was outstanding - shared bathroom was always clean - location is great, a 10 min walk from the town proper - all you need can be had at the homestay. They can arrange tours for you (although more expensive than others) and you can buy all your meals here too (breakfast, lunch, dinner), which is great. And they are tasty, freshly made and a good price too! Cons: - the room was a little cold, the blanket wasn't enough for me. The windows let in air and are single glazed so it gets cold in the room at night. It would be good to provide a second blanket for those who feel colder than most. - the wifi was only turned on when you asked about it, which is frustrating. Also it didn't work as well as other places in town.

Banaue Homestay is perfectly located, close to everything and a very nice view. The staff is the kindest we could find in the Philippines, always there to help you with a smile. Beatriz found a guide for us (Jody) to make a 3 day trek in the rice fields and it was perfect! We could not ask for better and would recommend this place to everybody!

Great and peacefull place to go on trek ! Nice view. The room is confortable, you can have food in the living room, shared bathroom, hot water (if no electricy cuts). They can advise you a guide and I would recommend to take Beatrice guide.

The staff are so welcoming and they gave us more information about the different places to visit. ”
They also let us leave our big bags as we stayed overnight in Batad. This was extremely helpful as the hike to Batad and back was quite difficult. We really appreciated the gesture.

Great place in a very good location, they also help and arrange for activities and transfers. Amazing lovely staff! Super super clean and quiet this place. Breakfast and dinner is ok. Sadly no Wifi available. Shower and toilet for sharing - no shower in the room! We definitely come again!
