more than what i've expected - satisfied! ”
It's our first time staying in Bangkok City Hotel and we are pretty satisfied with the hotel (including service). Truly more than what we have expected! We have arranged for an airport transfer (2-ways) directly from the hotel and we were pretty amazed that the person waited for us for more than an hour!!(Due to flight delay). The person still greeted us and offered to carry our luggage. These gestures really gave us a very good first impression of the hotel. It will be perfect if the hotel offers complimentary free airport transfer. Haha. We stayed there for 3 nights and they made up our room every single day - CLEAN & TIDY! The room size was just nice for us. The bathroom was clean with a bath tub. The things that I felt lacking are a shower screen which will prevent the water from splashing all over the bathroom floor. Another tip: Please bring your own toiletries & dental care (Toothbrush & Toothpaste). The breakfast was a complimentary to all hotel guests. The food served was average but it was good enough for us. The location was accessible to train station and major shopping malls. Massage parlours can be found along the same street of the hotel. Best of all, there is a convenience stall just below the hotel where you can purchase your drinks & snacks even in the wee hours of the night. Another thing I would like to compliment is the honesty and the helpfulness of the hotel staff. I have actually left my iphone charger in the hotel room when we checked out of the hotel. I came to realisation only in a couple of hours later. The service staff assisted me to check and they returned it to me. Thanks for going the extra mile for my carelessness. Overall, we have a pleasant stay in Bangkok City Hotel and we will definitely choose this hotel if we ever visit Bangkok again.

Lovely hotel with very convenient location.”
I went there for my 4 days trip. It was such a great experience staying at Bangkok City hotel. The hotel locates at Siam which is the city center. It takes us only 10min to walk from the hotel to Siam Paragon and MBK.Less than 10min to walk to Plantinium. The area around BKK city hotel is full of street-vendor resto and massage shop. There is one good massage shop near Ratchathewi station, you get out of the station, walk straight to the hotel direction. The shop is the first one you see on ur left hand side! Moreover, from the hotel, u turn right to Siam paragon direction, over the bridge, you will find a Currency exchange store, they have best rate there ( nearest to MBK mall). Well, I really had a good trip with my boyfrend at this hotel. Cozy and comfy. I'd love to come back to this hotel next time. <3 BKK and BKK city hotel!

Exceptional Value for Money”
i originally booked a 7 night stay at bangkok city hotel. in fact i was so pleased with the hotel that i extended for a further 7 nights. that says a lot for a 3 star hotel where the average traveler stays for 2 or 3 nights. as far as i am concerned in this price range and for the location being 1 stop away on the bts from the infamous siam paragon shopping mall, you simply cannot get better value in bangkok! large room with king size bed, big bathroom, clean and newly built, this hotel will certainly give their competitors a tough time. the hotel is situated in a very local area which is interesting especially at night when the street restaurants set up. i would highly recommend this hotel without any doubt.

Hotel that's worth more than it's value!”
The hotel is clean with nice furnishes! Shared toilet is clean as well. Breakfast provided is ok~ (Perhaps different menu for each day would be good as we stayed there for 5 days) Service provided is good. Most of the time there are staff who helped to open the door, welcoming you back/out of the hotel. (Making it feels like a 5 star service) On our last day, we decided to check out the hotel early for last minute shopping leaving our luggage in the hotel. Staff did not hesitate to help us out and assisted us in the process very quickly. (Thank you!) Also, during our departure, there's one helpful staff which helped us enthusiastically leading us the way to our taxi, helping with our luggage. (I'm sorry that we ran out of cash! >.<) Rooms are clean and spacious. Room service was good and our room is always clean and tidied with new towels, toilet rolls when we came back from our shopping activities. Bottled of water (FOC!) in our fridge is also being replenished, we really appreciate that! It's well located near a 7-eleven (5 mins walk), 3 massage center (3 mins walk and 10 mins walk), street food stall. Quite a distance from Siam area (20-30 mins walk to MBK), Platinum Mall (45 mins), but still manageable. Things to improve: 1. My friend requested for wake up call but there wasn't any call from staff. (Perhaps it's too late when we made the request) The hotel may want to improve the system? 2. We realized that the bed sheet was not changed for days. Maybe the hotel could consider changing them once every 2 days? 3. In the morning, it's hard for guests (same as us) who are heading down for breakfast. (Although we do not really have a problem as we're staying at a higher level but i could see that guests at the lower level had a harder time) All in all, it was a very pleasant and happy stay in Bangkok City Hotel. I will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends who are going there. And it's definitely worth more than what you've paid!

