Millennium Hilton Bangkok

"Excellent hotel and service but one of the worst Club Lounges I have seen in Bangkok. Not to say it wasn't good but in comparison to what other 5 star hotels in Bangkok have on offer this Club Lounge felt like it was lacking a lot. The service is excellent and food was a very high standard and the Sunday Brunch was the best I have seen in Bangkok. But everything else seemed very expensive, drinks, food, room service etc..... in comparison with other 5 star hotels in Bangkok it is not value for money. "

Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel

"Avani Riverside offers great value for your money. The hotel is very modern and elegant and it offers a breathtaking view over the Chao Phraya river, Asiatique Nightmarket and the skycrapers of Bangkok Riverside. The perfectly clean room was equipped with a super comfy 2,40m bed and an open bathroom. The rooftop area with an infinity pool and a fancy bar was another highlight. Breakfast also was delicious with a huge variety of dishes. The staff was extremely friendly and happy to help with anything. Since the hotel is somewhat away from the center, there is a free hotel shuttle boat to Sathorn Pier. From there you can go anywhere by BTS or by boat. Close to the pier there are also lots of food stalls and authentic restaurants. All in all it was a great experience and we can really recommend this hotel!"

"Very nice hotel . I have already make 2 comments. I am now in another hotel in Bangkok which is totally bad . Montien Riverside hotel is the one you want a 5 star facilities and services. You definitely have to stay . If you have like 2 weeks or more . You can stay in Montien Riverside hotel for 7 nights . Free shuttle provided to silom area . And you can stay in downtown if you prefer night life . I will be going to Montien Bangkok hotel and stay 5 nights from 15 September. Hope I do receive the same standard of services. I would recommend my friends in UK to come . "

Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok
Bangkok Riverside,Bangkok Riverside - View on map
"This hotel is located by the riverside, where the best hotels are. There is only positive things to say about it:  - Perfect location (in the Saphan Taksin Skytrain stop). The hotel runs a boat that goes every 15m/30m (depending on the hour of the day) to that Skytrain stop. The boat takes only 5m and it is a really nice ride. - Instead of taking the boat to the Skytrain you can walk to the back streets where you can easily get taxis, get food in local eateries, buy stuff in local shops (there is a 7Eleven 1m away with normal street prices), get cheap massages (the ones offered together with the hotel are very expensive - probably very good but haven't tried myself) - The rooms are very big, super clean, modern, etc... - Wifi is included with the room and works spotless everywhere, from the rooms to the pool (I had a room on the 21st floor) - The personnel very professional - The swimming pool is the best part of the hotel, it is a huge swimming pool located on the 6th floor from where you can see the whole Bangkok riverside. - If I had to think about negative points I can only think in the outreageous prices you have to pay for drinks or food in comparison with Bangkok prices (I only had a bottle of sparkling water during my stay - it costed like $8 if I recall correctly). But this shouldn't bother you at all as you can eat and drink in a million places outside the hotel."

"i need to stay here once again to really enjoy the other part of Bangkok.. last time i didn't get much time to explore around the hotel.. and it's quite far from Bangkok's main attractions.. so i was kinda waste my time on the road.. you may need to learn thai to speak with the staff, it will be a lot easier.. but i got no problem with this Hotel.. we love staying here 🥰.. plus, they have smart TVs, you can enjoy watching netflix or get inspired by watching what to do in Bangkok on Youtube. thank you, Scene Bangkok! Hotel Once Bangkok
Bangkok Riverside,Bangkok Riverside - View on map
"It was kind of tricky to locate the hotel initially, enter by Soi Charoen Krung 72/2 will lead you to the lobby and carpark. Check in was swift and credit card is required for deposit. Room is spacious and well equipped, wifi fast, bed comfortable but somewhat low for our liking. Toilet shower head was tricky to use and the hot water doesn’t seem to be hot, the bathtub shower was excellent though. Shower gel and shampoo was aromatic. Rooftop restaurant is beautiful, superior view over bangkok riverside . Food was excellent and delicious with competitive pricing. Overall a very good choice stay near the bangkok riverside with competitive pricing compared to the nearby hotels."

