Good views and services”
Good views but the house wasn’t blocked noise from outside including people talking and there were insects inside the house. How ever I really like all staffs. They were nice, friendly and good service minds. Also, foods were good tests.

Famous hotel - cute but means LOTS of instagram crowd”
Hotel was very cute; 3 story building with open air shower, a wonderful rooftop patio, and very cute room design. The glass floor in the toilet was a little disconcerting though. The hotel also offers free bike use as well as a quick night tour of fireflies. Little things that do make a difference in enjoying the experience Only downside, the hotel is very famous, which means there are tons of people walking around and stopping near your room for the "Instagram shot". Means trying to get a meal here is difficult, service including checking out can be quite slow. Dinner also is only until 6 p.m. which if you are staying in the hotel can be a bit painful. Luckily there's a restaurant next door. Dont trust the in-room menu that says you can order after 7 p.m. service doesnt exist

Cool place to stay but not sure about the green credentials”
We really enjoyed our stay - they had bicycles available for us and were pretty helpful to us. The rooms were really fun and we enjoyed the roof-top balcony. Although they claim to aim for 'zero-waste' on their website we were given disposable plastic straws during our stay and plastic bottles of water in the fridge. These things are pretty mainstay in Thailand however I would expect this hotel to go to the extra effort to remove the need for unnecessary waste.

over-priced, could be greener ”
Bangkok Tree House promotes itself as a green hotel and we were happy to pay the over inflated prices to support a good cause. However, I was really disappointed to see plastic straws served with every drink and water served from single use plastic bottles. Even the toilet paper rolls in our room were individually wrapped in plastic! They also claim to remove 1kg of rubbish from the river for every room booking. But the view from the window in the floor of our room looking down to the ground below, did give me cause to wonder: plastic bottle, a bucket, an old shoe..... If their aim is to help clean up Bangkok waterways and become zero-waste, then there is still more they could be doing. Having said all that, the staff were really helpful, and it was a fun location for a short getaway from the business of Bangkok.

Beautiful natural setting”
Bangkok tree house is an ecofriendly and community-oriented hotel set in the beautiful bang nam phueng area of bangkok. It really does not feel like Bangkok here, more of a friendly village community. It is very wild here, full of life including huge monitor lizards! This is a great place to stay for those seeking a Glamping sort of experience outside the hustle and bustle of BKK.

Such a cool place!! And eco-friendly.”
The apartment was perfect, so stylish and romantic with a cool balcony, seats and tables under the stars and in the trees. Staff were so great and brought good food and drinks to our room for us when we ordered. Can rent a bike to get around the island there for no extra cost. Walkable to the pier. Most importantly they make an effort to be eco friendly, woo!

Hidden find in the city”
The good: nice place to relax, purely relaxing and do nothing but lazing around and a bit of cycling . Good nice restaurants around the little "island" as well. After some hard shopping in Bangkok, this might be a good place to just do NOTHING. Do not attempt to go over to seacon sq or paradise Park for shopping if u are staying <2days. The malls are not exactly near and far to big to be completed for shopping since u might not want to attempt to cross the river and walk late at night back to the hotel :) The not so good: never attempt to taxi into the hotel. It is impossible. Go instead to Bangna pier and ferry over or call the hotel for long tail boat service to pick u to the hotel. Travel light, do lots of eating and cycling and stop being a city person when staying there and you will be rewarded!

Great location to explore - very peaceful”
The rooms are amazing, with an open air bed on the room so you can look at the ocean and stars. The room itself is quirky and cool, and it feels nice to be surrounded by trees. The area is great to explore on a bicycle - a network of narrow paths over the swamp and through the forest. Be aware that the area is busy on weekends with tourists from Bangkok - whereas on weekdays it's quiet, but attractions like the market and joss stick house are closed. The only negative experience was the restaurant. The chef seemed to want to do creative fusion dishes, but they kind of ended up tasteless and expensive. One of their signature dishes was a bit of deep fried fish on a piece of toast, with some mayonnaise. They spent more time on playing the dish than cooking it, as it was still raw in parts. Other dishes were also pretty disappointing. The 4 Baht ferry to the other side of the river is great as well, but please remember - this is quite far from most of Bangkok's attractions.

Take care - not a place to stay if you intend to visit Bangkok City”
This is a very unusual hotel and not for everyone (including us it turns out). It would be a quaint retreat for someone wanting to relax and get away from the rat race. If all you want to do is take it easy and walk or ride to areas just a few kms away it would be fine. It is no good for visiting Bangkok city from. The public transport requires a ferry ride and a taxi (or a decent walk) to get to and changes required to get to the city. Taxis will take you to the city happily (250-350baht) but not at all keenonbringing you back to the ferry. We spent 2 hours one night in a torrential downpour trying to get a taxi(hailing, ringing, app and uber eventually getting one through grabtaxi who said he'd come if there were no police around!). Our Thai is non existent and the English of the staff is pretty much the same so communication is difficult.

Different”
Spent the night at the Bangkok Tree House for anniversary. Great location amongst Bang Kachao. Had a bit of a wait for our room, but once we went to our room was good. Was very chilled, and not too busy, so were able to relax. The rooms/facilities need to be renovated as visible signs of wear, but apart from that very pretty and green.

After a short ferry ride we arrived on this peaceful island. And had a great weekend in the nature. The treehouse rooms are clean and a great experience. The staff is friendly and it is a big plus that they rent our bicycles for free.

3 star hotel with 5 star price - a selfie park”
The roof of the room is very nice and this is a nice concept but I am afraid poorly delivered. The hotel is full of people, clattering bicycles everywhere and difficult to get on or out of the hotel or from your room to the restaurant or reception. People constantly taking selfies and photos (right outside our room door as there is a big mirror there and this is one of the recommended places to take a photo). Drones being flown at 7:30 on Sunday morning from the roof of the restaurant to ensure everyone is awake! Located opposite an oil refinery with lights on all night, noisy boats racing up and down the river until late at night and early in the morning, The staff seem very unhappy to be there - few Thai smiles here. The 24/7 ice-cream (which is actually quite nice sorbet) when requested we were told 'later'. The firefly trip is a bit of a joke. The hotel tell you that you can take photos but only with your phone and not a camera. The guide then shouts at you if you try to take photos with your phone - whilst he shouts for a long time in Thai telling you how the fireflies are in decline due to disturbances and is shaking the branches the fireflies are on at the same time. 10% service charge on an already overpriced bottle of wine (one of only 2 bottle of white wine they had - not types, they only had 2 bottles of the same wine in total) and then take 20 minutes to get it to your table and don't know how to open it - it was a screw top. Breakfast is very disappointing for this price tag. An eco hotel which keeps lights on the roof terrace of the restaurant (which is deserted by 8 pm) on all night and has showers and sinks draining straight in to the river - who knows what else gets flushed straight in to the river. Sorry but this was very over-priced for this experience.