A brand new and modern hotel”
We moved from a hotel near Khaosan Road to Bangkok City Hotel for one night just because it's only 300 meters away from BTS station (Ratchathewi Station) and thus very convenient for transportation to the airport. It's still one BTS station away from the shopping center (Siam squre etc.), which would take about 25 minutes by foot. The the rooms of the type we booked (superior/standard double) were all occupied when we checked in, so the hotel upgraded our room for free. We stayed on their highest floor (22nd) and enjoyed a great birdsview of the Bangkok city. The room was nice and pretty new, decorated in mordern business and simple style. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was a good combination of Thai and western food, with many choices.

7D6N in Bangkok”
Room was spacious and clean. Location of hotel is good, about 10 minutes walk from Ratchathewi bts train station which is really convenient. There is a 7-11 right next to the hotel. For the Muslims there are plenty of Halal food stalls across the street from the hotel, you just gotta open your eyes. Getting to places around Bangkok was easy, get to Ratchathewi station and take the train to anywhere (Siam Paragon, Platinum, Chatuchak). At night for those looking for bars/clubs, I would recommend going to Sukhumvit Soi 11. Take the train to Nana station, go down from exit 3 and then turn right. Soi 11 should be on your right, a small road with bars and clubs on both sides. For cheaper alternatives you can probably try going to Khao San road but it's a little too far from Bangkok City Hotel in my opinion. But if you don't wanna go that far to Nana even, there's a place called Coco Walk next to Ratchathewi stn (exit 4), no clubs there but plenty of bars with live music sometimes. Overall I had a really good time here with my best friend. I am planning to come here again sooner or later. Have fun!

Nice and very comfortable hotel”
It was a nice experience for staying at Bangkok City Hotel. This hotel is very easy to reach. Located in the main road, near BTS Ratchathewi. Only about 5 minutes to Platinum Fashion Market and Pratunam Market, MBK Mall, Siam Centre, Siam Parago, etc by BTS Train. The hotel receptionists speak quite good English. If you are interested in local food, lots of food stalls around the hotel in the evening, with reasonable price. Don't forget to bring toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers as they don't provide them in the room.

Great location & Customer service”
This my first time stay with Bangkok City hotel with my husband & family. Though we didnt really enjoy this trip because my mom was having food poisoning seriously on the second day. Hotel staff all very helpful and accessible. They are patience, friendly, help to find nearest clinic and wanted to arrange ambulance for hospital. But my mom insisted to go clinic instead of hospital, so v waited for the clinic doctor who only in from 6pm onwards. There is an elder bellboy whom I forgot to note his name, he helped to check when the doctor came, and immediate inform us, helped to send my mom to clinic by wheelchair. He came back clinic to fetch us after my mom's treatment, waited for us for half hour with a big umbrella. Till that we only noticed it is about to rain. We really panic and worry yet in a strange country, therefore lost minded. Fortunately we have all those kind hotel staffs guidance and help. I want to take this opportunity to extend my greatest appreciation to all Bangkok City Hotel front desk and operation staffs. Thank you so much for all you've done for us. I definitely wont go for other option beside Bangkok City Hotel for next trip to Bangkok!

Great budget hotel with good service and location”
We stay here for 4 nights on our first bangkok free and easy trip. We love the hotel location, turn right from the hotel and go straight for 5 mins and the Ratchthewi BTS station will be on your right hand side at the road junction. If you keep going straight after the road junction for another 10 - 15 mins walk, you will reach Pantip plaza and Platinum fashion mall. Or you can pay 60 baht for tuk tuk to go platinum mall outside the hotel, the bellboys will assist you to get a tuk tuk upon your request, and they are very helpful. The breakfast is okay for me although there are the same dishes everyday, consider the price you pay for the hotel. Room is clean and big, plus a big LCD TV with lot channels. Bathroom is okay although there is not curtain. All the pictures from Agoda are exactly the same look when you reach Bangkok City hotel, remember to get a free map on the check in desk as well as the hotel card, just show any tuk tuk or taxi drivers the hotel card and they will bring you back, do not try to speak "Bangkok City Hotel" in English to them as some of the drivers may not know English well or they may not know the location of the hotel, the hotel card in both English and Thai translation will solve your problem.

Best Budget Hotel Ever”
It was my second stay in Bangkok City Hotel. Although there's no "view" from the hotel rooms, I enjoyed my stay nonetheless. I would recommend Bangkok City Hotel to people who are looking at Clean and comfortable room. From the hotel, it is only a 10-min walk to Platinum Mall, 15 min walk to Siam area. By Taxi, you can go to RCA clubs, and that takes about 100-150 baht. There's a 7-eleven just right beside the hotel lobby. Only cons were that the area can be a little dark at night, the corridors of the rooms are dim. Nonetheless, worth the stay!

