Best Place To Stay In Bangkok”
At the Bangkok Patio you get an entire, spacious and well-appointed apartment for the price of a hotel room. It is a stone's throw from the station, which makes all of Bangkok accessible in only a few mere minutes. THe BTS is the best way to get around Bangkok, almost all main tourist areas are within walking distance to the BTS. This is a great place to stay for families or for groups. The apartments have kitchens with ranges and microwaves and full size fridges. There is free laundry machines on the second floor. There is also a nice pool and sauna. There is no restaurant but there are many options for food. The hotel tuk tuk will take you to the nearest restaurants. Be sure to ask them to take you to the local seafood restaurant near the hospital. You can also have room service from any of the local restaurants and the front desk will take care of the ordering for you. Also, The area of Ari is only a few blocks away and has awesome local restaurants. You'll find independent and creative shops, bars, coffee houses, galleries and restaurants there where you can hang out with the local hipsters, artists and lots of European expats. The international PhayaThai hospital is withing walking distance. If you are in Bangkok for medical tourism, this hotel will make your stay as comfortable as possible. They also will help you with translations, find you a nanny, help you with your business needs like faxing and printing, etc. This hotel is owned and operated by a family and thus the hospitality is superior to more commercial hotels. After only a few days of staying at the Bangkok Patio you will truly feel like you are staying with "family".
Hidden Bangkok gem, close to BTS”
This was my second time staying at the Bangkok patio and absolutely loved it. This is an apartment/self serve style hotel, so if your looking for expensive in-hotel restaurants and services, this might not be for you. All rooms are modern, clean, spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, flat screen televisions, free wifi. The pool, fitness center, sauna and laundry room are all very nice and always seemed to be completely empty, it always feels like we have the place to ourselves. The location is a 2 min walk to the BTS and they also have a tok tok that will drive and pick-up from the BTS as well. It's just far enough to be outside of the overcrowded craziness of Bangkok, but close enough to be in the center of it all within a few stops on the BTS. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I will continue to return to the Bangkok Patio on my future visits, it's a great value with features and cleanliness that most other hotels charge double for
Spend 4 nites in Bangkok Patio over the CNY weekend. Our second time there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was a short walk from Sanam Pao BTS which is handy to Chatuchak market. A short ride also bring you to the shopping malls in central BKK. Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable and functional. There is a smallish mall - Seasons mall and the Sanam Pao market beside it. Lots of food options. The hotel receptionist is very friendly . I will stay again when in Bangkok. Highly recommended.
Clean and comfortable”
I like staying in Bangkok Patio especially being a muslim traveler, it could be quite hard to find halal food in non muslim country. But since Bangkok Patio provides kitchen (very clean kitchen) with all the necessary stuffs for cooking, we can buy everything we need from the market and cook our own meals. The market is not too far from the hotel, just within a walking distance but the hotel provides its own tuk tuk that can be used by the residence at any time up until 10pm. The location got 3/5 stars because it is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main road and the nearest train station. So for travelers without Thai's sim card, it could be difficult to call the hotel to ask for tuk tuk to fetch from the train station back to the hotel. Of course we can just walk to the hotel but after like 5-6 hours of shopping you will need a tuk tuk to fetch you back to the hotel.
2nd Time Just as Good”
We loved Bangkok Patio so much, we cancelled a different booking for our last night in Bangkok and opted to stay at the Bangkok Patio again. The rooms are comfortable, and clean. The staff is awesome and the location is fantastic. It's close to the BTS but not noisy. The massage spa they partner with is also excellent. Take an hour or two and book a Thai massage while you stay at the Bangkok Patio. I'll recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Bangkok.
Peaceful and everything you need.”
My partner and I stayed at Bangkok Patio, and had a 5/5 experience. Nothing bad to say. The hotel was in a very good location near transport, local markets and 7-11 (everything you need) the staff were absolutely wonderful, helping us with any questions, directions, and recommendations. the hotel is very clean, feels very safe, and they will help you get to the nearest station and market for free by tuk-tuk. Very fun! (Tipping optional, but recommended as a traveler) it has all the facilities you'll need, great pool, showers, gym, lockers, and all the nessesities. The room we stayed at was on the 5th floor, with a view to the side of the building which was bliss to say the least. They have all the cooking equipment you would need for a lengthy stay, and really feels like a mini home in a new place. We would definitely recommend, and be back in he future as everything was wonderful. TLDR; Fantastic place, great location, wonderful staff and everything you need. 5/5 all around.
great place to stay”
It is stated the check-in time is 1400, but we took a morning flight. I sent an email asking them if we could leave our luggage there earlier, and I appreciate their quick and helpful response. When we arrived, we did an early check-in as the room was ready. Again, I appreciate that very much! We booked a 1-bedroom apartment and requested for an extra bed, but they were nice enough to upgrade us to a 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The only criticism perhaps is the "not very fast" wifi, but it's still fine. The staff are nice and helpful. The tuk-tuk drivers are very nice and thoughtful. Thank them for their help during our stay! We'd love to stay at Bangkok Patio Apartment again when we travel to Bangkok!
Comfortable location and room”
I stayed in the Bangkok Patio Apartment for ten days. It was my first time staying there. It's close to the BTS and about a ten minute walk. The motor bike taxi is only 10 baht. However the Patio Apartment also provides a free tuk tuk shuttle. I used it daily for a ride to the BTS and a few times to resturants in the area. The are alot of resturants in the area. The BTS was very good going shopping and anywhere in Bangkok. No traffic worries and I avoided some lines by buying a BTS rabbit card. However the BTS gets crowded so avoid rush hour 5-7 pm. The Patio Apartment rooms are comfortable and I would stay there again. Rooms are cleaned every two days. But they will give you clean towels if you ask for them. The Apartment has a pool and gym. I used both often even though the pool was cold. The gym and pool close at 10 pm. The area around the apartment is very local a few condos and apartments. I used the Patio room service for food several times. It was great and very good price. I highly recommend trying it. Staff and management were very friendly and spoke English well. I enjoyed talking with them as they were very helpful. Lovely birds calling in the morning were very impressive. It made my morning very relaxing. Kitchen and living room are very nice. Outside patio is very nice and I left my door open to listen to the birds in the morning. I would recommend this apartment it's quiet and I enjoyed my stay there very much.