Amdaeng Bangkok Riverside Hotel

"One of the most nice to stay in Bangkok with great view of Chaopraya river. This place is beyond my expectation and perfect for couple looking for stay in a romantic scene. More than that - Nye restaurant in hotel is perfect fusion dish and value for money. Rooftop is great to chill at night with wide perspective. Recommended to spend one more night. "

ibis Bangkok Riverside
Bangkok Riverside,Bangkok Riverside - View on map
"Truth be told it was a great place to stay. Breakfast was not included through Agoda. I suggest that Agoda allow breakfast to be included in this hotel stay. That was a huge shock after staying at Ibis Bangkok Riverside for week. The hotel staff understood our concerns and only charged us breakfast for the weekend days. Great service. I have four small children ages 6 and triplet 4 year old they enjoyed the pool, but the pool was very called in the month of December. The time to go swimming would be early morning till about 1:00pm the pool doesn't get much sun. The location of Ibis Bangkok Riverside is a safe location. I traveled with friends with older children; ages 16, 14, and 12, they walked around the area on their own. There is a new shopping center close by with a Starbucks for those Starbucks lovers. There are also local coffee shops for those who do not like big chains so much. There is also a International Grocery store in the shopping center called Villa Market for those foreigners who live in places where getting western items are hard to find. The shopping center is called Sena Fest. My favorite part about the location of the hotel is the walking distance to the BTS train station that gets you to Siam World Center; MBK and other major tourist attractions. The ferry is close to take to the Grand Palace and Travlers road for backpackeres Kaosang road. I actually only planned on staying at the Ibis for 4 nights, but extended my stay for 10 nights. We loved exploring Bangkok! Thank you Ibis Riverside!"

Naga Residence
Bangkok Riverside,Bangkok Riverside - View on map
"The place is right beside Ibis Riverside Hotel. Room is big and spacious, bed is super comfortable and they provide basic amenities like water and some biscuits at the lobby. Service is excellent, staff was very helpful. One of the day, it was raining non-stop and one of the staff - Yo had even offered us her personal umbrella for the day. Bathroom - Water pressure is not one of the greatest but it does the job with good water heater. Location is a bit off from the main road so you have to make a bit of detour to get to BTS station or the Pepsi Pier for the ferry. At the main road, there are 2 7-11 shops and there are a number of food shops available for you from breakfast. Noted, all the shops are closed at late night."

sala rattanakosin Bangkok
Bangkok Riverside,Bangkok Riverside - View on map
"We really love the contemporary interior design of sala rattanakosin and most of all the fantastic view of Wat Arun from the deluxe room and hotel dining areas. So lovely at night when lit up! Breakfast and The River dining offers great food with attractive plating. The popular Rooftop bar has awesome view of Bangkok Riverside and other landmark sites like Wat Pho, Grand Palace, et al. Hotel has no elevator tho and is at the end of a strip of small shops, restos and right beside warehousing stores. Not favourable to seniors and the disabled. But the small restos have good food at affordable prices. There is a nice souvenir shop at the corner of the street. Wat Pho and Grand Palace are just walking distance and Wat Arun is just a short boat ride across the river. "

More about Bangkok Riverside

In some ways, Bangkok’s Riverside district is the heart of the city. Not only is it home to some of the best historic sites in Bangkok, but it also boasts a few luxury hotels that consistently feature in Asian Top 10 lists. Tourists who arrange accommodation along the Riverside are guaranteed the best views in Bangkok, plus access to iconic sites like the Grand Palace and Wat Arun.

Many of the best temples in Bangkok are here in the Riverside area. Major contenders include the Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun), Wat Thepakorn and Wat Dao Khanong. Tourists can visit these in the morning and evening, then head to air-conditioned shopping centers or take a river cruise during the heat of the day.

The Chao Phraya River is as relevant today as it ever was. Bangkok’s irresistible modern edge may have introduced high-rise hotels to the riverside landscape, but it’s possible to charter a long-tail boat and explore Bangkok's back canals (khlongs) for a glimpse of Thailand you wouldn't expect to see in the capital. A long-tail boat ride through the khlongs of Thonburi is an unforgettable experience: water dragons, stilt houses and children jumping from piers all part of the package.