Best Hotel Experienced Ever 2016”
Hi, I've been to Bangkok lots of time...ever since I started to take my leave & decided with my friends on a vacation...like was in 2012...till now. Didn't really get those good hotel accommodation yet...for the past years...until this Bangkok City Hotel...that I found in the app in smartphone...saw all others reviews...but sometimes...can't believe everything too. But indeed I was wrong...it turns out to be so "Superb" & "Great"...experience it have ever had. Thanks a lot for the managers & staffs for all their hard work & efforts. To make us as "tourists"...feels & having a cosy/clean/nice/worthy$/facilities/meals/friendliness/helpfulness even though I see at times...the Front counter are so crowded with others tourists just came in for "check in"...& still the staffs will help us "existing" tourist with any help we need...great job!! :) :) :) Overall, to me is a very very excellence/great/good/kudos/bravo/nice experienced for me this time round. I'll be back to book this hotel again soon...whenever I've planned my next trip again. For sure. Big Thanks to all staffs!!! Thank you so much. Cheers!! :) :)

“Nice budget hotel 550 m from BTS skytrain”
Third time I’ve stayed at Bangkok City hotel. Room rate 1,190 – 1,290 THB which is a fair and cheap price for this hotel. On check-in you’ll be asked 100 THB deposit for the keycard to your room. Free fast speed WIFI is all over the hotel, ask for your connection at the reception. This hotel has a majority of Chinese and other Asian guests. So it can be noisy in times… but this doesn’t bother me, some Western travelers might find this disturbing… Nice clean room with a good bed, desk, flat screen tv with some channels in English, water cooker, refrigerator and a nice bathroom with bathtub. Breakfast is included. Basic buffet; you can choose between Asian ( rice, noodle, etc…) or Western food (coffee, juice, croissants, bread, butter, jam, eggs,…) I always choose this hotel when arriving or leaving Thailand, 30 mins taxi ride from Suvarnabhumi airport. Taxi from the airport around 250 THB + 70 THB express way. BTS Ratchathewi (skytrain) station is 550 m away from the hotel. Exit the hotel, turn right on to Petchaburi Road. Walk to the crossing of Phetchaburi and Phayathai Road. Turn right at the crossing, you’ll find the stairs to the BTS just around the corner. Siam is the next station on Sukhumvit Line, towards Bearing. Exit the hotel, turn right on Petchaburi road… Pantip Plaza (indoor IT shopping mall) is 1 km or 13 mins, Platinum fashion mall is 1.2 km or 16 mins, Pratunam Market is 1.5 km or 19 mins walk away. There’s a Seven Eleven shop 30 m, exit the hotel and turn left.

Great comfort environment but uneffective staffs”
I had experienced a great time at Bangkok City Hotel, Thailand. It had successfully provides a 4 star facilities & services eventhough it rated as 3 star hotel only. I was happy to stay with friends during vacation. I'll recommend to the travelers surround me if they wish to have a trip to Thailand. And I'll continue to support the hotel if I have a chance again. However, there are some comments that I would like to raise up which hotel may take into consideration to improve the hotel service in the future. Firstly, the hotel staffs (reception) didn't present a friendly behaviour to the tourists like they used higher tone of volume to answer the tourists' questions during peak time. Inteed, staffs need to be more be careful next time to avoid the overlapping room booking mistake so that the conflict between customers and staffs can be reduced. Last but not least, if possible; extend the area of breakfast space to avoid overcrowded condition especially during breakfast time. So, I wish that hotel can always serve with the top services & facilities, and more effective man power. Thanks.

very good location near BTS Metro land clean”
This hotel is very near the Rachtawee BTS metro station which could bring you to most attractive shoppping place in Bangkok ie: Siam Paragon , Siam center , Siam Square , Central world , Selom and Pratoonum. This is a newly clean hotel with swimming pool and also has a fair for price breakfast. The parking zone is rather narrow and difficult to park but also have space to park since most of the customer are foreigner. I will recommend this hotel if you have a business in this area of Bangkok.

Great budget hotel with complete basic necessities”
hotel staffs doesn't speak or understand much english. print 2 copies of your agoda hotel voucher. keep a copy for your own reference. the hotel lost my copy & claimed that i did not pay for my room when i check out. luckily there was a free wifi available so i log in to my email a/c from my mobile & retrieve the softcopy booking email to show to the reception lady that i've already paid for my room. concierge was very helpful. breakfast selection is quite good tho but you have to be early @ 7am to reserve a seat as the restaurant dining area is quite small & packed with people. i only ate the bread, fruits & cereal as the rest of the food is not halal. the hotel offers great complete basic necessity for a budget hotel. worth the price & value for money, tho bed was hard! but doesn't bother me cos i was too dead tired to think abt it when i slept! shower tub reminds me of jacuzzi tub! so cute! can sit down while showering especially when i'm too tired to stand after shopping whole day! hotel is strategically located near bts station. only about 10-15 min walk. 1 station away from siam paragon & near to mbk shopping centre. there is a linking bridge from siam station to central world shopping centre & to chit lom station for shopping fanatics. less than 10 min via tuk-tuk for 60tb for 3 persons from pratunam to hotel. bargain with the tuk-tuk driver first before you hop on. there is a 7-11 & massage place near to hotel. very convenient. avoid the morning tuk-tuk 20tb offer from driver (who always stationed himself in front of samran place). they'll bring you elsewhere and earn commission. hard to get taxi which uses meter.