Spacious Apartment with friendly staff”
I booked the Studio room at Bangkok Patio Apartment just a night before my stay. I arrived early in the morning. The staff was very helpful to allocate me a great room. They gave me an upgrade to Two Bedroom Apartment. The room was spacious and fully-equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can call them to call a taxi for you or ask them for a ride to the bts station. Even the security guard give me a very good advice for a nearby restaurant. I will recommend this hotel to my friend and come back to this place every time I visit bkk!! :)
Stayed with a friend”
My friend flies in from Sydney int9 Bangkok and I travel from the UK. We have two weeks of soaking up all that’s good about Bangkok as well as spending quality time with each other. We like to stay in the Ari area as we prefer not to be your typical ‘tourist’ in so much we like living side by side with Thai people. The Bangkok Patio catered for all our needs and requirements, in terms of location, pool area for the down times, the added bonus was the complimentary Tuk Tuk which took us between the apartment and the BTS. We loved it so much we have already made our booking for next year.
We have 4 nights stayed at Bangkok Patio Apartment, with children and elder. The staffs are very nice and friendly. On the leaving day, my wife forgot her iPhone on the bed, my kid forgot her Teddy bear somewhere. We only learned that fact when we already checked in the airport and not able to come back. I called the reception and he quickly went for searching the missing items, and quickly found them. They kept them safe and I just take them back, when I come to Bangkok on a business trip. Can't express how thankful we are. Obviously will stay here again on our next trip. Highly recommended.
Good service, Good location.”
I would recommend staying at Bangkok Patio because of the good service (helpful staff), good location (near the Victory Monument, next to the BTS Sa-nam-Pao station and just 3 stations to Chatuchak weekend market),nice pool, many English channels on cable TV and good quality apartment.
well placed and comfortable”
I spent 3 nights at the Bangkok Patio Hotel. Checkin was fast and friendly. I had booked a single room apartment but on checkin was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. There was adequate cooking equipment, crockery and utensils although I never did find any glasses. The food delivered to the room was OK but with the skytrin so close I normally ate out. Good and friendly tuktuk transport to the station.
“Probably the best kept secret in Bangkok””
i have finally got around to writing a review about this place. this place is a total hidden gem of bangkok! clean room, spacious room(in a good price), quiet - because most guests are long-stay customers, good gym, good swimming pool, spacious sun bathing area, nice owner and staffs especially the main gate guard, good location near to bts (but still providing shuttle van!)... excellent apartment. a really great serviced apartment, i'm never staying in hotels again. i've stayed in quite a few places around the world including thailand and i have to say bangkok patio was one of those pleasant surprises. a great apartment, quiet location but only a short taxi ride to most attractions.
Wonderful, quiet stay!”
My family really enjoyed our 4 nights in Bangkok Patio Apartments. We got a room with two-bedrooms and were pleasantly surprised to find that it also had 2 bathrooms (one with a very nice shower, the other with a nice tub) AND a washing machine. The staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful. It's close enough to the BTS line that we could get downtown comfortably in probably 15 minutes (including the free tuk tuk ride to the train station). We'd gladly stay there again!
Very comfortable apartment with good price”
Patio is recommended by one friend, and it indeed didn't disappoint me. It's big enough, the facilities in the room are very good. Everything is comfortable. The location is quite good with a subway nearby. It may takes 5 mins to walk to 711.The room is very quite. Patio is really a good choice for a family which wants to live longer in Bangkok. I would come again.
It's near to the bts station(about 5 minutes) there's also free tuktuk car from Bangkok Patio offering you a free ride to the bts station. I have to recommend the staff of Bangkok Patio since they are so kind and warm, not to mention their fluent English communication! Again! 100% recommend!
My one week stay at the Bangkok patio hotel was just purely splendid. The receptionists are sweethearts and the cleaning staff are wonderful. The facilities are quaint as well--the pool, sauna, gym & showers. The receptionist helped my friends and I with any information and made our stay feel at home. I would definitely stay at this serviced apartment. Highly recommended.
Great comfortable stay”
We stayed a couple of nights in Bangkok for we went to the islands. Had a great stay at Patio. Nice full furnished appartment with kitchenette, comfort bed, free internet and big screen tv with international cable tv. Good badroom. The personal where very friendly and helpfull. Spoke good english and we had free transportation by tuk tuk to the nearby Skytrain station. To walk to and from Skytrain station is about 10 minutes from the appartments but great service by free transportation from and to the station on request between 10 am and 21:30. We recommend this if you want to stay in a nice appartment, in a not to busy neighbourhood. There is no breakfast, but you have a large fridge and a supermarket and bakery are not far from the appartment. You can order take away meals at the reception.
Friendly staff, value for money”
Pros: Near chatuchak market Near to Grand palace, jim thompson and other attractions Market nearby with lots of streetfoods Season mall nearby, can walk Free tuk tuk ride to the mall, market and nearby train station Friendly staff, accomodating Free laundry Very clean room, they will clean evry 2 days Quiet and secured place Spa is just 3 mins away A lot to say about but to sum up all, will definitely stay here again when in Bangkok!!:)
