Value for money and good location”
Pros: strategically located in the market area near town centre. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. Cons: In the morning, the roads leading to the hotel are almost impassable due to the market activities. Many tuk tuk and van drivers have not even heard of Banteera Hotel and so they don't know of its location. So, my advice for the first timer to the hotel is to have a print out or captured lo ation together with its contact number on his headphone for the driver's assistance. Finally, the staff have poor English.

Situated in the Plaza shopping area of Rattakarn Rd, mainly wet market for vegetables & meat. Best prices in town. Fruit market is 500 metres south from Hotel at the Complex Market. Lee Garden tourist trap area (prices exorbitant but cleaner area) is about 800 metres southeast of Hotel. 5 minutes walk to the Clock Tower with all the local 2-row-bench microbus (non-airconditioned), & air conditioned minibus are parked. Fares: To the must-see Hadyai municipal park is 10 baht per person. To the airport 13 km away is 30 baht per person (7 am to 7 pm), board across the street from the Clock Tower. Minibus air conditioned to Songkla is 34 baht per person. From the drop off point, to the beach (west) is about 250 metres. From there going north along the beach 500 metres is the Songkla Aquarium, another must see. Every Sunday morning around the drop-off point is a half-day bazaar. 3rd must see is Chang Puark elephant ride & alligator show, must hire 2-row for 250 baht round trip

in midst of wetmarket. around 1km from city centre ie kimyong market n lee garden plaza. lots of fresh n cheap vegetables n fruits n seafood to bring home. excellent value for money. room is great with big fridge n place to dry your laundry. close to liquor store selling genuine alcohol n wine coolers at low prices. staff is very friendly. hotel does not display its English name. best to give your taxi driver the address in Thai and hotel phone number.

Pros: Hotel is nice, clean, quite and value for money. Walking distance (less than 100m) to Kim Yong Market. Easy to find food for both Muslim & non-muslim at any time. Near to Pakistan Mosque. Took 4 rooms x 2 nights with 4 small children & 6 adults. Cons: Hv to take tuk-tuk to get to Lee Garden area (tourist attractions area). If u hv a tight budget and don't mind staying around market area, this hotel is recommended.

This apartment is located near the morning market and a lot of shops around for you to do the shopping. Easy to access to restaurant nearby. It is a little far away from the central but you can take the tuk tuk. You need to walk a little further to get for tuk tuk or you can ask the help from the staff. The room can share with many people with no additional charges. You can request additional pillows and blankets. Downsize is the room does not have kettle but you can get the hot water from the reception area.. The staff will do whatever o help you . Overall, the apartment is still ok for me..

Price is affordable. Big room with queen size bed. self laundry machine available Strategic location inside the clock tower market. Best choice for shopper if you don't want to take tuttut. Halal food is everywhere. Kimyong & lee garden just 5-10 minutes walk. Easy to get public transport. Available for monthly rental.

you are surrounded by the dirty wet market. Looking for food at night is a problem away from all the tourist activities. Recommended for people who have dealings with the wet market. Hard time to locate the hotel.