Relaxing and comfortable in the hotel. ”
We have a wonderful 5days 4 nights in Bangkok. We are happy to stay in this hotel. The hotel staff are friendly and they can speak english very well. The hotel taxi drivers are very friendly and helpful too. We have a big, clean and comfortable room. The bed is very soft and a big bathroom with a bathtub. This hotel also provided a speed wifi. There is a seven eleven on the left hand side of the hotel. There are many good massage centre nearby the hotel with 200bath per hour. The location of this hotel is good because its near to many famous shopping mall. We have about 15-20 minutes walking distance to Platinum Mall and pratunam market. We can reach the nearest BTS Ratchathewi within 5-10 miniutes walking distance from the hotel. From this BTS we went to chatuchak, temples, Siam paragon and MBK for about 20-40 bath per trip. At night, there are many food stall along the road from the hotel to BTS Ratchatewi. We prefer take a taxi ride (by meter bill) than the tuk tuk coz its worth in money and safe. From the hotel we only spend about 50-65 bath per trip on taxi meter to china town. Before we get into the taxi, we always ask the driver to confirm charged in meter instead of charged in per trip. This is because of one time We have been charged 100 bath per trip(although no traffic jam) to china town from this hotel. We likes the foods in Bangkok coz its very tasty,eg : fried chicken, grill fish ball, tom yam noodles, fresh mango and pineapple at chatucak. We will stay in this hotel again if we come to Bangkok city again in future. Surely we will recommend this hotel to friends if they visit Bangkok again.

Best location you can get!!!”
Stayed here for 5days,4nights and made the Best decision ever! The Bts,Ratchethewi,is just 5-10minutes away. Their breakfast spread was consistent throughout but worth waking up to everyday,do be there by 10am as any later n you won't get anything. The housekeeping was very prompt n fast in their service n duty. All working in the hotel seemed to be enjoying their work. The WiFi was very strong n consistent throughout my 5day stay, another plus to stay here n going to any night market would not be an issue as there are plenty of tuk-tuk n taxi drivers outside,do bargain n get to know/befriend with them as they might show you places not many know,we were brought to a seafood restaurant that was really good n cheap due to that. And if you want to watch soccer/have a drink there's a place, just at the bts itself to do so and plenty of cheap street food n night market all around the hotel n bts itself...do explore, definitely worth the walk. All in all,a FANTASTIC stay with NO REGRETS whatsoever. Only drawback is that the lifts are slow, though you can try your luck using the staff lift n the breakfast area n concierge are all at the same place,so you might be taken aback. All in all, this was a FANTASTIC stay with NO REGRETS whatsoever n will DEFINITELY STAY here again if I'm back at Bangkok...Kudos Bangkok City hotel n Thanks for your brilliant service n location.

Budget hotel in strategic location”
Me and my friends stayed in this hotel for 5 days. Location is strategic, in front of the main road of Petchaburi, near from Pratunam, Platinum, Pantip Plaza, Siam Paragon, MBK & Indonesian Embassy. This is good for moslem travellers because across the hotel is Soi 7 that full of HALAL restaurants and Daarul Aman Mosque. I recommend Warung Hayati at Soi 7, the food is very nice and cheap, and of course HALAL. Rachatewi BTS is 10 minutes walk. Room are very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with some choices. One thing that we don't like from this hotel is WiFi, very week. Overall, we were happy staying at Bangkok City Hotel. Recommended for budget traveller :)

Cozy and nice hotel on the busy street”
I found this hotel by suggest from a businessman that I known him on my last visit to Bangkok. So I booked by Agoda. Really it's a nice, cozy, comfortable and budget hotel on the busy street. It was easy to reach various destination from here, such as cultural and culinary tour, relaxation, shopping and also go to church or mosque. The room was big, clean, modern with the minimalist style. Also could enjoy the view of this city through the wide window. The food were good with the taste of Asian and Continental. This hotel prepared the internet room so the guests could access the internet and did some print-out. How a pleasant time to spend my visit here !! Thanks to Agoda and Bangkok city Hotel !!! I will be stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok.
