Where to stay in Barajas
Barajas hotels & accommodations

The hotel is very well located, the room was very clean and the amenities good, including an outdoor swimming pool. The staff on duty on the desk when we arrived was very helpful. We arrived on an overnight flight from Santiago Chile, and unfortunately booked for the night we were on the flight and not the day later which was what was intended. So we were forced ...

We had one night at the Best Western Barajas Hotel and found it comfortable. We had to call the hotel lobby to advise them we were at the airport but that was ok - they sent a shuttle straight away. Free internet in the lobby was a great bonus as we we there during the Volcanic Disruption. Breakfast was worth the extra payment, continental breakfast with lots of choice...

Had another great stay at this hotel. Due to their reduced summer rates a very pleasant experience. Higly recommendable 5-star hotel. Treatment is very preferrential at all times. No waiting at check-in or check-out. Beds were excellent. All in all it is a brand new hotel and up to the latest standards in all possible ways. Location is outside of Madrid, very close ...

The NH Barajas Hotel is located conveniently close to the Madrid airport. The hotel is clean and simple. Internet access needs to be paid in the room but is free in the reception area. If you have a room in the main tower (lower floors) you might still use the free internet of the reception area. No dinner, but there is a nice local restaurant around the corner. Breakf...

comfortable hotel, within 10 minutes walking distance from barajas metro station, which was only one stop to the airport. very clean room and washing facilities. very close to shops and restaurants. staff could not speak english, which made it difficult to explain that there was no hot water the morning that i left. breakfast was minimul, but quite cheap.

We stayed here the day we arrived in Spain, and the night before we left. We had early flights on both days following. Pros: Despite the rough exterior, the interior is renovated and the rooms spacious and very comfortable... especially the beds. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours but you have to arrange for pickup either from the front desk or calling them from t...

The hotel sits quite a distance from the airport by road so don’t be deceived by the map but there is a regular free shuttle (in fairness, the ‘airport area’ is vast). Although the hotel sits in what can only be described as industrial estate with no shopping or restaurants in the vicinity, be aware that crime is rife in Madrid, even within the confines of the hotel gr...

The hotel is a good value for what it provides and a comfortable stay, particularly if on a business trip given its proximity to the airport. The mini bar in the room is free, so eat/drink up without remorse. There is a breakfast buffet in the morning which is good if not spectacular, and the staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything we encounterd dur...

i was happy to staying in the hotel for a night before i start the trip in madrid :) the location was ok and it was good to move to the city, madrid. Of course, it costs for the transportation especially at night, 20euros. The room was big enough (triple room) and staffs are friendly and clean and nice :) only things to be improved is bed. It was not comfortable beds t...

The hotel is literally 5 mins from the airport. We landed late night to Barajas. When we arrived to the hotel, the staff kindly arranged the additional bed with the guard for our 2 y.o. daughter. The room was clean and breakfast was very good. Highly recommended if you need to stay near Barajas airport.

My husband and I stayed at the Hostal Avenida for 1 week. The location is ideal, a short walk away from Barajas metro station, and therefore very close to the airport. The staff at the check in desk were very helpful in suggesting how to plan short trips in and outside Madrid. We decided to have breakfast at the cafe attached to the hotel - 5 euros per head, but it bei...

I was impressed that this was a hostel, because it sure puts most 3 star hotels to shame! Very clean all in all, there were fresh towels, aircon, a mini fridge, a hairdryer free Wi-Fi (in rooms) and free airport transfer to Barajas. The bathroom is very modern and the mattress firm and comfortable. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely re...
