Beautifully renovated and updated French colonial style house and adjoining buildings in a fantastic location. If you want to stay in the center of town but still be in a relatively quiet green oasis, this is definitely the location. Just a 12 minute walk down the hill to the Central Market. We were disappointed though to turn up and be told there was a) construction going on at the hotel and b) we would be moved to another room. The hotel would deserve a four star rating if it had communicated this at the time of booking, or at least prior to our arrival so we could decide if we still wanted to stay there. Rooms were very lovely and well appointed but a little too small for our family or 5. If you are a solo traveler or couple (or couple with a baby) or group of friends in multiple rooms this place would be perfect. There is a communal living space adjoining rooms which is a great spot to hang out in and meet other travelers. Adjacent restaurant not open during our stay.

Beautiful French countryside style ”
When we stayed in this hotel, it’s really like travel somewhere in the countryside of France. The owner has good taste and carefully deco the room, hall, restaurant and garden. However, this hotel also has cons, even though the location is in the alley, we still heard horns all day and the hot water in the shower is limited- we couldn’t take a hot shower over 15 mins and is hard to turn to comfortable temperature when takin a shower.
